I am INFP and I have an ENFP boyfriend, we have been together for 3 years. Just saying that sometimes INFP can act as an outgoing person, you'll be mistaken her as an extrovert, like me I'm quite popular but enjoy to be alone after going through some social interactions with people, but a healthy infp knows what she needs and she will manage and nurture herself independently. INFP loves and adore the way ENFP is so much different from us but at the same time they understand us more than any other personality types.
I'm an INFP male dating an ENFP female, and you are right about reading a room, but personally I'm ambiverted that is more sided towards introversion, but I love being extroverted and she helps me be comfortable enough around people to be extroverted
I have been married to an ENFP woman for 21 years.. if she is in more extroverted expressions, I struggle. If she slows down just enough to read my vibe, things are awesome. This has remained absolutely consistent through our relationship: meeting, courtship, marriage, and even right this moment.
Thats for sharing! I'm INFP and my best friend is ENFP. I've been searching a lot information if INFP and ENFP can be in healthy relationship so this helped me to believe so 😇 Where ever you are stay safe and have a nice day Edit. This moment has long gone. Didn't work out
I'm an ENFP and have an INFP boyfriend of almost four and a half years and I can tell you that for me the INFP is one of the most amazing personalities to be around, specially when they open up to you, and I totally get the responsibility of following through with your actions as an ENFP and also our relationship has been so smooth partly because we both avoid conflict but because we are great at communicating what's going on so when there's a problem it's fixed right away. To me he is the best person in the world!!
I'm an ENFP male dating an INFP female and it's really satisfying so far. She's been slow to open up but the more she does, the better it gets. The main thing holding us back is she's afraid I'm "too perfect to be true" - her words. But to me it's very encouraging because I have been myself and eventually she'll be convinced.
OMG. As an INFP (dating an ENFP) I can relate to your girlfriend. Sometimes I'm afraid that he is too good to be true. And I wish we were more open. I'm having hard time openning and expressing emotions. He is shy so things are going slow for us. Are you guys still together?
I am an INFP and my husband is an ENFP. I love being with someone as passionate and quirky as I am. I was a hard shell to crack, but he was always so clearly happy to see me and never put any expectations on me, so that helped a bunch. And as he got to know my "weirder" layers, he just loved me more. After 5 years of marriage, the biggest hurdle is keeping the house clean 😅 As for the INFP who acts extroverted, I get that all the time. I am friendly and energetic bubbly in no-pressure environments, but I am an introvert for sure. I actually read somewhere that INFP's are often mistaken for extroverts.
My husband and I are the same, me INFP, him ENFP, had to laugh at the keeping the house clean comment 😂 we struggle with same thing... also making plans!!
I am an enfp who feels a connection with an infp. Her shyness and beauty make me feel shy too, which has caused me to hesitate in the past, but I also enjoy the anxiety as I have not felt this way in a long time. Hoo boy... She is definitely worth fighting for
@@hokutodecuisine3855 She said she wasn't interested, so I stopped being interested. She flew to spain right at the start of covid, started trying to convince people that covid was no big deal. I started to view her as vain and selfish. I ghosted and stopped thinking about her pretty fast after I reached that point. I forgot about this comment and want to delete it now. The only happy ending is that I stopped caring for my own sake once I got my answer.
@@enfp 🥺I'm enfp girl. My infp boy adores me since our childhood. He took a lot of years to open up but finally proposed me when we are adults 🥺💕 he's my soulmate.
I’m an INFP and my husband is an ENFP. We’ve been together for 12 years (married for 5 years). I never thought I’d meet anyone whom I could have this deep connection with. Despite coming from different countries (I’m Thai and he’s British), we have so much in common and I feel that he understands me more than anyone I know. We met at a media company where we used to work together. Now we enjoy doing creative things together over weekends. Though I much enjoy my alone time, I like going out socially with him and his friends too as somehow he makes me feel less awkward and he always makes me laugh. To me, ENFP is my perfect partner.
I have an INFP coworker. I love her, she's amazing (I'm ENFP) She's hilarious, vibrant, and blunt, she's the best I love working with her because she had this toughness to her, but she's sensitive and kind. And I would fight anyone who hurt her.
Generally total opposites will be a nightmare, but sometimes a mismatch on I/E and/or F/T can be positive...sometimes :) Any relationship tips for fellow ENFP/INFP couples?
Yes! Give each other the space they eventually need....and expect several extended periods of dark silence from your partner. It is essential for NFPs at times.
I am an ENFP (female) married to an INFP and I think we are the perfect match :) It depends what you want to get out of life. We are not the marriage that gets a lot done for sure :P We are very similar so we dream up a lot of plans and ideas but it is harder to implement both being NFP. But it is so refreshing to be with a fellow dreamer and a lot of our conversations are 'what if's'. His energy is so peaceful and calming to me, I love his depth and his ability to be extraverted when we are with friends. He is an amazing at listening (NF) and is such a great partner! We have been married for 5 years and we are so happy together :) On paper it might not seem like a good match because you won't be able to implement as easy as with an TJ but who says that is the goal! We have such a great life we travel the world and we are both open to endless possibilities! We can both adventurous, but then love to sit for 6 hours in a coffee shop and talk deep. Its amazing and I recommend t to everyone :D
Yes. I agree. Enfp female married to infp male 10 years. But with kids, the lack of the TJ functions can be frustrating! We both struggle to pull it off together and it goes against our nature. It's also hard when I get down and I need him to be a bolder decision maker.
ENFP here - i’ve been in a relationship with an INFP for 4 years & last year we got married Can’t say the dynamic between all ENFP’s/INFP’s is the same but I have found this pairing to be very fulfilling & healthy, both of us can honestly say neither has met another person who understands the other so well From a relationship perspective there a lot of implicit trust / loyalty between us... we openly communicate about our innermost feelings / emotions regularly without it getting weird... can easily cheer the other up & offer support where needed... can always see where the other person is coming from if we are having an argument (which tends to be a rare occurrence anyway)... both have the same love for animals which is probably why we have taken it upon ourselves to adopt a few strays This is quite a stark difference to some of my past relationships with “S” types... those weren’t so harmonious 😂 Problem areas in the ENFP/INFP combo I’ve found is the E/I split. I often want to go out in the world and try/do fun experiences like rock climbing, snowboarding, travelling to a far off destination etc, where as my INFP would be more than content to simply stay inside & read an endless supply of books whilst surrounded by our pets To this end I’ve learnt to occasionally give my partner personal space to deflate & decompress from the world, whilst they agree to come of out their comfort zone once in a while & join in on some adventures
