One of the deepest conversations of Seinfeld, love this scene!
There's nothing deep here. If anything, they're parodying those typical Hollywood-style cringy deep moments with super fake dialogues..
@@OfficialAnarchyz Yeah but it's still deep in a way, the guys show they genuinely care about Kramer's well being and that's not something that was shown very often on the show. So in a way, that was a deep moment.
@@OfficialAnarchyz I think you're selling it short. Kramer is genuinely letting out his frustration as things didn't turn out the way he had hoped in L.A. but at the same time he doesn't want to admit defeat to Jerry due to pride. That's relatable af.
'Kramer what the hell are you talking about..' XD
Summed up his whole role on the show!
Jeff Sullivan that always makes me lose it 🤣
It's more of a parody of those cringy deep scenes that come up in movies, with these super fake dialogues, which would never be said between real people.
I really like the almost cinematic feel of the scene with the gang and the view on the city. It kind of slows down the crazy pace the show usually has, makes the characters rest for a while and let us view their feelings a little. Probably what makes it so great is how rare scenes like this are in the sitcom.
Totally agree! The fact that scenes like these were so rare in the famous 'no hugging, no learning' show made them all the more precious.
"Kramer she was murdered!" Yeah, well, I wasn't looking for a long term relationship...
This line kills me every time 🤣
The Trip is one of the best chunks of Seinfeld and it doesn't get talked about enough.
Combined with The Keys it's like Seinfeld: The Movie.
I would kill to see a few episodes of Kramer in LA.
The Michael Richards Show is pretty much that
I'm moving to LA and I immediately thought of this episode. A friend of mine said "just don't get falsely arrested for murder." Hahaha.
Drewism lol that's too funny 😂
Drewism you’re moving to Louisiana?
You moved?
One way to avoid that is to get correctly arrested for murder
It's funny because the show was actually filmed in a Hollywood backlot so they never actually left LA... HAHAHA!
I know, Right?
Studio City
I love the timing. Just as they are dancing and celebrating, the victims family is escorted by.
Oh I didn't realise that was the family. I just always thought it was just that people walked passed and they got self conscious because they realised they look like idiots dancing. I'll go back and watch again
lol George cracks me up... "Kramer my sandwich- you're crushing my sandwich!!!" Show never gets old...
'Cos the murderer struck again!!'
I'm a California man myself. I lived in L.A. for almost a year. That City has a LONG history of serial killers. Ironically enough, this episode aired around the same time Richard Ramirez's trial ended
Seinfeld without Kramer...is not Seinfeld
Seinfeld without any of them especially George wouldn't be Seinfeld.
This was the perfect show & to this day was the best comedy on tv ever
Nope, without George and Ellen
Perfect writing. Some how it's exactly how I feel.
Me too
What do you want me to say? That the things haven't worked out the way that I planned? That I'm struggling, barely able to keep my head above water? That L.A. is a cold place even in the middle of the summer? That it's a lonely place even when your stuck in traffic at the Hollywood Freeway? That I'm no better than a screenwriter driving a cab, a starlet turning tricks, a producer in a house he can't afford? Is that what you want me to say?
Yeah, I'd like to hear that.
For a moment there, kramer wasnt "kramer"
+Prateek Jain yep!
Well Kramer is NOT saying that!
It was so awesome, Seinfeld without Kramer just can’t happen
this should have been the end scene..kind of
No hugging, no learning
Do? Do? Hey, I'm doing what I do. You know, I've always done what I do. I'm doing what I do, way I've always done and the way I'll always do it.
One of my favorite episodes.
Best scene in the history of television.
yes it is!
Jerry taking a bit of someone else's sandwich seems out of character.
To be fair, George is his best friend.
YES, finally
I saw this episode only once when it first aired and for some weird reason the issue as to whether the tuna had dill or tarragon in it has continued to be prominent in my mind after all these years.
Same
Did you ever find it?
