Well it's great about it and the design was great too and didn't expect to see a Fit4 on it rather than Grip2. And will you be testing out Polygon Siskiu N9 maybe you know I hear is a great bike and comes with decent components with a reasonable price.
This was pinkbike's best review video yet. Excellent description of how the suspension works, what works well, what doesn't. Great job guys! And fantastic riding Sarah!
Alpine Sender In my opinion the Torque climbs well and descends even better. The design is really nice that you will get the downtube routing tube which can protect the frame. You wont get a bottle cage with it. The frame is nice and beefy as well. Cornering this beast is really fun. And I feel it easy to stay on line too. But I picked a size M while I’m in between S and M, so I cannot really say anything about the playfulness of it. About climbing, people say it would be hard with 175mm rear travel of the bike but it doesn’t feel bad, plus you will gain more strength.
@@huylifts Good to know we are planning on buying one within the next few weeks glad to hear the good review. Mine will be an XL so a little bigger than a medium.
The bike looks awesome I like that it doesn't have extreme geometry it looks balanced. Let me disagree on the X01. I think it's a good choice I have GX Eagle on two of my bikes and the rear mech is very flimsy and it has cheap build quality. It might shift the same at the beginning but see it after six months or a season...
I actually have a full GX eagle set up with an X01 derailleur on my Kona, just because the GX derailleur cage got bent way out of shape by a stick in chain in the first month I had the bike. X01 derailleur is a lot more durable than the GX, so there's at least one benefit
So pumped to see these ST29ers getting the PB treatment. Now if you guys could just compare the Trance and Habit with the Fuel, Sensor and S-120. I'll have my 5 bike comparison made much easier! 😊
I really do like the intro - it’s one if the best imho. And, okay, it’s nice bike, but what about the cabling; is it internally fixed or just flopping about? Are the frame bearings of a decent size and quality? Is the headset of an easy to replace standard or one of their specific sizes? Why are the holes in the headtube so large and aesthetically unpleasant? With my experience, their bikes are normally great looking, but have some problematic points of design - well, so have every other brand out there, I suppose.
Something to note: Gx and X01 do NOT shift exactly the same, the X01 derailleur is made to a much higher standard. GX is floppy and awful, X01 is much MUCH better.
newt. Not enough of a difference to justify the mech though. Richard correctly mentions that more cash for other areas would have been better spent. Also replacement costs are far higher if damaged.
@@chm1701 gx cages are like taffy, never seen one that isn't bent. X01 has a carbon cage, doesn't bend. Complete failures are more expensive to replace, but small damage is less impactful on the X01. I'd put it on all gx builds
I disagree I have used both the xo1 and the gx for the past 2 years I have destroyed both and I find if the gx goes wonky in a race or on a big bike packing trip you can bend it to make it work for the rest of your ride. I believe Cannondale should have put the gx on the bike and for people whom love the xo1 eagle to buy it on their own @@TheGuyWho3415
Nice looking bike but poor quality control or poor transport.Rear wheel has major issues right out of the box. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Rear axle is bent! Derailleur is misaligned.Since the rear wheel comes assembled I would have expected better.Assembly instructions poorly written, but that was not unexpected...just annoying.I just had the bike checked at a shop and was told that I should contact the seller about getting a whole rear wheel assembly with cartridge. (The bike shop could not do anything to help me).Not a good experience with this bike, so lesson learned.Added 3 stars for excellent customer serviceUpdate Sept 8 2020Just received a complete replacement wheel for free. Great service and an otherwise fine bike.
It’s neither, I don’t agree as I think she did a good job but he didn’t say that girls in general are less fun to watch he just said this one is less entertaining.
What are your thoughts on the Cannondale Habit? Let us know!
Its a copy of Canyon Neuron
A discount yt jeffsey?
If YT Industries and Kona had a baby this would be it

Absolutely. Great description of the goodies and how a shorter travel trail bike like the Cannondale does handling the ups and downs.
Do a budget bike field test like habit 4, remedy 8, slash 8, bird am9 and transition patrol alloy
Looks like my 2018 Canyon Spectral but 29er. Would like to demo one in the summer. Liking these field tests Pinkbike!
the Intro is always so catchy!
Really enjoying these new field tests miles better well done!
I would love one of these with 150m travel
By any chance are you guys reviewing the canyon torque wondering your options? Also, the Habit bike looks like a great trail bike!
Unfortunately not, as it wasn't a new frame for 2019
Pinkbike okay thank you for letting me know

Alpine Sender Goodluck and have fun with your new bike! Btw I found out how to fit water bottle cage on the bike, if it works I can tell you later.

it also works better on downshift from 50t thanks to a stiffer, tighter tolerance cage
Color is fresh
Will you do test on the new commencal clash?

Review the Whyte T-130
As one of the bikes I'm considering, I agree with this!
Just ordered this is red 😍
Im jealous
doggo Got rid of it, switched to a Trek Roscoe 8
@@MAXGOESGOLFING Why the switch and thoughts between these two bikes?
I got the 2021 model, by then it was only available in "stealth grey", but it shits all over the Fuji Pro XC carbon it replaced.
5ft10, what size 🤪? Always in between m/l but wondering what you all rode? Awesome review!
That bike is nice

Awesome intro! What song is it?
Can you guys do the Rocky Mountain thunderbolt bc edition?

Are you reviewing the Habit Carbon 1 for women or for men? Is there a difference?

Is it just me, or do all of these sound like commercials for the bikes they ride? Have these guys ever disliked one of the bikes?
No, they haven't.
When did it become fashionable to talk like a creaking door!

fuck you guys a rude as fuck, grow up.

I think Sarah and Richard actually did a very a good job in this review... In fact I'd say this is probably the best field test of the whole series.
