- Malaika Kimani always knew she was destined for greatness and did not let her housemaid status determine the kind of person she was going to be
After all her trials and tribulations in Kenya, she met a man that promised her heaven in Norway but little did she know that this would be the beginning of another painful phase in her life.
On this episode of Inspire Global, she walks Lynn Ngugi through life in a strange land, how she went back to school, got a great job and the unfortunate events that made her lose millions in the hands of family and fake religious leaders
She will also be sharing tips on some of the things Kenyans, especially in diaspora need to be on the look out for to avoid getting conned
Sheila from Kings Developers will also be giving us tips on how best to invest in Real Estate without getting conned and walk us through the beautiful projects you can invest in

I love you very much Lynn 💓 ❤️ ♥️
First off Lynn, your reaction at 17:15 is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣I totally get it as a single gal myself
Lynn is there a way I can help her perfect her English coz this lady she is going places
We have these self ordained false prophets in Kenya targeting people in Diaspora for finances and some of them have made In into the Diaspora where they have started all these Churches that they use to Milk money from Kenyans. They’re living large and you’re toiling day in day out to finance their lavish lifestyle. I stopped attending such churches or dealings with them.
Oh wow 🤩 I have missed out! This is the first episode of hers I see.
Wapi likes za madam Lynn NGUGI 👍

It's so sad that family can do this to you. Over the last 3 years, I've sent my sister 9 million shillings to build some apartments and she's never lied to me or taken a single penny. She even spends her own money to finish a project if I get stuck.
My family is different, we're completely transparent with each other. I pray that everything will be restored to you 🙏
You are lucky my dear some of are not as blessed when it comes to family.
@@healthyforpurpose1898 woie pole. I just don't understand why siblings can be so evil towards each other. May God send you destiny helpers
Lemmy me give credit to my mummy she so supportive
This part of Malaika’s story sounds genuine! Hizi zingine ni ndomo tupu!! But, it is important to know that if you con others, you will also be conned. Ile mastory ya mapastors, aaish, possible but the validity of everything she has said is a huge ⁉️ question mark.
My sister, too, has always been so transparent and supportive in my projects. Always uses the money for whatever project we have and uses her money when we are stuck.
Malaika has had me hooked on LNS for 4 days......she is such a vibe and inspirational.....kudos to the people working abroad
Me too imagine🤔

One thing is constant in malaika's story that she is highly favoured by God n she is unstoppable
I think it's because she's humble and doesn't hold grudges. She forgives easily and completely!
@@bellaolum9768 this is it
That's right, highly favoured and she has a golden heart too, not forgetting very funny😅

Exactly.
She's very authentic.

😂laugh n love ❤her same time. She is so real n cute🎉😅❤
I admire her confidence and authenticity, she boldly addressed what most of us in diaspora wouldn't dare mention.
I LOVE HOW MALAIKA HAS OWNED HER STORY.
Lesson learn here;when God bless you after hard work, take care of your money.its better keep it in your account until you get time to do things for yourself or use trusted companies like AMG realtors where you can sue them for your money
Yes. Very AUTHENTIC
Bottom line..I will advice Malaika to be careful and cautious when home in Africa...Her son must be well guarded/guided when there too..People are mean nowadays..Once,a Swiss acquaintance said to me;beware of low life people..They will drag you down to their level and never regret it.."A word enough to the wise listener". Thank you Lynn for this episode...
I hope she reads this

My biggest take home " Success is only achieved through hardwork"
Let's all learn that wealth is not created in a day but it's all about sacrifice and not giving up in the process.

Thank you Lynn for all the episodes you bring. You are so special and I always love your work.

I am going through the most worse and petty divorce of my life and even my children want to be taken away from me but I here Malaika’s story and the courage I have gathered in me am just thankful for your story cause I had given up completely and was ready to leave my children and go back to my country to start from the beginning. Am still young and can do that. I believe God sent you to tell your story for me and and very thankful and all praise him.

Jeddy I have gone throught the same experience. It has to do with mental illness
Malaika has been through a lot in just 4 decades! Her life is like a movie, I can watch and listen to her all day. A beautiful soul, simple and with so much humor 😅😅😅 not to mention she is so beautiful wow!!💕
Malaika is the true definition of "strength of a woman"
This woman is a vibe. I can watch her all day
This was more like a series. I loved it. I appreciate Malaika for being strong and the host for featuring her. Every episode was eye opening.
Wa Kinyati - what you love from Malaika was mostly pure lies! Of course lies are easy to sell on TV as someone seeks the glory of what never was/were! Malaika is very weak to hit Norwegians at the weakest lint! She is unfairly undressing a people I lived in their midst for 4 years and I still have a lot of friends in Norway many years later! Great people, very kind, makes great friends and very loving! I have watched her episodes series and she is telling many lies. I really liked the level headedness and honesty of her son, Kimani as he spoke about his life in Norway and his friends. I also support the idea of her son looking for his father no matter how bad the situation it sounds.
@mbatiajimmy you sounds bitter. Why do you have to comment everywhere negative. Just look for Lynn and give the side of the story. Kamati ya roho chavu.
I feel like if Malaika met shipira of RHK they would make forever friends!

