- YUCK! Belle doesn't like grass. Saly is getting thin. She has to eat a lot. I do everything I can to make her grow. Tips are welcome.

Watching Risey today, I was just thinking about how happy I am that you chose to give him more time, Yvonne. He is gorgeous and such a sweetheart! It makes my heart glad to see him doing well. 💫❤
Saly always gets a bit skinny when she has a foal to feed so I hope the grass and extra pellets and slurry work. Rising Star and Yfke are in competition for getting the most cuddles and attention from Yvonne and I loved seeing Silke, Vera, Daisy and Puck hitting the road, thank you Mathilde ❤

Back to the pasture. As Yvonne said blue skies, green grass and beautiful horses. As a prey animal a horses eye sight and hearing are first rate. Except when being called in. Please give Risey a hug and scratch for me. 🐎😊

@@celleduffel1533 I think all the horses have been stressed since Coralla showed up and is nasty to everybody always pinning her ears and now “ possibly “ biting Saly in the behind. We all know what negative beings around us do to our well being
@@kdown3660 I know they have to bully to be top dog but still I hate seeing it in any animal or human. I have a young doxie and he is trying to bully and show he is top dog and I told my vet it aint happening or I will whip his butt lol..so each time he acts like he is top anything, he get put in his pin and stays there for an hour..my vet says my poor older dog is stressed and Kai will not be allowed to bully his "brother".
Saly always gets a little thin after giving birth, and a late start to getting into the pasture probably hasn't helped this year. Coralle is probably bullying a bit still but once the novelty of the grass wears off and Bella becomes a bit more independent things will settle - if she was completely aggressive to Saly they would be constantly fighting in their stalls, bars be damned. Also, once Reintjie and her foal join the group that will balance things out more.
Risey is in a touch me not mood, Yfke and Reintje are so beautiful. I like Shiney’s new plaid blanket. The girls, carts, and ponies. Does Saly have slobber on her nose, she is so beautiful. Happy Sunday to all the herd!!! The horses back in the pasture is awesome. Belle willlearn to like her veggies!!!!

Without Queen Uniek to walk them in and out, they don’t follow as well. Coralle is bossy, but she’s not the leader yet. Maybe later in the summer. I’m still eager to see Risey and Yfje become friends! I suspect when Reintje delivers? How fun to see Silke and Vera drive the carts! Praying Saly is okay. I agree. Pasture days are wonderful!

Beautiful scene, lush grass, blue skies and mares and foals in the Pasture. I am not pleased with the bite marks on Sally. I hope Coralle will settle down soon and not be mean. Blomke and Bella Uniek are so sweet. Rising Star is so good too. Yfke and Reijente lovely to see them together in the arena. Any day now, we will have a new baby. I was surprised to see Daisy so good in the cart. She has learned well. I think it was Puck in the other cart also doing well. 🙏🌠⭐️🍀🇨🇦

It's just horses being horses she's the new queen of the herd now, and Sally and the other horses just have to get used to that sort of thing. It's just how they sort themselves out in a biting nipping kicking order that's all.

....Stal Horjus does not, as yet, have a grooming station, so that there is neither warm, running water, nor a suitable spot at which to shampoo them....soon, it all takes time...and much money!

Yvonne thought about putting Spidey out with Risey, but the little shorty would probably be able to get under the wire.

Is Puck named from the play, A Midsummer's Night Dream? It's an unusual name, and I always remember that play, also made into a movie. All the horses look great to me, Risey looks wonderful!

Saly also looks skinny because she doesn't have much muscle. That is, more exercise 💪
Maybe more lunging, with the strings?
SALY has been very well trained, but has only been breeding, so maybe can use a year off from that???
Just a thought....
It may also help if you (Yvonne) leave it empty after this foal.
Saly should rest and recover before another foal (or nature will do it for you, and that may not be a good thing).

It may be stressful for Sally to be stalled next to Correlle. Put a stall or two in between them. This may help to put weight on Sally too.

Yvonne, you are right. This year is very special, a lot of heavy rain and flooding. A few days are very warm, and immediately there are strong storms again. At least here in Germany. It's good to see the green pastures with the horses.

Here in Britain the same. So far, we had 2 or 3 very hot days in late June then the temps dropped again. Today is some bright sunshine but only 15°, & also thundery showers.

Hope Saly is ok and that there are no underlying issues. You're on top of it, so you're doing what you can. Yes, it's good to see the pasture again; it's quite soothing.

Good morning! What a great way to start the day!
I had an off track Thoroughbred mare who had a hard time keeping weight on. In addition to her pellets, I added soaked shredded beet pulp and canola oil. For her, it worked well.

If Coralle is so dominat and hearting I would prefer to put Reintje and Yfke with Saly and Blomke together more eating Gras and besides Coralle nearly alone eating with Belle to build heard feeling together again and maybe Risey is possible to go with them once as good boy knowing with experienced mares very well each other and caring for all foals as friend too
But this was filmed in early May. Reintje has now had her foal (not seen yet), so she's probably not going to be ready to take it into the pasture yet with the others. Coralle's becoming a real problem if she's going to attack & hurt Saly - or any other horse - perhaps the grazing area could be sub-divided to restrict Coralle to a smaller area?
Or perhaps with 2 months having passed, it's quietened down & all is well, I hope so. Thank you for another lovely video Yvonne

Sweet Saly is giving everything to her baby girl ensuring she grows up healthy & strong that’s what mems are supposed to do but luckily she has one of the very best humans in the world looking out for her and she’ll be fit in no time. Ah I could listen to eques eat for hours it’s scenes like this that I loved most about the Stal G videos way back when and I’m so happy that we’re getting more of them at Yvonne’s very own stable,it’s a beautiful sight to finally see her long time dream come to fruition complete with babies especially Uniek’s Princess I just wish Nieky was there to experience this as well forever in our hearts.👑🥺🐎🌈🪽🩷
