I love watching you guys. Since I was born in ‘76 I feel like I can relate more to your humor and, well, everything, lol. I love that you guys are doing longer and more in-depth videos. It was sad seeing those wishbones. When I stayed with my granny, every time she would cook a chicken she would call me into the kitchen to wish on the wishbone with her.
I remember taping the top 20 hits off the radio and the dj was Alan Fluff Freeman. What an interesting man the owner must of been. All that belongs in a museum. You two make my day, hilarious xx sift and shake and put the grandad back omg can't stop laughing....need oxygen lol. The blue thing on the wall,in the kitchen was to dispense tea leaves xx
That chap probably did serve in Greece. My dad was offered a commission at the end of the war but it meant he would have to go to Greece because the British army were trying to sort out their civil war. The AEU was the Amalgamated Engineering Union. They merged with another union and became the Amalgamated Engineering and Electrical Union. It was such a small house with such a lot of memories in it. Sad. Thanks for another very enjoyable explore 😊
I live in wales. We’re not offended by your banter. It’s good to have some nice good old fashioned fun and a laugh. We can’t do that anymore unfortunately , keep up the good work guys. Let’s get you to Japan soon lol 😂.
I end up having giggle fits every single time I watch your 2, being a sheffield lass misen and watching the pure banter but at the same time always love the respectful explores is just the best, thank guys 👌😁😁🤣
I’ll have to look into Patreon, I’ve been thinking about joining for a couple of months but just not got round to doing it. If this man was in the war, or in the SBS or SAS, can you imagine the stories he could tell. He really is a hero, and put his life on the line for us to live freely today. God bless him. I can imagine when he was alive it was probably lovely and warm with all those fires 🔥 going. It’s a bloody shame that this house has been trashed yet again by morons. It really really annoys me. Where are the grandchildren, or his children? You’d at least pick up all his personal belongings and photographs, etc. So so sad 😞.
Great explore and what memories. My grandparents had of those fireplaces in their council house… in Wigan, LANCASHIRE!! Love the video, great way to spend a Sunday laughing at you guys. 😂👍
I'm hearing but my husband is deaf. When he uses sign language he IS speaking, just through his hands. That's why it's called a "language". We also had an interpreter there to say his words out loud for family and friends that didn't know sign language. Once you sign your name on the marriage certificate, you're legally married, regardless of what words are spoken or signed!
This is the 3rd time I’ve seen this abandoned house and it seems to be getting worse each time. It definitely is a man because on the fireplace was an empty champagne bottle that said happy birthday grandad on your 90th birthday. Very sad to see how time and decay takes over. Another great video. Thank you guys 💙💙
After I saw the name on the the war book you found and the empty violin case I looked into this name and I found a piece about a symphony orchestra and I’ve hilighted a piece which could be this man. Ernest Aubusson Violin Award “Purchased by the orchestra with money generously given to the orchestra in memory of the late Ernest Aubusson, a good quality violin has been bought. The instrument is to be loaned to student members deserved of such an instrument.” Such a shame if this is how his home has been left.
Besides the shake and vac and put granddad back 😂😂😂you all had so many jokes and fun in this vid. What a great explore even if it was a small place. I loved this place. It is very sad that no one is claiming this awesome veteran’s things! Love you both!! You all never disappoint!!
Mandarin ducks, I think. Me and my daughter saw a box of buttons in a charity shop, and thought of you Matt. But the best ones have bits of cotton dangling from them, and sadly, these did not. Great explore, thanks. X
Lads I watch a few abandoned explorers on here, each have their own strengths. This channel definitely makes me laugh out loud more than the rest. Current.. currant? format is spot on.
Please come to New Zealand , Matt and Andy and yes you will be very very supported! Love Watching from New Zealand with LOve! 5:10 when you bake a pie and the base is cooked in the oven with beans used as a weight with baking paper!
In US I listened to Kacie Kasam top countdown!! and hit the record button on my favorites! 🤣 also Wolfman Jack! Love you guys with my Sunday morning coffee!
What a shame, he served in the war and the SAS, and now all the precious things have gone to waste, and who the hell smashes windows in?? Horrible. Towards the end of the video, 49.50 did you notice the old sponge mattresses? Behind Andy. Brilliant stuff you two, made me laugh so much and made my night too, thank you and blessings xx
This is sad, if this man was ex services and Special Services at that, he would be used to a very tidy life, so I think people have been through the drawers and things and thrown things around. I hate that people do this its so disrespectful.
12:49-51 what was that sound? To me it sounds like a long drawn out breath or hiss? 😨 (Left ear) 31:44-46 another hissing sound in left ear again! 46:50 ?? 💨 ?? 🤭
I'm only 45 and I'm starting to feel the cold getting old is shite. Good to see ya back you two are the funniest we used to use the dry beens at school to stick em on paper to make pictures with buttons as well lol... taping of the top 40 on a Sunday was a nightmare it wasn't funny at the time I punched my tape recorder and dinted it I got thrashed and grounded for two weeks.lol.
