Which do you recommend or which is better is it to have just this inverter or go thr traditional way of off grid solar system wbere we have the systems different than everything being combined in just one inverter this makes me fear that the inverter might not last long enough.
Nice video, but it is always advisable to include a battery bank for this type of set-up as production from the solar panels can be instantaneously reduced (even for a couple of seconds) if the intensity of the sun drops or a cloud cover suddenly happens. If the load is more than the output from the solar panels, the inverter will switch off, hence my advice for a small battery bank (that’s is if you plan to run exclusively from the sun ) to compensate for any drop in production. 😎😎😎😎

Also, can you share link to the manual of the inverter, I lost mine before installation so I have not set or connected the comms cable from battery to inverter yet.
What time of day is this test done? Because am having it difficult to understand the 5kv PV giving less than 1000watts. And what is your experience so far with the cworth lifepo4 batteries? Are they really giving 90%+ DOD?

concerning the solar hybrid inverter which must be switched off before turning on the solar breaker to generate output from the inverter using solar panel only, in a case where the sun goes down shortly and the panels stops generating energy but the inverter is still ON, will the inverter gets damaged if the sun shows up again almost immediately?

In other to be within the max Voc of this inverter, which is 500v, did you consider a safety factor in your calculation? I've seen calculations such as: number of panels x rated Voc x 1.25safety factor. Of which the result must be below the inverter's MPPT max allowable voltage. Or is it that safety factors are not a big deal in this part of the world due to our weather?
Chai Chai Chai. My hybrid wellion 6.2 Kva inverter I installed 3 months ago ( 7th july) just stopped working on 11th October. Now am back to darkness and National grid collapse wahala. The inverter just stopped working without sign or displaying any error code. Except when there is NEPA (on grid) light which is low voltage and it will beep, and display 10, of which the manual says its shows Nepa light is low and inverter is derating, it has never shown any error code.. Because of that i stopped using Nepa light to charge the battery or even bypass the inverter. Now i dont what actually happenned. Has any person had this experience. What could cause an inverter to stop in such a short period. What is the guarantee now that a new inverter would not do same thing. I really would want to know what kind lead to inverter malfunctioning so early especially without any obvious error. It just refused to come up

But from what you have just said, I am convinced this wellion brand is no good. Mine was their 6 2kva type. So what did you do , how did you resolve it. Did you buy a new inverter ? If yes, what brand, and is it working well. I really wish I could talk directly, but I don't know if there is a way to talk privately on youtube. I don't want to put up my number here.
@@mikizhero Tried repairing it the first time but after the second time, I just decided to buy a new one instead. It felt like a waste to repair it again.
Note that High frequency inverters always has a shot lifespan, they are not designed to take inductive loads, like pumping machines, regular air conditioners or heaters.
This is making me proud of batteryless inverter or high voltage voltage like you said.

My Welion 4.2kva also got spoilt in less than a year. It blew twice.
