Hi Owen and Michelle - Thanks for the comment! There are numerous factory grommets throughout the vehicle with space to run extra cables including in the rear wall. In some cases we also fit out own grommets if we require larger cabling that will not fit in the factory grommets.
Thanks for your comment! Yes, We made up a Marine Grade plywood board to mount all components onto! The rear walls are quite ribbed so using this method gives you a flat surface to work with.
Hey mate love your videos and the look and quality of the redarc products the down fall I see is the manager30 only has 30 amp charging and the redivision only accepts 40 amps. Now I’d love your advice , I’d like to have maybe about 400ah in my tow vehicle and then maybe another 400 in the van for total off grid living and I feel I’d properly want to use the 1250 bcdc chargers which I do t believe I could use with the redvision which is a shame.
ruclips.net/video/Wxx3xR59a3A/видео.html Thanks for the comment! Have a look at our updated 79 Series Video! In the canopy we run 2x 1250D + A Manager 30 which allows us to charge our Lithium Battery at 130ah with an upgraded Alternator! We can certainly integrate all these chargers to work together!
We custom designed and built the board to suit. If you would like more specifics on the install it is best to call our workshop direct on 1300 227 353 or email info@amae.net.au
With lithium getting smaller, lighter and more powerful do you think this type of set up will be a thing of the past and power banks with everything built-in will become more popular? I like the idea of a portable system more than built-in
Everyone has their own preferences, some travellers prefer portablility, some prefer everything to be contained out of sight, others want the biggest system they can possibly fit. We see just about everything in our workshop.
I plan on having a dual setup. A baintech 150ah behind the back seats with the BCDC charging it and a couple of outlets on the back of the dog box that I can charge a projecta powerhub off of and run a second fridge/freezer. That way the car has dedicated aux power and fridge and I can have a portable power box and second fridge in the tent.
Really like the mounting of the Redvision panel. Never thought about putting it up there.

Thanks for your comment!
If you have your fuse block mounted in the cab rather than in the canopy, how you you physically run all the cable out of the cab?

Are those components bolted directly to the rear cab wall or is there a mounting board installed? Sorry, I can’t see clearly enough… 🤓
