It's a bit frustrating - I've just discovered your channel and want to binge your content BUT I'm just working my way through a re-watch of TP (on Season 3) so I feel I have to avoid too much RUclips analysis at the moment. I couldn't resist watching one of your videos and can't now wait to finish Season 3 so I can tear into the rest - your titles sound so intriguing! What the hell??? I haven't watched the stream yet but I had absolutely no idea you had a podcast. I've been LOOKING for a Twin Peaks podcast that covers what has already happened and isn't one that just aired during the return episode by episode. I've already listened to 119 and wrote down notes on what they said during it. ESPECIALLY I know you enjoy Mark Frost's books which I love aswell and consider them as much as Frostcanon as the show and movie. I've been looking for a new reason to do a third watch of the series along with posts from the /r/FindLaura subreddit and looks like this could be one! Looks like the reason I've never found it is because it's not on stitcher OR google podcasts which are both what I use to search for new ones.
I don't have a podcast, I just do these chat/update livestreams once in awhile. I'm a frequent guest on Talking Backwards which I highly recommend, and Damn Fine TV (who are the guests on this video) is a new favorite. I also recommend In Our House Now, Chopping Wood Inside and Lost In The Movies!
@@TakeTheRing Are there any podcasts like 119 you can recommend? If you haven't listened to that one, they basically rewatched the return with the ideas of future episodes in mind and was spoiler filled in order to come up with theories and ideas along the way. Just started listening to Talking Backwards and it seems they have someone new there with them so they're trying to not talk about future episodes at all. Especially would love a podcast where people acknowledge Frost's books more in the bigger picture rather than just saying "Lynch never read them so it's not canon". When I think that Frost and Lynch, while sharing some ideas, have different ideas on what happens in the show and what it's about which is why I like to use the terms Frostcanon and Lynchcanon. Your videos seem to incoporate the books a fair bit, so if you were to make a podcast like this I definitely would be a listener.
@@MattMelon519 119 did a really good job. In Our House Now features John Thorne and JB Minton who have seen everything and have written about it for years, so that's a good place to start. I would stick with Talking Backwards because they get into the books pretty heavy (and I guest on those episodes). Also I will be putting the video versions of our chats about the books on this channel in the near future!
I think if Lynch decided to do something, it might be something like a Fire Walk With Me-style standalone movie but about Carrie Page. other than that I think a S4 proper would be kind of a clean slate-type thing. Present day, new cast, young people, maybe Hawk/Lucy/Andy old school folks -- but basically because the timeline has changed, anything can happen really moving forward. OR they could go back to 1989 and basically relaunch the whole thing with a whole new cast and Laura Palmer is missing and Dale Cooper comes to town to investigate. it's all laid out in Frost's Final Dossier and it's the perfect setup for a soft reboot
