It’s a beautiful holiday hauler.
Great demonstration !
I have the same truck on order I will pick it up sometime in January, I'm trading in my srw 3500 we have been thinking about getting a Vanleigh Beacon 5th wheel in the future.
Nice pickup acceleration
On my Silverado Dooley the sticker on the door says 70PSI front 60PSI rear.. So the question is is there a sticker on the door that tells you what your PSI should be?
Yes, my tires are within the specs
Why would you ruin your mpg by using a lower rear end you’ll never need? You have PLENTY of torque for 37’s and will also cut into your fuel efficiency.
I agree but I just like the idea of not changing the gear too drastically 👍🏾
Nice video. I was curious if I should have ordered my new truck with the diesel for improved fuel economy while not towing(only tow about 35-40 times a year) but after seeing this video it will absolutely be more economical with the gas engine. FYI, if the truck is running the transmission fluid is moving. If your fluid isn't moving you've got serious problems! The heat comes from the truck not moving and therefore the air isn't flowing over the transmission cooler.
Diesel = more torque, better longevity, slightly higher mpg, more expensive.
Gas = easier to find, higher cost per mile (gas again more expensive than Diesel with less mpg)
@@Tallnerdyguy Nope. Diesel is $.70-.80 cents a gallon more than gas around here. Gas is definitely cheaper per mile. I'm not worried about longevity. My current gas Silverado HD has 215,00 miles and still running strong.
@@Featherburner Nope. Today 87 octane and diesel are exactly the same $3.44. Diesel is usually $.20-$.30 a gallon cheaper in the summer and about that much higher in the winter around here.
@@supporterofsanity Nope! Not around here. 87 is $3.31 and diesel is $3.99.
And how many of those towing GMs had a light problem?
Just mine lol
You don’t need in 450 but I would possibly upgrade. Did you work due to the 10,000 more of torque and upgrade the intake to the biggest one that they have for Chevy?
🤔?
🤔?
@@JB_WhoWork Can you decipher it?
I want you to suggest running in zero97 MPG run
I could never get my 2020 L5P’s computer mpg to match what the pump said either. I think it’s because of the high flow pumps putting inconsistent amounts of fuel in. But who knows really. The fuel range divided by the tank size in gallons always equaled what the computer showed for mpg so I figure that’s close enough lol.
Also, those were race cars in the two box trailers (the older Chevy pulling the one and then the RV pulling the other)!
Yea when I traveled cross country, I could put an additional 2 gallons in the tank which makes me believe it’s probably a 38 gallon fuel tank.
Good catch, I didn’t even pay attention although that black trailer was nice!
JB how’s is the Chevy Dually on fuel ⛽️ towing n not towing
Love the content but lets bring on the gasser content! L8T FTW!
How’s it’d on fuel vs the Ford 6.7 Powerstroke
I haven’t had a chance to test a F350 Dually, I may have to find a used one 👍🏾
JB do you OWN both Dually n white Chevy
Give it wide, open throttle 4 1/2 RPMs all the way down
Curious to see how it handles in the snow.
It's all about tires at that point.
The new L5P is mostly built by international and GM
How can paying on all these expensive trucks payoff. Would like to know. You tube is not a high paying job.
Yeah it is, depending on channel metrics views, subscribers , ect, sponsors. Lot of really rich RUclipsrs.
@@kennethobando5755 maybe im clueless. Monthly rent, food, to say the least.
You trade in your 2021 for more than you paid for it, and get 10% off the MSRP on the 2024. That's the only way I could afford it.
Dually gasser ever....ohhh blasphemous 😂
I couldn’t do it unless I kept it forever lol!
At best mpg will end up being 15
That headlamp won’t burn the entire time of that trucks life. It’s been a problem for government motors for 25 years or more.
😂
Im looking at a 2024 3500hd duramax LT crew cab 4wd dually with the flat bed factory 40 gallon tank but thinking about adding a 60 gallon titan tank bc theres a front tank delete per the sticker how far can you go on 40 gallons of diesel in yours which i know your truck is 36 gallon tank thanks
I’m thinking of trading in my 2014 ram 1500 for a gmc 3500 ultimate what are your thoughts on the gmc?
The 10 spd Allison + *975 lb ft breaks tires from the pavement often 🛻💨
Allison actually doesn’t make that transmission
@@taylorjackson7908 who then ?
@@Hempfuelgroup I believe it’s ford/GM together
@@taylorjackson7908 your telling me Ford & GM bought out Allison Transmission ?
@@TruckingTendencies no I’m telling you it isn’t built by Allison. There are tons of articles about it.
