Built in 1778 and changing uses many times this grand building was visited by the now queen Elizabeth before she was made Queen!

At 45.43 ish that old tape recorder, My dad had the same one, I have the old reel to reel tapes. Apparently my parents were talking about me before i was born . I have never heard it. I am now 63 years old. Would love to hear what they were talking about . i was about to be a new years day baby, but arrived a day too soon. Guess i will never hear them talk on that tape. Love all your videos , they are the best .

It was Princess Margaret with the Queen's mum and dad! I love that little house, even though it's full of stuff, I love also how you take time to look through the photos, I could gaze at those for hours too! And that small album with the fastening is amazing! I want one!

Such important history, memories to be past on and treasured but no one around to pass it on.
What a tiny place that really is and its like walking into the past. A Venner time switch Used for switching a single item on and off, such as a portable lamp or heater. The third timer is a model MSOP in a metal case with glass window. Dated 1962. Intended for lighting, with a 24 hour dial and a single on/off period. Great explore guys and a lot of laughs x

I think that the outer kitchen/toilet/dryer and washing machine wwas probably for the animal shelter to use. They would need a fridge to store medications and opened food and they would need cleaning facilities for animal bedding. Most rspca centres past and present have a lot of volunteers and staff and you wouldn't want them in and out of your house.
Caravans were probably used for animal socialisation or just as housing.

I had a CB if memory serves 'whats your 20'? was location a 'big 10-4' was a 'yes or ok' but I can't remember what 10-100 was. Great place, I think someone is still living there by the looks of things, so much memorabilia so much history. how sad that it's left to rot!

Looks like a 'hippie' hang-out from the 1970's. Pulling up in your VW van with flowers painted on it. I think you're right about the camper trailers (caravans). Curtains across door entries, beads......They sure liked animals, and all of nature I think. Except the dead ones in the case!

My uncle found thousands of pounds hidden in his dads house. Under the floorboards, under his favourite armchair, absolutely drenched in piss. I was young but remember all the washed 10s and 20s hanging up to dry on various new drying lines attached to the lights and chairs and everything he possibly could, in his dining room. Which still smelled of rotten old piss for about three years.
That picture of the lady on the landing my mom had wen we were kids and her name was tina seeing her again bought back good memories i wish I could have that picture again love you guys xx

I think this place either lived by workers or by the family.
Each part of the house seems occupied by different person. It may be was the will of the original owner that all the family live in the house, or the family decided to live together in the house so they don't divide the house.
Most of the pictures were dated 20(s) or 30(s). Which mean all the children seen in the photos are approximately between 40 to 60 years of age in the 70(s).
One after the other depart and their stuffs remained as it. until the last one depart, may be some moved to elderly houses or care facilities.
Yet, I did see the friend more than the house, and the camera guy was little fast. I wanted to see more of the house.
Also, I was hoping that one explorer to show us other caravans. We saw only one. But what about the others?
Happy that I saw different angles, but I was hoping for more.

I have never ever see so many abandoned houses whit abandoned things like they walk out from the house and never return? in my country this will never happend someone would come and collect everything and it will go to a place they will sell it ....so strange.....how come there is so many places in the UK like this? people left and never come back and if they died someone would come and collect there stuff or a second hand something?, those toys soldiers my brothers use to play whit when we where children...By the way did i see DPM something there? uniform or raincoat?,,,,any way another great video guys thanks,,
