I had this issue with one of my cats and my now husband! She was so in love with him, I always told him if we broke up he had to take her or she'd never forgive me. She forced him to love her back, and spent the last few years of her life with her favorite person. I feel like I was meant to adopt her so they would find each other.

Yeah, I've had that kind of thing happen many times & some people can be so childish/ insecure/ aggressive about it 😾 It's not about them (as this lady is smart enough to know), it's often about the animals & their past experiences (with other people/ before they got them).