I was always surprised jerry took a bit of George's sandwich since he is such a germaphobe.
Me too
To people asking where this was filmed, it's supposed to be the Hollywood Bowl Overlook off Mulholland Drive, but in reality just looks like a soundstage to me. The Hollywood Sign is visible from Mulholland Drive, but it's way, way off in the distance.
How is this a sound stage by any stretch of the imagination? The series is shot in LA, the actors live there, why would you go to the expense of creating an artificial environment when everyone is there? It makes no sense. From Wikipedia - Seinfeld is an American sitcom that originally ran for nine seasons on NBC, from 1989 to 1998. It was created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, the latter starring as a fictionalized version of himself. Set predominantly in an apartment building in Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City (although taped entirely in Los Angeles)
DeflatingAtheism What are you a moron? They're gonna replicate the leaves of trees blowing in the wind, and completely natural lighting for a simple outdoor scene in LA? That takes a real stretch to -- and now the name make sense...
@@AirLancer Hahaha epic
Negative spin on everything.... hug it out
I would love to locate the exact spot this scene was filmed.
00:15 is one of the best lines in the series.
This is the only episode not featuring elaine....lol
Hahaha when there all dancing and then there like..."Oooooooo" so funny
They filmed in LA, and brought it back to NYC, Kramer is soooooooo awesome.
I wonder if it was dill or tarragon in the tuna sandwich. I assumed dill but I see lots of tuna and tarragon recipes about.
Im free cuz the murderer struck again!!!
According to Wikipedia, they shot Seinfeld mainly in Los Angeles, so they probably didn't use a green screen or anything for L.A.
Ever seen greens screens during that period of time? Looked fake as hell
I love the pause before they agree that, yes, they would like to hear that - all of those Hollywood clichés.
Three Stooges bit at 0:14
I'm doing what I do , the way I've alway done it, doing what I do!! Kramer what the hell are u talking about !! lol ;-) funny stuff!!!!
Gotta get that Hollywood sign in
You're crushing my sandwich
hahahhahah is this a dill???
No its a terragon
hahahahha classic
Once again, George steals the scene.
he always did!
My goal over the next month is to find that exact bench. Anyone know exactly what trail it is? I figured I live 30 minutes away I should finally hike it.
It may have been re modeled by now.
Mt. Lee drive Griffith park.
@@jarrodromanowski7559 the wikipedia page for runyon canyon claims it's over there
we got 1 full house fan!
"...and all the stars that never were are parking cars and pumping gas. Do you know the way to San Jose?"
haha they doubted him
It is on youtube, search "Kramer serial killer', its uploaded by Kroeger22.
Anyone have the part where Kramer slams into that glass that seperates inmates from the people talking to them on the phone and he yells "HELP ME".
Someone knows where this exactly is? Im from Holland and go to California this summer. Please? Thanks in advance! Greetings from Holland!
The murderer didn't like this video.
@Midgetmania619 "Hey, things happen, she'll be okay."
hahaha the victim's family then the subdued reaction
do? do? i'm doin what i do. i've always done what i do. i'm doin what i do. the way ive always done it. and the way ill always do it.

It doesn't say Hollyweed
same thing with me I'm doin what I do
Cuz the murderer struck again!
i am free, cuz the murderer struck again
I wasn't looking for anything long term and you guys have to put a negative spin on everything.
George always eating
you know I met I girl..
Kramer SHE WAS MURDERED!
Yeah we'll I wasn't looking forward to a long term relationship.
They're all just horrible, horrible people :O
is there a version of this scene without the laugh track?
Do? Do? Hey, I'm doing what I do. You know, I've always done what I do. I'm doing what I do, way I've always done and the way I'll always do it.
Do? Do? Hey, I'm doing what I do. You know, I've always done what I do. I'm doing what I do, way I've always done and the way I'll always do it.
What the hell are you talking about?!!
Is this from a movie? Also the way Kramer sits with that stick in his hand.. always felt a little out of place.