Thank you for the great story! Can I ask you how do you manage with routine household activities? Isn't infp too absent-minded to clean the house and cook etc? I'm mostly worried on the routine part.
I can concur! I am an ENFP in a relationship with an INFP and we connect in every way and it’s the first relationship that I feel safe. But I am definitely more spontaneous and adventure driven (love to travel, likes get togethers and parties, loves concerts and festivals and amusement parks) where he’s more homebody and likes individual hobbies (video games, runs track, cooking, reading). Unfortunately neither of us has a huge interest in the other’s hobbies either so that is probably our biggest hump, but we both do well with needing time to ourselves so we are fine going off and doing our hobbies without the other person. I hope we balance each other and start to gather an interest in each other’s hobbies.
My boyfriend (INFP) fell in love with me, thought we’d be perfect together. I (ENFP) wasn’t attracted to him, but agreed we’d be good for each other. We were close friends for a while, but he kept trying. Then he pulled away and it kinda shocked me to realize I wanted to be with him.
I'm an INFP male... YES, I am slow to open up! I need time. My ENFP wife opens up very quickly, and this has been a challenge all through our relationship, which has been about 22 years now. If she's able to come back and slow down a little bit so I can catch up, things are great.
My boyfriend (infp) , he started this relationship first, but always disappeared… what happened to him ? Am I being dumped? Just like the day before and today He is a different person
I was in a relationship since last year with an ENFP guy, (INFP being me) and honestly we connected like no other. We genuinely fell in love but we both had unhealthy tendencies- I struggle with mental illness and fearful avoidant attatchment style and he struggles with abandonment issues, and basically the situation in our country didn't help at all. I left the country and subsequently, him, for a better future. I know from some friends that he hasn't been coping well at all and he's been engaging in self destructive behaviour and I don't know how to help. I was the one that had to be objective in the relationship all the time, the one who was the most responsible and it kind of drained me as well. I might be more grounded than most ENFPs but that doesn't mean I don't want to let loose times to times, and if I did that it'd have bad consequences. He also hasn't matured enough. I do think this relationship is possible but the partners _must_ have a stable lifestyle or income first of all, and secondly being mature and assertive, and third having a support system other than your partner because as dreamers we need a wake up call times to times. ENFPs are lovely and I envy their natural ability to express their ideas to the world and the excitement they see in it, but sadly life has taught me that dreaming too much is one way of downfall.
And see, I've had the opposite issue. My best friend is an INFP and I am always bringing her back to reality. I am an ENFP and she can be too much even for this chick. She has been coddled too much and is a bit of a princess. One thing I'm helping her with is to try not to be such a martyr. All problems automatically become all about her. Everyone hates her. Nothing good will EVER happen. A guy likes her? Oh no! She could never go out with him! He's not (insert impossibly perfect man)! She even embellishes past events, making them more interesting every time I hear the story. I was there, so I know what happened!! So I try my best to get her out and socialize her. She really needs it.
As an INFP, but I consider myself a social-introvert. I like my alone time, but it is my dream to travel the world and meet new people with different perspectives. I could easily be mistaken for an ENFP or ENFJ when discussing topics I am passionate about.
Same with me.. I'm an INFP too!! And my dreams are same like yours but when I'm like in social gatherings...all my build up confidence goes away n i just become my introvert self again...😅😁
starting to date an ENFP. I'm an INFP. hes definitely over the top and I know not to take the talk too seriously yet. Show me you walk the talk buddy, and we'll be a-ok
INFP dating an ENFP been dating for almost three years now and our relationship felt so natural and easy from the start. Our avoidance of conflict has truly made us honest with any negative feeling we ever have. I truly think we fit perfect.
ENFP girl dating an INFP girl. Definitely can work but have to always be communicating and remembering that we aren't the same but we love and support each other differences
INFPs do understand the accidental promises and energy enthusiasm. ENFPs and INFPs do understand each other! Both can have similar energy. There are some differences of course!! At least for me. Great video DATW!
honestly as an INFP i feel like dating an ENFP can be exhausting sometimes. ENFPs need constant stimulation and contact and they can get clingy. i've found that all the ENFPs i tried dating got overwhelmed and anxious because of my constant need for alone time, and they thought there was something wrong with them when really as an INFP i like to have some distance sometimes. they also got frustrated if i didn't go along with all their crazy impulsive ideas/schemes (even though INFPs are intuitives and have Ne, i feel like i act quite carefully with decisions and plans, even with spontaneous ones). never worked out in romance for me
I appreciate this video :) I found myself a glorious INFP and I'm loving the advice to not ascribe too much to what's on paper. My ex-husband was an INTJ and on paper that is suuuper compatible. That was not true for us at all.
Test says I'm an INFP, but in situations and moods feel like an ENFP, my bf is an ENFP and yeah, his communication goes crazy ways sometimes, but I like it. And I also have only some days where I need to recharge and these are mostly the days I spent without him. We can share our deepest thoughts and conversations and still have more talk about or to listen to. So yeah, it works fine for me.
I'm an INFP and I met an ENFP last year (neither knew the other's MBTI) and it was everything you could imagine a happily ever after, romantic comedy movie relationship could be. The point of him showing an overwhelming of emotion at the beginning and me kind of slow-burning into the emotions really stands out to me, as you mentioned. Because of how well we connected emotionally and intellectually (and being an infp, that rarely happens for me) I ended up head over heels and he did not feel the same way, despite initial promises. So yeah. Now knowing a little bit more about him since then, especially his personality type, that outcome makes sense. So if you're an ENFP and you're getting involved with an INFP, take his advice to heart. We're both pretty heartbroken about it and its been a year, because for both of us it was probably the most connected either of us had been in a long time.
Nikki M Ishak I really only find myself falling in love with ENFPs and I only picture them in my future. I'm currently in love with one I can't be with for...... Preference reasons. It's kinda hard. Yesterday I was saying I'm happy being in love and not getting anything but today I want him to be with me. It's really unfair because it's just so perfect in my head.
