- This video shows you how to make a WW1 German gas mask for this you will need card, cardboard, fabric, takeaway container, paint, and hot glue.
Due to current events i did not have brown paint and could not get it so i used a substitute that has this strange purple colour.
This video is very similar to Benjijart's so make sure to check his one out

very well made! I'll defiantly be using this tutorial for my halloween costume :D
how was it?
@@theuniongamer4552 we'll never know...
How did it go
I made one and upgraded it so it worked I put shrubbery and lavender in the filter it doesn't filter out gas but it dose a dam good job at keeping out smells you don't like
I just made it and it turned out GREAT! Any chance you will make a picklehaube? I made one myself and it was pretty simple, The spike was the hardest part though
Super cool! could you try doing a soviet gasmask if you alr didnt? thx
Dude, Why don't you have more subscribers holy hell. SO MANY WW1 AIRSOFTERS COULD BE USING THIS!!!
as good as it looks this would never be safe for airsoft, even if you did put safe lenses. The eyeriss are made of cardboard it would go straight through and make the lenses fall apart.
If you are wanting one for airsoft youd really need one of the proper repros of these masks
Thanks a lot
Hi, I would like to ask if you have a drawing or a model of a gm15 gas mask, or at least advice on where to get the model, because I don't know how the mask is composed, I would like it to be like the original, and I also don't know how the side ones are folded there. pockets, If you could find a template with lines, I would be very happy, or that you would make a diy video.
I am a war enthusiast and i love the level of detail you put into this, very well done to you, you did an amazing job!!! :)
esta de pana
I finished making it and WOW i am so pleased with the outcome thank you so much for this helpful tutorial!!!!!
can you do the zelinsky kummant?
I might do it after Covid-19 lockdown since I cant go to get the materials.

Hi, will you ever do some more diy for that World War I mask? Maybe a Zelinsky mask or a gm-15, would it work?
I made it from plastic
It becomes very similar!
I'm gonna make the this for WW1 airsoft

Thats looks amazing but how it will look in my head?
This Looks so realistic
This cannels is top

Better than pay 100 dls more 25 for shipping
Maybe a French tissot Apparatus? I'm trying to put one together out of relic parts , but being able to make a replica one like this would be nice.
Hi, i just looked it up and it is a very interesting gas mask. it could very well be a future project.
@@greatwarcraft1496 here is a Dukenougat3d showing some of the tube assembly for reference , ruclips.net/video/JzucsGkK-j8/видео.html

Hi, I love gas masks from the period of the First World War, I have two replicas and one original at home, gm17 gas mask, British SBR gas mask, and also the American original CEM gas mask and I have a gm17 gas mask made from your diy video, and then I have a bunch of gas masks in the closet and on the wall, thank you so much for putting this diy video. But I would like to ask, can you make a gas mask from the First World War, a German GM 15 gas mask? It's the predecessor of gm 17, if you could make it and you had the time, would you do diy for it? I give a subscription and like a bell. And I apologize for my bad English
Wow nice collection, Right now my only real gas mask that i have is a WW2 GM-38
@@greatwarcraft1496 Great, yes, I know GM-38, I really don't know much about the names of gas masks, but if someone says the name, I may not know it, but if I type it on google, I know it immediately, although I do not want to brag now, but I basically earned them all masks in the world, on the Internet but of course in all museums, military, police, just as I say I have been collecting gas masks since about nine years, my first gas mask was a Russian mask gp-5, I have masks from the First World War, then gas masks before the Second World War, and also modern, and some firefighting, military gas masks, from different countries, In truth, I do not speak English at all because I am from the Czech Republic, so I have more Czech and Czechoslovak masks, But I am most interested in the First World War, I do not only collect masks but also all military items and antiques, and if you are also interested in the First World War and the kind World War II, and especially no history, so will we be able to understand, but otherwise you have a very nice video, definitely try sometimes you according to your DIY make the German helmet. :)
@@vegaincubus3184 Wow you know your stuff, my first gas mask was the German M65. Currently my militaria collection is rather small and i only have things like a WW2 Mk2 helmet, a rusted shell of a m40 helmet and some other small ww2 items and post war stuff.
@@greatwarcraft1496 can you make a tutorial on how to make a GP5 gas mask?
Can you now try doing the zelinsky kummant or the M2?
Can you make a face piece template?
can i have the pattern please? the video is like to wide for the pattern
no way he actually showed the measurements, that's crazy
Can you make a template for the gas mask face piece?
Question. The millimeters, do I convert them to inches or centimeters because I'm confused on the measurement part of the facial piece.
same it changes so at the beginning he does the horisontal line in the middle and at the end its at the bottom?
Can you show us how you made that stripper clip at the end?
just cut it long and glue on it
Hi, are you planning on making that gas mask again? But I agree with Jeannette Hernandez, Zelinsky Kummant gas mask on the internet diy is not yet.
Yes i will try to make it, but currently i am caught up in school work so my uploads might take longer and they might be more simple projects. Such as the Maxim ammo box i am currently making.
I have some leather I can use so I guess I can use the same template and the leather
what is that cardboard-ish material your using
Hey, is there a printabke template 4 this😊
First
where do i get the template
wear this for school
Make brodie helmet please
Make m1915 german gas mask please
When new video??
How does it filter the gas tho?
it does not 🗿
Could you try to make a ww2 version of the German mask
I tried making one a while ago but it is quite hard.
@@greatwarcraft1496 well i did too but i just used an old bottle neck from a two liter pop bottle and that worked for the snout and mine was fabric so it fit in the canister i made lol
@@Itsnotmeiko Nice, good job :)
what about the French TC-38 gasmask or the ARS.
But is it wearable?
Yes it is
What type of colour is it?
(answers welcome)
for the leather make it a dark brown and make sure to make the fabric look old
for the filter (nonworking) make it a military green if you want to make it for historically accurate make the green look old
Yo yummy toe, nice vid cuz.
Do you have instagram? If you have, can i send you a picture of my diy gas mask?
I don't have one but I could make one .
@@greatwarcraft1496 it would be nice👍👌
Are you from german?
You guys are doing Halloween?

i hate making that face piece its annoying and could i make templates for the face piece its too hard to make
Give me that please 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Can you make a version that is easy to make (not that much detail) and make it all cardboard.
You can skip the fabric stuff on the main part and paint it bold
i give up