We need to invite you Lynn to come visit USA and see for yourself how much we work and struggle. We don't own homes but we have helped people own homes there in Kenya just trusting them. We love you Lynn for listening to us from Diaspora. You are our treasure

Watching from the UK, and I have learnt a lot from this story, Families members can be nightmares, they don't understand what people abroad go through. I respect this lady because I understand everything she says. God bless you and your lovely son
They are just being selfish. They understand what we are going through but don't care
Yes, selfish indeed but they don't know the results at the end. They lose their blessings at the end.
@@brendaamong898 you are very right. All over sub Saharan Africa we have same problems. Whether you speak to Africans in Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, etc you will find similar problems. It is just an issue with culture which is selfish. That is same way our governments are behaving. They prefer to mortgage the country for personal gain. Individually, we have to work to improve on our culture and learn to work together and build sustainable families and businesses. My father died, people came and fought and took all businesses just to destroy it later. I am a British of Cameroon origin and I have lived with Africans from all cultures and backgrounds at home when young so I am aware of this problem. It didn't start today and is across all sub Saharan Africa. If we don't talk against it, we cant change things. There is a video trending now of a women who spent 40 years in USA, helped her family, sent them money to build her a house but came back and found nothing.
Yes
This is our story in diaspora, work, work, work, and relatives & family hating you when tell them you cant send more money due to sickness i always ask the same "How does family back home think we get the money?"😢😢
@ mary njeri the families back home don't care all they care about is their stomach's very selfish people
Malaika is such an inspiration. Her story is a true definition of how the beginning may be small but light comes at the end of the tunnel. May her dreams keep becoming.
She's real!!!!! I've watched all from start ! I love her vibe!!! Love from Vienna- Austria . My mum has a story too with her That's how I got here as a teen... our mums have stories!!!!
Same stories of calling our mums poor, though my grandparents were ok., calling them names... only that my step dad was a rich guy! But all changed., we African kids (my bro and I) grew up, we were adults and every changed to positive! He was also older than mum.. years passed , he got older, got sick, we took very good care of him. Elderly people are send to shelters. We took care of him till his death at age 84! I miss him everyday, my siblings (he was their real dad), my mum and we 2 step kids life just changed after he died! All is good, but we miss him!!! They can be crazy but our mzungu became the best!!!! Rest well!!!
Yes. We work like crazy here . I've been working since my 17th birthday, having only those 2 off days a week and 5 weeks a year holiday ! This off days are just to rest, be with family ! No time to socialize , it's to rest and be ready for the next duty! Been working over 20 years and I'm not yet 40 years old. You work till you drop ! My strength is my daughter! She makes me wake up and go work .. she's soon an adult .. 🙏🏾

That's what is called THE STRENGTH OF A WOMAN. Great episode ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Facts indeed
She's been through a lot and she's still winning.she's so Strong!
Lynn, my heart cries out for this lady because as a diaspora myself, I experienced some horrible disappointments from so called family .. Kenyans need to know that we don’t support them out of abundance but rather out of love .. What we go through is indescribable.. No diasporas can afford house girls like you guys .. Most days we even go to bed without food, because we’re too exhausted even to eat.. Malaika, don’t worry about the pain your family have caused you because they will pay for every single tear you’ve shed .. God is still at work !
No, please, you do not need to cry for her at this time, she has already overcome, when you see her giving as a testimony. The Lord God saved, her, preserved her from all harm, and now she has a great testimony of God Grace. Bless.
Naeza kuja nikufanyie kazi Bure oooh
My girl Malaika has seen it all in life. It's your time for shinning now.
This girl cracked me from episode 1to the last one...am so sorry Malaika but just know your 🌟 is bright and you'll do great things your born for greatness ❤🙏
Despite her English being bad, I have watched all the episodes without skipping a minute. She deserves all the best things the world can offer. Weh amekapitia 😢😢
She's African not from England🤡
I think this Norwegian messed her English
I like how this lady believes in her self even with her English she is able to communicate and delivers the message to us.very encouraging story there.