@@kbg12ila I relate to this completely! I think as INFPs we're just so used to picturing perfection that its hard to accept the reality. The thing that gets me thru is knowing for sure I love this person, am willing to do anything for him , etc. Its the type of love that doesn't need to be reciprocated for it to be real, and I'm happy to have that, even though its not that ideal I'm always dreaming about where he feels the same way. I want him to be happy in whatever he chooses to do and whoever he chooses to love
Nikki M Ishak I agree! And honestly with your situation I feel hope that it will end up being your way. In my situation it's an impossibility but there is still naive hope in my heart
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the nurture aspect. An INFP raised by extrovert parents for example are likely to need to find a way to function in their circle and might in enjoy it in the moment for as long as necessary but might crash the next day or spend the following weekend in bed and not tell anyone about it. The same can be applied in all social aspects later in life. All traits CAN be worked on over time although it’s no picnic getting to the end goal.
I didn't realize how uncharacteristic it was to want to be alone all the time until I learned about the 16 personality types. I'm an INFP and I can be extroverted when I want to be but I need to recharge and ground myself or I will burn out. I don't answer my phone and will freak the f out if anyone drops in to say hi on a whim without announcing themselves. I'm really hard to get a hold of if I'm not particularly into you but too available for people I hold space for that may or may not even deserve it. But it is what it is. Since learning about the personality types I have not met any other infps and wonder where they all are and then I realized they are at home by theirselves.... Who woulda thought!!!!
INFP girl here! Currently interested in learning more about an ENFP guy I really like. But I'm super shy and not sure what to think about whether or not he would like me if he got to know me. This video helped! Thank you!
hahaha, i'm also in an enfp / enfp relationship. we have found that being naturally passionate about the same things is the reason we work. its also how my friendship works with my 2 infp best friends! they are just a little more introverted, is all. if the values are similar, the personality types will over see this. however, my friendship with my close intp dude fascinates me. we couldn't be more different and it entertains us greatly. anyone know why that is?
My best friend is an INFP, and I fell in love with her but she ended up not reciprocating. It's interesting, because I tend to prefer a slightly more direct approach to relationships where we share everything with each other and have a deep bond that way, where she tends to want to escape and pretend like nothing is wrong, so she falls for people who barely know her and it causes problems. I guess she knows me too well. Maybe it's the inferior Te vs inferior Si at play? I'm not sure.
One thing about infps vs enfps is one is outcome oriented while the other is progression/movement. When I hang out with someone I like to have a general plan for instance in the summer I love hanging out on the lake in a giant 8 person floaty. When I make plans if I only plan to go on the lake that’s just what I want to do. I don’t wanna go floating then go to a party or go to someone’s house to chill compared to an enfp would probably love to go floating on the lake then continue to do what ever other random activity everyone comes up with. If someone invites me to do something last minute I will probably say no, but if they ask me a day or two before then I would say yes. An enfp would probably love if someone invited them to do something right then if they weren’t busy. As an Infp I can act pretty extroverted if I’m comfortable and also my extovertedness comes out in me making a lot of jokes.
I love the comment that you brought up regarding the "type of social situation" an introvert or extrovert may find themselves in that will demonstrate whether they're introverted or extroverted. I thought about this and I actually feel like it all comes down to social situations. For example, I'm an INFP. If I'm at a party, I'll usually get exhausted and find the party meaningless if all I'm doing at the party is trying to socialize. However, put me on the dance floor with strangers, and if we're all dancing with music blasting and having a good time, I'll begin to feel energized and would not hesitate to open up and meet new people. Same thing with traveling. If I'm in my own city, I often find myself to have introverted qualities. However, when I'm traveling to new places and destinations, it's like all of a sudden I become an extrovert and love to meet and open up to strangers. I think this has to do with an INFP's love for traveling and new experiences(Ne).
I’m an enfp. I think for any NF to feel understood in a relationship, another NF is the way to go. I get along best with other NFs in general. I find that overall, I’m mostly drawn to inf- types. Besides NFs, I also get along well with NTs! I guess it just depends on each person. Great video by the way!
Carl is INFP and Ellie is an ENFP in UP Disney's movie. Maybe it is a couple that could last forever 😍I am ENFP hehehe and yes, we like to get to know introverts but not as a challenge, they are intriging ( sorry English is not my first language) and we always like to cheer a downer 😁
I dated an INFP for 2 years, it was great, but hellish for me through the while, through myself i would live the relationship badly, and man i personnally (ENFP ofc) felt that she was sooo shy in our relationship even with me.
I think this pairing, for one, has a chance for a very very fulfilling relationship! I recently met someone through a mutual game that we played, a few weeks ago, and believe it or not, within a few weeks of talking, we have fallen so heads over heels for each other that we were planning to marry each other! Lol. So deeply understanding, emotionally connected and intense the relationship is, oh mannn. I've never connected with anyone before the way I have with him, it feels so so SO satisfying and most importantly, it feels so complete... Like we are two halves of a jigsaw puzzle able fit together perfectly, unlike my previous relationships, one of which was an ST type 🥴. He's definitely my soulmate, I have no doubt about that! We live so many miles apart, but I'd give anything in the world to have this man by my side for the rest of my life ❤️🥺 I'm working hard for a scholarship right now so that I can go for further studies abroad and finally meet him, then get married to him. 2 or 3 more years. Please pray for me :') He's an ENFP male and me an INFP female ❤️
I pray things are going well with you. Please keep us posted. My story is so similar to yours, thanks for giving me hope and further reassurance in our pairing :)
Im an ENFP n my sister is INFP..she likes to share some ideas about our countries, places n etc..i rlly like her idea..shes very observing but shes in depressed lately bcs of her friends she is always shy infront of her friends but when it comes to family she can be rude...maybe bcs shes keeping too much stress in school idk i need help i want her to be happy..idk how to help her..im hoping 4 some advice also my eng is not tht good im still learning😊
White Paws try to give her some time and give her some of fav foods and ask to traveling together.. im an enfp but i relate ao much, she seems overthinking a lot as like i usually unconciously do (but it reduce a lot now in me hhi), she cant manage her emotion and sometimes pop out as being mad to ur fams, i guess those are the best solution, and usually we overcome it by our self, i hope she is getting better.. take care as always
