I remember that tosser that took the bolt out and claimed it was a oil leak. He was taking advantage of the fact solicitor's know f/all about anything. Lee don't take too many days off or Isaac will have your job.
MrPedantic brought a motorcycle with paint spots on every thing you " check adjust/ replace " during a service , it was a devil to get the timing correct as the advance bob weights were very worn and shoogley. After 30 mins I had it sweet and purring away , and for fun replaced the oil filler plug/dipstick exactly on his dot mark so it looked like I'd not touched it. Any way with the engine running he unscrews the plug to peer into the clutch basket . His face was drenched in boiling hot oil and he ran about screaming . We all found it hilarious, eventually he returned to collect the bike , but I said , maybe, you ride off you will need to buy more oil to top up the engine as most of it went over your face 😂
This Sprinter Engine He's Trying it On With . IS PROBABLY HIS MATES engine. They've swapped engines , & the reason He Doesn't want to bring it back. He thinks you've took note of the ENGINE NUMBER. & probably engraved or stamped it with your own Code .
Brilliant Isaac, very well made video and nicely presented. That's sum clown with the sprinter engine that's done 3000 miles then went belly up and still has pristine brand new oil running out of it, imagine removing a bolt that's holding oil back and then complain that oil is running out, unbelievable.
I think you need to take photos of the engine work as you do it and keep the paper work to back yourself up; another thing you could do is stamp the engine block and head with a unique custom logo ( only you know what it is and where it is on the engine)
@@mrb3483 ive built quite a few engines in the trade and privately and the machine shops ive used all put their own numbers on the block and/or heads i find them when i do the assembly its basic quality control - and it helps stop you from getting stiched up
If you havent been given an opportunity to rectify a problem, the claimant is dead in the water! I like your “professional” approach! These situations arent stressful when you know where you stand. Happens in every business Ive been involved with!
It pays to record engine numbers on invoices had a similar thing happen to me years ago at a dealership an engine failed and they tried to blame me luckily I had recorded the engine number of the engine
Big up Isaac, Lee that engine oil looks brand new, possibly over filled and took the bolt out for video effect (3000 miles it would carbon up) obviously looking to get a Freeby for his mate, tell him F.oxtrot O.scar 😎😄
🤔 you know it’s funny but The same thing happens to me when I take the sump plug out 😵💫 oil just seems to flow straight out onto the floor, strange that 🙈
Who would put fresh oil in on a supposedly duff engine while intending to make a warranty claim on it .. I guess he took the flywheel bolt out to plug in his diagnostic tool in there 😂
When I was a Warranty Engineer for Deutz here in the Atlanta operation (primary office here in the US) EVERY engine we got back supposedly as a "Factory Defect" where the "customer" had run it out of oil and had a rod big-end come through the block was full of fresh oil up to the hole and a new DRY oil filter on it! Of course, once we got it apart the REAL cause of the damage was obvious! Amazing how many people thought they could put one over on the professionals who inspect those things every day! In my 8 years there the four of us combined (three of us plus the "Chief Engineer") found SIX actual factory defects, all minor ones...
Noro works best with a incandescent vindaloo the night before for the full exhaust burn experience. It's the cruise ship scenario icing on the cake. Get well soon; Issac in his element.
Its more and more normal for shops to take pictures and send them with the invoice, a full copy is then stored for future reference. In todays world its just the only way to prevent these issues.
That moron with the Sprinter was obviously trying to get a two for one deal. He has an engine crane so he likely swapped engines with his mate’s rattle trap. The oil video is quite hilarious. I’ve had a similar experience of oil weirdly gushing out of a newly built engine when I removed the drain on my sump 😂
Whoa, something is going down shortly. Isaac, you may want to seek new employment. Your boss is recording himself from floor level in a room of his home. Things have taken turn...
When I rebuilt my first Small block Chev V8, I forgot to install the oil gallery screws behind the new flywheel. I discovered the problem when I fired it up. Fresh oil poured out of the back off the block, behind the new flywheel and clutch, just like the video that you have been sent. I called the machine shop to question them and they said, “did you use Loctite to fix new oil gallery plugs into the back of the block before start up?” Errrr no…That was my mistake and I learnt from it.
The vvc head is 12mm higher than the standard head in which case no matter what rocker you use, the cam sensor is to far away from the pick up ring on the and the sensor don't work.
Cleanest oil i've ever seen coming out of a used engine 🤔
Well done Isaac not only polishing engines but polishing up the presentation as well😊

Oil draining straight onto the floor , for added special effects 😂
oil so clean you could use it in a kitchen
great job on the video, the bloke with the sprinter engine was taking the piss, The oil coming out was clean as anything. what a cheeky bar stuward
OK, I'll say... the sprinter guy is a right thieving bastard.
Based on the strategy adopted - he does not seem to be blessed with a great deal of intellect.
The bloke was trying it on big time, although it could be he simply didn't know what he was doing.

very believable

Top takeover Issac, and nice work 👍😎👊
Great video and Isaac done really well, hope your feeling better very soon.
Lee's Mrs says, he can only have toast to eat whilst he has that bug.
It's the only thing that she can slide under the bedroom door.😂
Plus pancakes and Pizza 😂😂
Another good vid guys.
I was thinking the same thing Lee. He was trying to get his mates engine done for free.

I do hope you have a replacement lined up for dear old John, as hes an older Gent, and any day soon, he might think, thats it, ive had enough

And no pan to catch the oil !
Well done Issac 👍🏾
Great update Issac, get well soon Lee. Stay well you two.
Excellent video Isaac
I've never known anyone to be so sick you sure it's not the stress from doing all of this that's making him sick

My understanding is that customers have to give you at least a reasonable "opportunity to rectify" or they are likely to loose in court.

The oil looked clean for a presumably Diesel vehicle
Look it's leaking 😂
Ever thought about a having your own workshop that will remove and refit engines and set them up.
Most people won't pay for the extra work. A dyno room would be good but that too is extra cost. It's an entire business in itself.
Your joking right

Very clean oil that was (leaking ) from that old engine.
@@tam1381 I noticed that, never seen such clean oil in an engine even after oil/filter change!
Its a Diesel the oil turns black the minute you start it even with a new filter and that flywheel is brand new he is a conman.
Thank you!!!

Do you record engine when you recon them.
The back off that block looks brand new .?
Did you sort out the correct Perkins engine paint color??
Well done germball!😂😂😂😂😂😂;)
Are you sat on the toilet? Or is that just a very tall door?
get well soon feller.
So Lee's got the 'thrupney bits'? It's a wonder he didn't film his part in the kharzi!
"Not farting with confidence" as they say...
Iv never known anyone to be as ill 😮
👍👍
Are yoù actùally on the bog
