Thank you for doing a review the Oupes 2400. I’m currently in the market for something that would at least keep my refrigerator running. After the hurricane last year our generator was running so much that it is no longer working. As always great information on your channel.
Yay! I get to listen to another Fantastic GREYMAN Review. 2400 will work in a pinch for black outs. Yes expansion would be great. But, something is better than nothing. Can be useful for many things.
Perfect! My deep freezer pulls little wattage and on my own personal test with another unit got roughly 2 days out it and this freezer is in my hot Florida garage lol 😆
You are the review King! You do a great job to show and explain. I certainly could use one like that when the power goes out. My freezer is loaded… I would use it for that. Having it connected and it kick on would be tremendous! It is a bit heavy for me, but my hubby could handle it.
I really appreciate the feedback Sharon, it really helps me know if im doing a good enough job in informing people about the products I'm reviewing. Thank you 🙏💛
Thank you for the information on this product. It is helpful seeing an independent review to see honesty on capabilities. I need to save up for something soon especially when we have several tornadoes yearly and harsh winters.
I was looking at the 2400 last week. I've been so busy that I never had time to get back to checking it out, so thanks for the review. I just sent my son a big check for his wedding so I need to decide if I can swing spending the money, as the wedding expenses aren't done.😬 I really want this 2400.😄👍
I bought oupes 2400 and haven't had power outage since. For just in case it ran 10.7 chest freezer for 35 hours and when I stop it was at 20% power left.
Enjoyed the review. I own the oupes 1800. And I love it, been camping a couple of times with it last summer and it was amazing. Did everything I wanted it to do. I solar charged it with a 3rd party solar panel.
Looks like something I could use just out of my price range right now. I had ordered the Bluetti EB3A 699w/268wh with the 200w solar kit and hit a snafu. Placed the order in the wrong payment method I wanted to use, placed a second order with the right payment method, called them to cancel the first order and they cancelled them both🤦♀️. Great review GM!
Hopefully they'll get you fixed up, that was a great price for that unit. The bigger they get the heftier the price for sure. I was watching AP's review of the Mega unit and love it but $4000+ is a big number 🤯 Thanks so much for stopping by 😁🙏
Yeah I figured I'd try to get a bit more technical with them, makes the video a bit longer, but figured the information would help some folks out. Thanks for the visit brother 😁🤘
I was seriously considering getting the Oupes 2400 recently but went with the pecron e2000 for a bit cheaper and the extended warranty. Great review sir, I still intend on getting one in the future.
I STILL, after 2 years of looking at these things, haven't made up my mind...Opeus & Echo Flow are my favorites so far. I lose power often, and I use my duel fuel generator only because I NEED AC,{Florida} & the rest of my appliances... With 91 year old Parents who forget to close the door, it's important to not kill the battery in 5 minutes! This would be great for winter, or SHTF once I'm unable to get fuel... Ugh! My mind spins! 🥴
I hear ya dragon, the heat this year has been brutal. These work great as an addition to your gas powered generator. You could run these at night and charge them during the day via solar or your genie. Just food for thought lol 😆 👍
@@littleloneprepper4820 Hey there my friend! Yes, we are ok... My Dad fell over a chain and broke 2 ribs. He's coming along, but it's slow! I've missed you my friend! I hope all is well with you!
@@GreyManPrepping My AC system is 5 ton for the main house, then a two and half ton for the 2 bedrooms I need. I've got one smaller room with a simple wall unit I had put in about 5yrs ago, so I could use ONLY that room, but I'd need a bunch of batteries to make it work all night... I'm not getting rain at all this year. Usually by now it rains at least once a day... We had one small 5 minute sun shower and that's it! Solar Cycle 25 is killing me... Or is it 26? Ugh! 🥴
No I don't have a Oupes but do have a Goal Zero, if I do experience a long term power outage that I can used that to power my freezer or just use a generator to keep my appliances going. I feel a expandable options are very important feature for Power Station.
I would definitely use this one for powering some of my appliances. But I think I would need multiple units to power AC, CPAP and other things. The price on this one seems pretty good at the sale price. The weight is a drawback for me though. Thanks Grey.
I tried to draw power for an ecoflow delta 2 from my main solar setup 24x135hr batteries 3000w inverter..it killed the batteries in 5mins...il not do that again...
I was all set to buy a generator on Amazon Prime days. I put it in my cart. I waited a few hours to think about it, went back to pay for it, and the price went up $400!😢 I feel like I'm never going to get one
Me too! I've been looking at these for over 2 years, but living in Florida, I've got to have A\C for my 91yr old parents... They couldn't handle the heat without it. For the price of a great 2400wh Solar System, I bought 2 12000wh dual fuel Generators and they power EVERYTHING including a 5ton AC system... Whole House Solar with back up batteries is an option, but I don't have debt, and I'm trying NOT to take any!! Also, Hurricanes do take out roof solar panels!! All that to say, I feel your pain!
I would just keep an eye out for sales, black Friday I hear that they are going to be some great deals. I'll probably do something to let folks know around that time. In regards to gas/duel fuel genies I have 2 myself. As with everything it has it's pros and cons. Hurricanes disrupt a lot of things and the 2 mile lines at gas stations are not fun. Whichever direction you go in, make sure you find what works best for you and your situation. 😁👍
That would be cool! Funny enough I have a unit I'm working on right now that actually has a rack with wheels to move it around. Coming soon 🤣 Luv ya Jan 💛 God bless

The room generally stays cool for a couple hours after so for the room that I use it in it works.