I'm an INFP myself , and I think that one of the most reason causing an INFP depression and stress is trying to match with the people and friends of you that are different from yourself and see you "weird " , so ..you start trying to be and act like the persons you love , to not being pushed away ! So just try to teach and tell her , loving herself as the way she is and stop trying to put herself under pressure to being like others for not being rejected. and also , i think it's about time 🤗 I don't know her age , but , by maturing and finding her true self , she can improve herself gradually , maybe she's at her sensitive age. and the other thing is , it takes time for an INFP to show her warm and crazy aspects to others . So it's not weird for an infp to being shy in front of others , she's extroverted and maybe "rud" just with the one that she truly is comfortable with , and not just anyone. ( sorry for by bad eng and long text , it's not my first language)
Interesting, I was just thinking an enfp would be very interesting to date. Infp can be very social in small groups as long as we are made to feel comfortable. In large groups we tend to just kind pretend we are invisible and it can overwhelming because to much stimulation will drain us very fast. Being introverted does not mean we are always quiet and shy, it just makes it harder to open up unless we feel a connection and we need time alone sometimes, especially after over stimulation. The problem in a rationship like this making sure we both stay grounded and practical, I think we would have a difficult time knowing when to stop flying and making sure our feet are in the ground. I think to have a strong connection with an ENFP would really be exhilarating and a lot of fun. The important thing in any relationship is having a healthy ego. The only type a healthy NFP might really struggle with is an STJ, and a healthy NFP would never even consider that, that would be like being with a narcissist, not that STJ is a narcissist but we need depth, emotion, and flexibility and it would be very unhealthy for us.
Do you utilize cognitive functions in your understanding of MBTI? I think people of all types can work but values matter and that some types (when values are compatible) are easier to be with than others. I would also be open to seeing an ENFP, sure we might share the same weaknesses but it might be nice to have someone who understands and to grow with. While this woman could easily be an INFP, at least a huge proportion of ENFPs mistype as INFPs because even stereotypically ENFPs tend to be some of the most introverted extroverts. INFPs can be outgoing and confident in certain environments which may make them seem ENFP-like.
Eu a admiro demais.
Had a ENFP crush, people told me he was into me but I never asked him, I didn't meet him for a year and now he has a gf :( ENFPs are just wonderful tho! Keep being you :)
@@alib4486 I'm an INFP and I find that interesting 🤨 I mean I'm not the jealous type and I would hate for my partner to feel forced to be with me, many other INFPs I've met feel the same. We hate feeling tied down or forced into situations or feeling controlled and we avoid all those situations at all costs, so we would never want another person to feel that way... I dint think I've ever met a controlling or overly jealous INFP... even if we feel jealous we would most likely not say anything or show it because it's an uncomfortable conversation to have lol
As a INFP male, I could quickly figure that this kind of pair are going to have lots of ultimate non-efficient decision and execution. It's good to strive for dream btw But both of them needs to be more honest deep talk actually, if not, the function of saying lots of irrelevant and unimportant things could really make the those complex minded people's relationship just stay in a very light level.
@@theorderlyman8042 they mean someone boring that just say you'll never realistically fulfill your dreams 😂. tbh that was what i've found with most ST and NT people lmao. their "groundness" is basically judge your decisions based on "practical life" but to me that's just an excuse to not support your partner. Of course if I as an ENFP have some crazy idea and it's completely undoable, at least the INFPs I have in my life they will tell me how it is cause they value honesty, while not bringing people down.
If you'd like the compatibility chart I mentioned, you can get it here: www.dreamsaroundtheworld.com/thrive/ (Usually this is a bonus for those who buy my book, so that's why a few emails reference my book).
Iam a INFP t witch I just found out & I still talk to my ex I brought it up he took the test he is a ENFP t we make way better friends then in a relationship
im an enfp and my bf a infp we love each other and fit SO well but that also goes bcs i dont like touch that much so i have to "recharge" from ppl touching me and he has to bcs of being around ppl lmao
Im an infp and myers briggs sais my "ideal" match would be an infj. I find the infj suuuuper borrrrrrriiiiiiing! I have an isfp friend with whom i find more of a connection than with any other mbti type.
I've a question m an enfp n my boyfriend is an infp .....so i asked him to keep our relation secret for a while cz of some traumas I've got in the past ...he seems he likes even before dating but m not sure now like he flirts n try to talk as much as possible with me but don't try to understand my insecurities....and the last time we were on call ... he was whit his freinds and i felt that he was making fun of me what disappointed me sm
I don't know why this is in my recommendation. And in my opinion Enfp and Infps are great as friends not as couples.Because infp needs someone logical and not very sensitive like they are ( ex. Intp,Entp,Entj,Intj or other feelers like Enfj/Infj better choice then Enfp) then only there would be growth in the relationship otherwise it's not going anywhere.I am an infp and I have never felt attraction towards enfp guys.Yes they are funny and quirky. But definitely not for me. Then again any relationship can work if both partners are mature and knows how to deal with the other. But personality plays a big role too.My top choice for Infps are : Enfj,Entp,Intp,Entj,Istp and Intj.I ship Intj and Enfps 😄.
I can recommend looking at your Vedic chart, ancient divine knowledge with yogas, karmas, doshas n more. My western zodiac is superficial and unrelateable 😉✨
Here's another video I JUST released on finding people in the crowd to form relationships with in the first place! ruclips.net/video/Mz3LQU3CUnQ/видео.html
Why the heck am I cursed with a feminine personality type "infp". It's mostly enfp guys with infp girls, well I guess I'm just destined to live life without a lover😔.
INFP male married to an ENFP woman for over 21 years now. *shrug* I wouldn't get too hung up on what seems to be the norm or the usual thing. I reckon if you can accept you for yourself, and just be the best you that is you, the right woman will come along. That's how it seemed to work for me.. we both had some mistake relationships before. Things weren't perfect and they still aren't; we really do face the usual INFP and ENFP challenges described in the video and all over the comments. But it still works. I say don't fret too much, man. Let this come to you and enjoy life.
INFP males are only feminine if they don’t own their wirings. If they double down on their tastes, they can create very masculine frames. My tip for INFPs to flow into more masculine frames is: 1) act as if everything in the universe is connected 2) give yourself permission to explore the irrational/be tricky/break promises/manipulate all with the intention to integrate all into an expanded reason. Go hard - stay soft!

