Some people digging on the vocalist a bit... I don't agree.. I think she did a fantastic job. I do think she's a bit too low in the mix at places and that at parts she could have projected more...but still...it's a female's voice take on the song and it's excellent in my opinion. This band clearly loves Led Zeppelin and that alone scores big points with me.

They need to turn up her mike. Her pitch is ideal to get up and over the guitars. Her voice is gorgeous.
These are not really covers but renewed interpretation of classics. They, the musicians give a song like this a whole new life, for us the older guys & new generations. They did a fantastic performance. The 3 part guitar incredible. The singer great!

I definitely agree !!! The guitar parts are really, really good !!! I hope you won't mind if I ask what kind of phasre you used during the "signature guitar melody" at 0:46 ? The same effect is also being used during the guitar solo at 2:43........... Really lush phaser and I am dying to know what it was. You guys are clearly and definitely professional level musicians! Kudos!
Absolutely! By the way, Ten Years Gone is my favorite song of all time. And they did it proud.
All guitars sounds were generated using axefx3 but the phaser is based on a mxr phase 90 script. I hope that helps 👍
@@danielsauriol Hi Dan, Its a Phase 90, but a sim in the AXEFX3 all the guitar sounds apart from the Acoustic guitar are through the axefx. Im glad you enjoyed the video, it was just for fun and the love of Zep. 👍

A perfect analogy!! Love her version of “The Rain Song”-which popped up on my feed & gave it a listen, was completely & absolutely blown away w/how ethereal and sublime it is/was…all of the above!!!
What a great band! This version is absolutely great! The gentlemen that originally did this would be very impressed,to say the least. My son in law is a guitarist and loved it! Wanna here some more of this fine band! As an old man of 66 , I love to hear younger men and women play the music of my youth. God Bless you guys and keep it alive!

Another example of a great song by Page with multi layered guitar tracks that is perfection in the studio, that was simply impossible to duplicate on the stage.

Great job !!! Gets me to thinking about the way the public rags on LZ about them being thieves with their music. I know when they were young tey borrowed alot from the music that inspired them but the songs like Over the Hills, Rain Song, The Ocean, Kashmir, Black Dog, Achillies Last Stand, Fool in the Rain and this tune Ten Years Gone are timeless !!! I dont think their reputation is fair.

1987 Spring break @ Daytona Beach I was 19 and listening to this song on my tape player Walkman headphones sitting in my lounge chair on the beach tripping on mushrooms... Watching the waves, seagulls and people walking past with all those Physical Graffiti songs swirling in my head... The world was mine to take at that time... ahh this brings back sweet memories of a different time.
