@@JMarieCAlove I'm fully aware they are wild animals but over the centuries it has become harder for any wild animal to survive with the increasing human population encroaching on habitats , cars pollution, endless litter, cruelty, poisons the list is endless - so for any person to take time out just to throw something down for them to eat, just to make it a little easier is a good thing..

I used to live in North London near Parkland Walk, which had both a good fox and bat population. Sometimes a fox mother would stash her kits in the overgrown corners of my garden. She moved the kits during the night, but then spent the days hunting for food..
The poor thing worked SO hard trying to find food, and moving her kits about.
I asked the RSPCA what would be safe to leave for food. They said tinned dog food was okay.
I didn't think it looked all that appealing.
I really wish I'd had the intelligence to do what you did.
Foxes are beautiful and funny. Utterly endearing.
I used to watch them playing with all the local cats. I'd see them chasing each other about on the quite streets at 5am.

Thank you for providing the foxes with a bountiful spread. I don’t know how they survive in my area. All the farmlands have been sold and there are houses on top of houses with heavy traffic. They are such a beautiful animal.
It’s our pleasure, they are such magnificent animals. It’s the same sad situation where we live, all their natural habitat has been destroyed so we support and help them as we can. 🙏🏻

You ought to watch Debs the crazy fox lady on youtube. She has been feeding foxes for 20 years. At the moment she is feeding around 9 or 10 foxes every night with raw chicken, cooked chicken, eggs, and tiny squares of sandwich with jam. Dog treats. They all have names as well. One fox had a family and it was taking 2kg of chicken wings a night. She is lovely. Please give her some support. Uk as well.
Yes, I watch her. She raised two young ones that had to go to a shelter recently, she was very said about it.

Yes they are so smart and cute. As we understood there is a mama fox and her 3 pups, they all look like learning from mum about behaviour and moves she does, there is one pup he looked very orange, his fur is the brightest, so we think whole pack is protecting him and he always homes and showed from the bushes last. Maybe family knows that he has bright fur, more attractive look so they taking food and bringing to him. We see how pups are actually getting bigger and growing after we start feeding them with chicken on a daily basis. They didn’t come couple days after a big treat, also it was a heavy rain, but they came on next day. We want to try to pet them and touch one day, if they let us, they are so cute. ☺️

@@BearandElfFilms We used to have a breeding pair of red foxes in the canyon near our home. They left due to development, but we heard recently that another was spotted further up the canyon a few months ago. They are sweet little neighbors.

Please remember to place a bowl of water too. Foxes love berries!! The eggs MUST be cooked. Raw egg white will bind with Vit B7 Biotin in their bodies and create a deficiency (lose hair), so always hard boil or soft boil the eggs.

I would hide worm medicine in the food also. I had to deworm my cat once a month in the summer when he ate mice even he got as much fresh meat and kibble as he wanted.

I know! They were a bit apprehensive at first but once they realised it was treats they couldn’t stop eating!
That's so interesting how they take the food then run rather than eat it right there. Its as if they are thinking the food is a set up or trap but they keep coming back to it 😂 they're adorable.

A farmer once described the fox as a 'gentleman', meaning he only takes one chicken but does not kill the entire flock needlessly as the pine martin does. This seems to verify that observation.
I hope he keeps leaving the food basket ;) the foxes will get to know him, they smell his scent ;)

Try as much as possible to feed foxes at night so that they are safer, they can sleep in the day etc. I guess if they are out in the day it means they’re struggling to find food but try to rotate it towards night time if you can ❤
@@rebekahsalt26 they come same time daily around 8.30-9pm. That video was filmed about 9pm, it was very bright outside that time of the year in June in London.

Thank you for feeding the foxes. You wouldnt go to the supermarket just to get only a chicken drum stick. Sure you will get plenty meat and apples and pears.

Except the foxes can’t tell the diff between humans who will/won’t hurt them, so this is unwise. They can’t tell the difference between a basket of poisoned food or not. Maybe better to just leave them alone and donate to a wildlife rescue.
This fox has fur infection, next time put a bowl with jam mixed with antibiotics to get him healed. He will thank you. We thank you for your generosity.

Where i live there re also lots of bunnies and hares, so i guess foxes will be all right. Although there re way more bunnies than foxes

Foxes like butter cookies, berries, poultry, legs of ham, crunchy flesh bones to keep teeth and gums in healthy conditions. Bowl of fresh water to drink. Also give them yummy duck jerky. 🦋❤🦊
