    • @fc436
      @fc436 11 месяцев назад

      Another thing about victron at not only, is totally clear: if discharge a lithium battery until BMS shut down, and you go away, and the last 1% of charge is drained, lithium cells Will be irreversible damaged. . and also the Deep of discharge affect a lot battery life on lithium batteries. If you drain all days 95%, last a lot less than you discharge 30%.=this is for all batteries of the world

    Thank you so much for always giving wonderful analysis. However, most lithium batteries in Nigeria come with secondary cells(used) this is one secret most people don’t know about. The 10-15years life span won’t actually reach that time. I have the opportunities of meeting and having behind the scene discussions with more than 3 directors of lithium battery manufacturers and they explained that to me. I believe tubular batteries do a lot too, for me, the environmental friendly and quick charge are just my preferences for lithium battery.

    I beg to differ slightly on the Depth of Discharge of Tubular batteries.
    The DoD for Tubular batteries is 80%, not 50%.
    50% DoD is meant for car batteries.
    Besides, the DoD is not determined by the battery manufacturers; it is determined by the inverter manufacturers; that is why at 11.5V, your inverter will start beeping and then stop supplying power.
