I added a 600 watts wind generator. It's Oklahoma, where the wind comes right behind the rain 🌧️. It's a funny thing, but the wind blows when the sun 🌞 isn't out. Im using twenty big marine batteries. I have 1600 watts of panels, they're usually enough to run the air conditioner. Even with the smoke from Canada.
No special information. I was hoping there is a device I can add to my charge controller to boost the little current coming from the solar panels during raining season.. It still boils down to having more panels.
I figured out that if you have a half a megawatt of solar panel capacity it will provide roughly 15 KW in the rain. Of course when the sun comes out all the solar charge controllers will go into clipping and you won't get any more than the solar charge controllers are rated for. But if you have the land and the money and the copper wire for all those solar panels that's one way to keep the power flowing even in the rain.
Hello smilingsun I just installed my solar few week ago but now it shutdown between one hour of using and with almost 8hour of charging I don't know what can caused it