INFPs are great actors, and great at reading a room. We will fool you into thinking that we are extroverted if you're not careful :-)
Trueeee
Correct
Yep.
John Moore I agree. I’m enfp. People are surprised when I don’t miss a beat. Except for my siblings. They know to not try to pull one on me.
infp here and yes this is true.
Awww
I've been searching a lot information if INFP and ENFP can be in healthy relationship so this helped me to believe so 😇
Where ever you are stay safe and have a nice day
Edit. This moment has long gone. Didn't work out
Are you still together?
I'm an ENFP and have an INFP boyfriend of almost four and a half years and I can tell you that for me the INFP is one of the most amazing personalities to be around, specially when they open up to you, and I totally get the responsibility of following through with your actions as an ENFP and also our relationship has been so smooth partly because we both avoid conflict but because we are great at communicating what's going on so when there's a problem it's fixed right away. To me he is the best person in the world!!
Sounds like you've found your match! :)
Do you talk much
Thank you for your input :))
totally feeling the same.
Can you update us about the relationship 😃
I'm intrigued to know
I'm an ENFP male dating an INFP female and it's really satisfying so far. She's been slow to open up but the more she does, the better it gets. The main thing holding us back is she's afraid I'm "too perfect to be true" - her words. But to me it's very encouraging because I have been myself and eventually she'll be convinced.
Good man.
OMG. As an INFP (dating an ENFP) I can relate to your girlfriend. Sometimes I'm afraid that he is too good to be true. And I wish we were more open. I'm having hard time openning and expressing emotions. He is shy so things are going slow for us. Are you guys still together?
Im an infp, and I think enfps are amazing. So that may be why she thinks you're perfect. Infps love enfps
same and I always told him thaat :(
Are you still too perfect to be true?
@@abbyhenderson595 Glad we're not the only ones 😂
I am an enfp who feels a connection with an infp. Her shyness and beauty make me feel shy too, which has caused me to hesitate in the past, but I also enjoy the anxiety as I have not felt this way in a long time. Hoo boy... She is definitely worth fighting for

