I felt an immediate "release" of some tension/discomfort on the left lateral side of my lower back during the extension with left side rotation test. Very nice video.

Thank you very much for these exercises. It worked for me immediately. I work many hours on the computer every day. It's very difficult for me to extend my neck. After 20 repetitions my neck feels so soft! I would like to ask if there is an eye exercise that improves the rotation or the side bend of the body/neck or both of them.

Very happy to hear that you had a good result. They can be remarkably helpful for neck issues. With regards to side-bending, the visual system definitely is involved but there are no "general" exercises that we can easily recommend as it's a bit more complicated. One thing you can try is to perform the same exercises on this video but with your head and neck "pre-set" into a slight lateral bend. You may find that either convergence or divergence work in that position improves the lateral bending movement. Good luck!

Thank you very much for the answer. I am very curious to try what you have me suggested. I will give you a feedback.

Thank you for generously sharing this information. Can these exercises help with spinal stenosis? Or, do you have any you recommend for this condition?

In my chiropractic office, I test my patients during their first visit examination eyes open/eyes closed. Do you thinks it's sufficient to uncover neuro-muscular pain related to convergence/divergence issues ? Thanks for the informations on the F/E° patterns ;)

Great question. While eyes open/closed may help with some differentiation of issues it probably is not fully sufficient for looking at convergence/divergence issues. I would recommend that you incorporate these into your exams. Glad you found the F/E info helpful!
