Milestar Patagonia M/T Tire Review

In this video I review our 35 inch milestar patagonia MT tires. We have put 17500 miles on these tires about 7000 of them have been offroad. They have been in the mountains and trails in Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. The tires have held up great with some nicks and chunks out of the tread from our travels, but they have worn evenly and performed very well in all conditions. The only thing i can say negative about them is they have gotten louder the more miles we have put on them, which based on other reviews is common.

i own these tires on my 3/4 ton 1989 GMC 4x4 good tires so far cost is not too stiff mud tires cost alot as you know some 2000 a set or more

Yes the price drew me to these as well, like you said, you can spend alot of money on tires these days and milestar has keep the cost down and provided a good tire as well

Great review! You really have taken care of those tires and it shows from your tread life and great wear pattern. The frequent five tire rotation has a lot to do with this. I’ve seen other videos complaining about sidewall failure with this tire but I believe it was due to improper tire pressure like you were saying. Thanks again for the great review!

Thank you I appreciate it, aside from your oil changes and brakes, tires are the next most important maintenance item in my opinion, so taking good care of them is important regardless of the type of tire you have and how you use them. Thanks again!!

@BMWQC good deal, I would expect them to wear a bit faster just due to the weight of the truck vrs something like my jeep, did you get the newer compound m/T 2 if so they should wear better than the first generation ones like mine, they are great tires and I will likely buy another set when these wear out

Good to hear. I’m running mastercraft courser mxt’s right now and they’ve done awesome. I’m at almost 38k on mine and they almost look new. I’ve only got a few thousand off-road miles. Mostly highway driving, but they’ve been great when I needed them.
