I love how you can feel that they started writing the episode with the idea of "let's make Jerry walk around with a fur coat and a purse" and then reverse engineer it creatively to develop how it happened.

I totally disagree with you, but it's just a matter of taste, I guess. To me, nothing compares to "The Contest," "The Marine Biologist," "The Boyfriend," or "the Soup Nazi."
"The Puerto Rican Day," which is post Larry David, has got to be the all time worst episode, and it's not because I was offended at all. It was just terribly done. The only thing that even slightly salvaged the episode was when Kramer played his role as Pennypacker; otherwise, it was just awful!

Silvio was a great character, too bad he wasn't in more episodes.
He was a great consiglieri.
Just about every secondary character on Seinfeld was a great character. But I wouldn't want all of them to be in multiple episodes. The fact that each of them were only on one or two episodes is what made the episodes great. Newman was an exception though. Even though he was a secondary character, he also showed up regularly. Seinfeld was great the way it was. There's not much I would change about it.
Should have had an episode @ Kramer's friend Bob Sacamena(sp).
You should see millers crossing if you havent already. He was excellent in that as well
There were a lot of recurring characters that didn't take away from the show. David Puddy, The dentist, Susan, Jackie Chiles, Mr. Peterman, George Steinbrenner, Kenny Bannon, Wilhelm just to name some that weren't related to one of the main characters. It would have made sense to have Silvio as a recurring character because he was the building superintendent.
The plastered on comb-over was the real crime here.

The biggest mistake in the Seinfeld series. The only other that wasn't really a mistake, but when Lloyd Braun came back as another person. At the time I just thought he was a really good actor, it was only in re-runs that I realized it was different people.
