Amazing work, seen a lot of your videos and love your style, your skin tones are friggin amazing, I bought the fairy flesh set, but jeez I can't blend them like you do master 😂
Duuude! Thanks so much for this video! My new Anycubic PM X 6k is coming tomorrow so will ramp up my printing on both my sla machines. MJ was at the top of the list for so long and somehow I kept putting her off! Can hardly wait now!
@@Groundeffected Thanks for the tip. Printed Megha's Wonder Woman Bust hair today and it too had some fine strands, which I, sadly, managed to break off on one side. Clumsy me, haha. Hopefully, I'll be able to fix it while the other side is still in place...
🤯👏🤣 Wow 🎉I can't believe you used a fine tipped brush to paint the lines on the Spider-Man mask 😅 I figured that a micro point pen would be far easier 🤜🔥🤛 Outstanding work 👏
Brilliant Video and model. Just some info on the Nocturna paints you use, They were commissioned by the figure company Nocturna who produced a range of fairy and elf figures a few years ago , Two sets were produced ,Paints were indeed Vallejo , I have the other set which have an ice queen flesh vibe.
Yea I heard @ninjon talking talking about it before it does worry me how difficult it is becoming to find the sets now though. Wonder if they stopped producing it?
She looks fantastic! I make my own custom skin tones but I must have about 20 different 'flesh' colours in my paint collection at this point, every tone from red leather to iraqi sand :)
I don’t have time for any of that it’s just so much faster to have a pre set paint you go to for someone like me. I’m trying to produce content as often as possible and it makes it really difficult if I have to try explain to people how to do that when most people struggle with a set already made for them.
Great job, Brent! I haven't even seen the Velvet skin set but you did an excellent job with it. I'm not too familiar with Scale75 basically for the same reason you talked about in the video. You and I have polar opposite methods of painting. I work light to dark but I think both methods end up with cool looking models. All in all, I'll probably still stick with my Vallejo flesh tones but this was a great show of the Scale75 velvet paints. Can't wait for the next one!! Oh, also, you said Megha's name right 😊 I'm very good friends with him.
@@Groundeffected oh that's no bueno. I do a lot of hand painting, but I want my paints to be able to be airbrushed as well. No point in having single use paints unless you're going to be hand painting everything.
@@vinyltheworld4092 for sure duder. I always ask cause of how the paint behaves. I got a set from 75 that behaved much differently than I'm use to coverage wise and I myself have had trouble motivating myself to learn how to go back and forth between paints I'm more comfortable with in that respect. Nahm sayin?
Hi, thank you for your videos. im very much inspired to paint. what kind of varnish did you use? and what is the material you applied here 7:44 ? thank you
It’s really depends mj was a simple character. So she took about 8 hrs to paint. Maybe 4 hrs of prep and 3/4hrs to support the model and only a day to print. Total time from download to model is like 2 days roughly. But spiderwoman was more like 2 weeks total time maybe 3 with the prep and supporting the models for print etc.
This channel deserves more subscribers
Ah thanks dude. Appreciate it
I'm a new subscriber learning to paint, your video is very useful

Sooo cool!!! whats that green rubbery mask you painted on? it looks like its game changing to painting!
It’s Vallejo liquid mask! Look back to one of my first few videos I’ve done a video about it.
Perfect like always. Great job.
Thanks 🙏
Fabulous work as usual. I will get back to some more painting soon after I finish the guitar and yard work.
Fob ff the yard work. Just go paint haha
Amazing work, seen a lot of your videos and love your style, your skin tones are friggin amazing, I bought the fairy flesh set, but jeez I can't blend them like you do master 😂
Trick is to thin them down a lot! Like real thin almost 50/50 and layer them
Great video man! Will you ever do tutorials for dark/black skin tones? Would love to see your take on it :)
Yea dude. Here’s one I did a while back. ruclips.net/video/RWHHGhh4kgQ/видео.html

Sweet good luck dude she’s fairy easy to paint. Careful of her hair there’s some thin pieces.

@@Groundeffected I always wonder, how much resin does it take to print those 1/6 statues? Just an aprox, like 1, 2 bottles of 0.5kg resin?
@@andredupont7598 this one is like half a bottle.

I don’t have a printer so how can I get some sculptures to buy
I really want to paint these statues where can I purchase them?
@@mikemilana5329 etsy has people that sell 3d printed figures and shit
next time use google
what do you use for masking?
In this I used Vallejo liquid mask
bang..... thats good stuff
So do you recommend the set?

So what’s the final verdict on the skin set? Are you sticking with Fairy Flesh set?
I think I may stick with fairy set but I see potential to mix them up a bit.
wicked video bruv
Thanks my dude.
good stuff thanks !
Thank you for watching.
WOW Impressive!!!
Love it
Amazing vídeo 👏👏👏
Thank you very much.
I've been debating on this model for a while I've got 3 other MJ pieces what do u think
Do they all can never have enough mj statues.
Damn tasty toast yet again! 10/10
The toast got fully toasted.
Nice!
Thanks.
Another great one! You like to velvet skin?
It’s ok. It’s a nice tone but it was rough to get started it just doesn’t cover very well think I’m going to try it on white or grey next and see

I'm always worried about how to hold the figures while painting and you just use your fingers lol