Sounds so sweet! How do you manage with household activities?
May I ask you who confessed feelings first?

I have an INFP coworker. I love her, she's amazing (I'm ENFP) She's hilarious, vibrant, and blunt, she's the best I love working with her because she had this toughness to her, but she's sensitive and kind. And I would fight anyone who hurt her.
I'm an ENFP, my wife an INFP...the way I see it that makes us 75 % similar...I would HATE being paired with a total opposite like an ISTJ.
My partner is ISTJ and let me tell you... Is a struggle. He too logical, we lack that emotional connection.
We have been married for 5 years and we are so happy together :)
On paper it might not seem like a good match because you won't be able to implement as easy as with an TJ but who says that is the goal! We have such a great life we travel the world and we are both open to endless possibilities! We can both adventurous, but then love to sit for 6 hours in a coffee shop and talk deep. Its amazing and I recommend t to everyone :D
This is my experience exactly. Married 2 years now, still excited to spend my days with him.
Yes. I agree. Enfp female married to infp male 10 years. But with kids, the lack of the TJ functions can be frustrating! We both struggle to pull it off together and it goes against our nature. It's also hard when I get down and I need him to be a bolder decision maker.
ENFP here - i’ve been in a relationship with an INFP for 4 years & last year we got married
Can’t say the dynamic between all ENFP’s/INFP’s is the same but I have found this pairing to be very fulfilling & healthy, both of us can honestly say neither has met another person who understands the other so well
From a relationship perspective there a lot of implicit trust / loyalty between us... we openly communicate about our innermost feelings / emotions regularly without it getting weird... can easily cheer the other up & offer support where needed... can always see where the other person is coming from if we are having an argument (which tends to be a rare occurrence anyway)... both have the same love for animals which is probably why we have taken it upon ourselves to adopt a few strays
This is quite a stark difference to some of my past relationships with “S” types... those weren’t so harmonious 😂
Problem areas in the ENFP/INFP combo I’ve found is the E/I split. I often want to go out in the world and try/do fun experiences like rock climbing, snowboarding, travelling to a far off destination etc, where as my INFP would be more than content to simply stay inside & read an endless supply of books whilst surrounded by our pets
To this end I’ve learnt to occasionally give my partner personal space to deflate & decompress from the world, whilst they agree to come of out their comfort zone once in a while & join in on some adventures
This happened to me🥺
Thank you for the great story!
As ENFP how can you process loosing a pet? I really consider getting new pets because of this.
- a curious INFP
Im so happy for you❤❤❤💛💛💛💛👏👏👏👏👏
My boyfriend (INFP) fell in love with me, thought we’d be perfect together. I (ENFP) wasn’t attracted to him, but agreed we’d be good for each other. We were close friends for a while, but he kept trying. Then he pulled away and it kinda shocked me to realize I wanted to be with him.

