What is your favorite part of this beautiful piece? Mine is the tremolos at 1:47, reminds me of Oscar Peterson’s Hymn To Freedom. Sheet music trivia (first to answer correctly gets PDF): This is the eighth piano blues transcription I’ve published on my channel. Can you name the other seven?

Great job, Timothy! I believe Henry Butler was one of the best pianists in American history and deserves more attention... I've always been in love with this blues song without words released on the "Blues After Sunset" album (which actually released in 1998, aside from re-release) and any part of this is my favorite...

omg the intro to this video totally sounds like the Boondocks flute theme 😂
Listening while I source for candidates.
During the opening line I hear some "Just let them talk"- hugh laurie sounding stuff. Excellent playing!

This is fantastic! Great work. I’m wondering if you’ve thought about transcribing the Henry Butler jazz piece “Samba C” from his album Blues and More: Volume One. Have a nice day. 😊

In measure number 5 how do you play the 1st bass note? The chord is E♭, D♭, G. @Timothy Gondola Is it possible to play this note with 1 hand?

Pianists with large hands can reach this. Otherwise, just roll it.