One thing about malaika's life story, it's relating to so many women watching her right now, the struggles of women are real.
Malaika is such a vibe, her story is very inspiring. May God shield you from the enemy
This lady has a very clean open heart.. no wonder she has made it in life.. 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴

What God has favored, no Man can break down 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love 💕 the confidence, the courage, the resilience, the determination in this LADY despite the challenge she has in the Queen's language!👋👋👋
Good morning Lynn, I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 episodes with Malaika. I am so glad for her success and her determination to keep her head above all her struggles. I am Jamaican and live here on the island and have read and heard of Jamaicans living in the diaspora having similar experiences with relatives or friends. I strongly believe persons living abroad should visit their country and do their own due diligence. In addition at the moment, there are so many high-end apartments and townhouses being constructed throughout the island in gated communities, which I strongly believe members of the diaspora can invest in without building from scratch.
A great interview!!!! With many lessons to take away. May the blessing of God be with you always Malaika and your son.
Malika's story was the most amazing one I ever come across, it has really encourages me a lot . I thank God after all the ups and downs you made it girl, congratulations
Great woman. I have learned a lesson here. When God lifts you, it's time to be highly alert. You tend to attract all sorts of requests and ideas from people around where you can easily get confused and eventually conned.
💯💯
She's just an amazing woman...no matter what she has gone through in her life
She has so much positive energy she's unstoppable
Malkia you have said the truth about the family.
Yaani this is a class 5 dropout??Never doubt God.NEVER

You know what, for us who have not had rough life, we should be grateful that God has rescued us from many troubles. Much love from 💐🇬🇧.
Not all family members are bad...my sister send me 200million to buy a piece of land and build townhouses for her...I still do it up to now...
If Malaika made it, i will make it in Jesus name
The worst problem Africa has is the lazy and jerous people wanting to depend on other"s sweat by conning and betrayals. But God is always on your side dear Malaika... your struggle is not in vain... those scorners will never raise above you

This woman is great,
She used her pain as a stepping stone for greatness,
I love her.
This woman is a vibe.
Very authentic without sugar coating anything.
She has gone through a lot of negative stuff in her life but she has worked hard trusting in God to achieve much.
Although she has lost much money which is part of achievement(the earning) she has continued to work to start business and have a home.
Based on her experience she is now wiser to advise the world👏👏👏👏
Malaika is blessed and unstoppable. What an epitome of strength! Resilience in its best form. Thanks Lynn and team for these episodes of inspiration stories.

I love Malaika's spirit! Despite EVERYTHING she's been through, she STILL has joy in her life!!! It RADIATES through her smile and "not-take-myself-and-overall-life-too seriously" approach to everything - why? Coz God's in control and she knows it. God bless her.

Malaika dont fear investing in Kenya. Its our home and so many good things are happening. Try using lawyers to search everything and close deals on your behalf. Its their loss !
Ksh.10 M wueeh ,how do people feel when eating someone's money 😢😢so sad shame on them ,kwanza pastors wamekuwa wezi sana .
Not until I stepped my foot in Europe I realised I'm totally Sane & still have values instilled on me...These people are mentally depressed & under the influence of hard drugs.... I've seen people who got married/dated here , put under house arrest, not allowed to socialize with people, physically abused, not allowed to work or keep communication with their families back in Kenya. They take advantage of the fact that their spouses don't understand their language. Therefore, that makes easy to manipulate people around that things are okay. But at the same time the abused spouse have to look normal in public places. Restricted freedom of movement, tracked down wherever they go. They even follow them to school...The victims sometimes get depressed & at the verge of committing suicide. Sometimes, friends back in Kenya asking to be hooked up with a 'mzungu' I just pity them, if only they knew what happens behind the closed doors!
God also created Wazungu, who are you to paint all of them bad ? we all know our black Africans can be evil as-well. Nothing to do with wazungu. There’s bad and good in every race/ culture.
My sister was killed by a Kenyan man, many women have suffered under our own African men!
Plus Europe is a continent, in the U.K. it’s not that bad. We are still surviving peacefully. Not sure where in Europe you stepped your foot in, perhaps you should analyse yourself.
😢😢
@@Zazezooam so so sorry about your sister, Europe is still the place where they have laws that favour women in abuse, the government will save you and help you stand up on your feet 👣 no one will do that for you in Most African countries

Asante sana Malaika, your story rings a bell to me. This is the reason I do not invest away from where I live. I pay school fees for my people directly to the school/college and only give what I can afford to forget expecting nothing back. Diaspora life is tough and people at home should not take us a granted. Some family members are conmen and the country is politically/economically unstable.......tufanye nini jameni?
5 minutes and I like Malaika's humor filled story telling. Keep winning beautiful ❤️
😊
Me half a minute❤😊
Relatives working against one of their own happens to all of us, be it in diaspora or not. I started farming this year and I supervise everything. Mimi sitaki mchezo. Of course I have been conned too😢
Malaika you are not alone. I don't speak with my brother, a guy I paid his high school education fees. Reason I built my mother a house and appointed my nephew as the caretaker of my mum's( she is 72years) and the farm. These family dramas are suffocating and sad
When I hear such stories I pity our African families because the greed and selfishness that we have that we cannot be trusted by our families in the diaspora is very pitful . I wish they would see the bigger picture. This lady has a very good eye in business ideas. Be blessed sis and you will emerge victorious
Her Sense of fashion 👌👌
Am impressed! This lady is halorious!! I have learnt alot from her, "no one is limited" am so proud of her ❤️