@@yan89805how it's going after a year?

Mee too
I just love how ENFPs have so many fixations/hobbies, they really expand my horizons and have the utmost faith in me
honestly as an INFP i feel like dating an ENFP can be exhausting sometimes. ENFPs need constant stimulation and contact and they can get clingy. i've found that all the ENFPs i tried dating got overwhelmed and anxious because of my constant need for alone time, and they thought there was something wrong with them when really as an INFP i like to have some distance sometimes. they also got frustrated if i didn't go along with all their crazy impulsive ideas/schemes (even though INFPs are intuitives and have Ne, i feel like i act quite carefully with decisions and plans, even with spontaneous ones). never worked out in romance for me
Lol. What you described sounds like when I dealt with an INFJ. I'm an INFP but their lone time is ridiculous even for me.
I’m an ENFP, and I’ve tried to think of I’m being clingy, but INFP don’t communicate, and take too much “alone time”. You gotta have more perspective.
I am a INFP with a INFP..... and it works wonderfully!
Nikki M Ishak Are you together??
@@kbg12ila we are not, we've managed to stay friends but its a situation I regret and would caution people with these personality types to avoid
Who woulda thought!!!!

hahaha, i'm also in an enfp / enfp relationship. we have found that being naturally passionate about the same things is the reason we work. its also how my friendship works with my 2 infp best friends! they are just a little more introverted, is all. if the values are similar, the personality types will over see this.
however, my friendship with my close intp dude fascinates me. we couldn't be more different and it entertains us greatly. anyone know why that is?

You are absolutely intoxicating to us.❤
My best friend is an INFP, and I fell in love with her but she ended up not reciprocating.
That's a really interesting insight. I'd be lying if I said I didn't notice similar behaviour in other infps.
As an Infp I can act pretty extroverted if I’m comfortable and also my extovertedness comes out in me making a lot of jokes.
i'm an infp and my gf is enfp but i feel like our relationship isn't as smooth as what i see in the comments section ^^;
I wish the best of luck for you☺️
I love the comment that you brought up regarding the "type of social situation" an introvert or extrovert may find themselves in that will demonstrate whether they're introverted or extroverted.
Great video by the way!
totally agree here!

