  • Marathon, trail, cross country, enduro, marathon trail, hard tails, soft tails and the list goes on!
    Deciding on which bike to buy can be a confusing and sometimes frustrating process. The are simply so many options out there! Ultimately, we've found that it is a decision that is usually heavily influenced by the bike shop you walk into or the group of people you ride with. The reality however, is that you should be choosing a bike that is going to enable you to ride the way that you want to ride.
    In this EP of ALL RIDE, we put the idea that you have to own the ultimate olympic level race machine* to ride in a marathon race to the test.
    We hope that you find this useful!
    *Both of these bikes really impressed us. It comes down to your level of skill and which bike will enable you to achieve what you want from your riding.

    I’m ridning a habit 3.. My friends are ridning the scalpel. They are much faster than me uphill and on straight tracks.. So I was just here to be confirmed that it’s the bikes fault and that i’m not in bad shape..

      Nicolas Helle hey Nicolas, yes, the Scalpel is arguably one of the most efficient climbers on the planet. You’d have to be an absolute beast to quicker on the climbs riding a Habit.

      Thank you for boosting my confidence. I will tell the lads that I am actually in great shape when they are waiting for me on top of the hills.
      It’s great to have this excuse.

      Nicolas Helle 😂 In saying the above, Dayle managed to keep up on most of the climbs on this comparison so don’t rely too heavily on your “excuse”😜

      @@WILDAIRSPORTS Got a fsi Carbon 3 and now i’m the fastest 😊
      But I think that one of the big differences is that I got a medium size instead of large..

    That's exactly what I've been wondering if me and my mates are riding the wrong set of bike 100ml travel bikes or maybe we should go to 120ml bit wider trail bikes so thanks very much for the guys and keep up the good work

    Great review, Just curious about measurements for Dayle riding the Large Habit? I have seen various recommendations for the Habit sizing. Thanks!

    What bottle cage is used on the scalpel? Is the tiny box attached. See 4:18 in the video.

      guido Schmidt Those are the Lyne Components bottle cages. The tool pouch is mounted to the frame on the Lyne Holy Rail

    Does the habit come with a chain stay, or is it sold separately?

    • @WILDAIRSPORTS
      @WILDAIRSPORTS  4 года назад

      Larry Tate were not sure what you mean Larry? The chain stay is part of the frame construction. Are you referring to a chain guide?

    How tall is a rider on the cannondale habit?

    • @WILDAIRSPORTS
      @WILDAIRSPORTS  2 года назад +1

      Dayle is about 175cm.

      @@WILDAIRSPORTS Can you please tell me if Dayle likes the “L” frame or is it a big one for him? How does a bike feel in size “L” for a person with a height of 175 cm? I myself am 175 cm and I can’t decide to take “M” or “L”.

      Late comment: how would frame size affect the riding regarding xc? I am 184, long legs/short torso, riding a medium habit. The size fits me perfectly in my normal trail riding (flat and gnarly). I used to have a top of the line xc hard tail…and must admit that the habit feels sluggish in comparison - but I am wondering if it could change with a longer stem and carbon wheels, but I am afraid of the costs….