I dated an INFP for 2 years, it was great, but hellish for me through the while, through myself i would live the relationship badly, and man i personnally (ENFP ofc) felt that she was sooo shy in our relationship even with me.
Yup...
Enfp with ENFP is the best relationship ever! I loved it and I miss him. He moved away
Please pray for me :')
He's an ENFP male and me an INFP female ❤️
So just try to teach and tell her , loving herself as the way she is and stop trying to put herself under pressure to being like others for not being rejected.
and also , i think it's about time 🤗
I don't know her age , but , by maturing and finding her true self , she can improve herself gradually , maybe she's at her sensitive age.
and the other thing is , it takes time for an INFP to show her warm and crazy aspects to others .
The only type a healthy NFP might really struggle with is an STJ, and a healthy NFP would never even consider that, that would be like being with a narcissist, not that STJ is a narcissist but we need depth, emotion, and flexibility and it would be very unhealthy for us.
as ENFPs, how can we not overthink something 😄
Do you utilize cognitive functions in your understanding of MBTI? I think people of all types can work but values matter and that some types (when values are compatible) are easier to be with than others. I would also be open to seeing an ENFP, sure we might share the same weaknesses but it might be nice to have someone who understands and to grow with. While this woman could easily be an INFP, at least a huge proportion of ENFPs mistype as INFPs because even stereotypically ENFPs tend to be some of the most introverted extroverts. INFPs can be outgoing and confident in certain environments which may make them seem ENFP-like.
My brother is an ENFP and I’m an INFP. We revert back to kids playing when we’re alone 😂
Eu a admiro demais.
I’m an ENFP and my best friend is an INFP. It honestly makes so much sense that we’re such close friends!
ENFPs and ENFPs is recommended
Amen!
PlayCreatively seriously, I think that would create a tornado in the house😂😂.

@brandotendie same!
Had a ENFP crush, people told me he was into me but I never asked him, I didn't meet him for a year and now he has a gf :(
ENFPs are just wonderful tho! Keep being you :)
I am an ENFP. my two best friends are actually INFPs and I am currently contemplating dating an INFP. we will see how things go ;)
So how it's going?
I love how crazy enfps are :)
Are there INFPs who love to party? I can party for 4-5 hours if time will allow
Avoid jealous partners.
RunReilly I’m an enfp girl, and my ex was an infp male. He was super jealous and controlling :/ his shadow functions coming out
@@alib4486 I'm an INFP and I find that interesting 🤨 I mean I'm not the jealous type and I would hate for my partner to feel forced to be with me, many other INFPs I've met feel the same.

Enfp and infp are best
As a couple or just overall the best humans on earth? :p
I'm an enfp (girl) n currently in enfp-infp relationship for almost 2 years now. Even its hard sometime but things are great until today♥️.
Glad to hear that!
ENFP’s need someone who is grounded. They won’t find that with an INFP
@@TheLoughDuck55 totally agree
What do you guys mean by grounded? Lol I’m an INFP and I’ll say I’m more grounded than almost everyone I know
@@theorderlyman8042 they mean someone boring that just say you'll never realistically fulfill your dreams 😂. tbh that was what i've found with most ST and NT people lmao. their "groundness" is basically judge your decisions based on "practical life" but to me that's just an excuse to not support your partner. Of course if I as an ENFP have some crazy idea and it's completely undoable, at least the INFPs I have in my life they will tell me how it is cause they value honesty, while not bringing people down.

I need an ENFP. Now.
And you don't know why this was recommended... 🤔😂
@@enfp no.I am only interested in me.So I don't know why RUclips is suggesting other people.

I can recommend looking at your Vedic chart, ancient divine knowledge with yogas, karmas, doshas n more. My western zodiac is superficial and unrelateable 😉✨

This is not an issue about you being infp, it's probably an issue about your self confidence
Stop hanging out with "S" types, especially SxJ's.

I read somewhere about ENFP perfect match with an INTJ, what do you think?
KR
+Ali Alderete it really depends on the person. I imagine it could work well buy depends on what you want from a partner as well.
I have dated INTJs, they are critical and stifling. They always try to change me. I like ENFPs better.
@@lexiemaep7930 yes! Thank you for putting it into words. 😊

Why the heck am I cursed with a feminine personality type "infp". It's mostly enfp guys with infp girls, well I guess I'm just destined to live life without a lover😔.
Mostly means that there's a chance!
This is the most infp thing I ever heard loool
INFP male married to an ENFP woman for over 21 years now. *shrug* I wouldn't get too hung up on what seems to be the norm or the usual thing. I reckon if you can accept you for yourself, and just be the best you that is you, the right woman will come along. That's how it seemed to work for me.. we both had some mistake relationships before. Things weren't perfect and they still aren't; we really do face the usual INFP and ENFP challenges described in the video and all over the comments. But it still works. I say don't fret too much, man. Let this come to you and enjoy life.
@@lolalina_ I remember thinking a lot like this.. I still do. I'm grateful to have an ENFP to get me unstuck out of my ruts in life.
INFP males are only feminine if they don’t own their wirings. If they double down on their tastes, they can create very masculine frames.
My tip for INFPs to flow into more masculine frames is:
1) act as if everything in the universe is connected
2) give yourself permission to explore the irrational/be tricky/break promises/manipulate all with the intention to integrate all into an expanded reason.
Go hard - stay soft!