GOOD MORNING FROM NEW ENGLAND....THIS LOOKS VERY INTERESTING, AND IM FASCINATED WITH THE ORNATE CRAFTMANSHIP OF THESE SADLY FORGOTTEN STRUCTURES.....THX FOR DROPN THIS VID...PEACE FROM THE NORTHEAST...
Got to admit these are my favourite kind of your explores.. lots of bits & pieces and I can try to find out about his life later (it keeps me brain working!) xx
JUST LOVE WATCHING YOU TWO!! You take me back to my childhood every time I watch you!! Brilliant!!! Defo used to do the wishbone thing, I now do it with my child too carrying on the tradition 👍
Always a good start to Sunday with you 2!! 😆 😆 A very interesting man lived here, probably couldn't tell anyone his stories. I've never seen a "caravan" with gas lights! Great Video guys!!
The Blue article on the kitchen wall was a Tea Dispenser it gave just enough loose tea for one cup of tea, I had one when I first got married 49 years ago.
The box says'please son let me have the box back when you can ' maybe it was a gift? the collars from his dad? Or a general term? Loving the channel lads, so funny, 😃👍❤️
Hi Matt and Andy, great video, my Dad and Ernest Aubusson would have probably fought in the same battles in WW2 as my dad was in the 8th army also and received the same medal the Africa Star with 8th Army clasp. So sad these important documents cant be retrieved and displayed in a military museum.
Me and my mother used to pull the wish bones i did do it with my 3 when they were younger don't do it now. This lil old mans home feels so interesting but also a little sad bless him i bet he had some stories he could tell
That place was amazing, the fireplace I think is 1950s because we had one in our house which was built in the early 50s to house workers for the MOD, they were later sold to our local council and my parents moved in aourund 1962 or 63
Andy, you remind me of my Grandad, he’s all I see when I’m watching you and without sounding weird, it’s lovely , great explore, lovely that that little book showed his military achievement, the “ Africa Star, reminded me that my Dad earned a “Burma Star”during his time in the Royal Navy, he was for a time on the “ Ark Royal” so proud of him, Matt your laughing is just like Muttley and so infectious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 we used to collect milk bottles tops for the Blind Association and they weighed them in for funds, also the “ Stagg beetle reminds me of the time I found one and put it in my pocket ( I was 15 at the time) called for my friend Sally and told her to get something out of my pocket, she screamed so loud that her Dad heard her and when he realised what I’d done , he told me to “piss off home” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m 66 now and I’ve never seen another Stagg beetle since, theyr fab creatures ( soz I cant help going off on a tangent 🐾🥰🐾🥰🐾🥰🤣🥰
Andy may up sticks and move to Wales 😂 Loved the content bit's and pieces of everything and history of the owner to boot. Well done my 2 favourite guy's. XX 💙💙 👨🌾 Get wee Andy a tractor 🚜 😂 I had a grandad shirt, thought i was no goat's toe wearing it.
Omg! You made me roar with the shake and vac bit! 😂😂 the blue thing in the kitchen is a tea dispenser, my mum had one. I agree, mits such a sad end to someone's life.
What can I say but 🥳 I can't flippin wait I'm bringing out the Dancing Girls 👯 anyone for pinata? 🪅 😃 🎶🎶💃 What a better way to spend a Sunday with Matt and Andy! 🎉 💕 I'll be watching... 💕 xxxx
I do recall Atlantic radio listening to it at night when I was supposed to be asleep 😀and my brother and I used to fight who got the wish bone every time we had a Chicken dinner !😂 Anyhow I love you guys you are like a married couple and you make me laugh ,yet you both have a sensitive side too .Keep up the good work !
You guys crack me up 🤣 you have got to be my favourite explorers xx i loved Atlantic 252 cos it was the only station that played the full song before the dj started talking x what a lovely wee house that was, so cosy xx it's a shame that all his belongings are just left discarded like that 😢 xx
I would love to meet you guys you are the best tbh. The kings of banter and comedy in my opinion. Andy has an idea tbh, not buttons though Matt as you hate them but if you do challenges people will pay to see them so why not. These videos with you exploring these old houses are the best as you rummage through the stuff and make laughs about them ha ha. When Matt said about the Sheet music i thought Andy was going to say exactly shit music I was waiting for it. TB is Tuberculosis .... Andy was on form in this one .. Do the shake and vac and put the granddad back was hilarious and its his face too. Me and my sister still wish on wish bones when she makes the dinners ... My mum passed away last March, she had Alzheimer's but one day she had a massive fall and had to have an op on her pelvis as she had broken it. She didnt die from the Alzheimer's she died as she couldnt get over the operation. She was put on palliative care and passed away days after the op. So sad as you see your once strong minded relative deteriorate ... Great explore once again guys with laughs ... xxx

Another fun filled explore, great stuff :D 12:07 Andy is right, 'Grandad shirts' were the shirts without the collar attached.
The word that was kind of of blurry was Sacred of the Greek Sacred Squadron who fought alongside British special forces.

As an Alaskan Native, the correct term is Inuit. But not many people outside AK know that here in the US. Props to you, Matt!

Was it Casey Kasem you were trying to think of? American disc jockey. He did the American top 40 countdown back in the day.
Andy you always make me laugh 🤣 . Thank You 💟
Andy looks like my type of man, macho but with that sweet emotion xoxo
Your glass "urn" is a cocktail shaker you had me crying with laughter at your shake and vac
Hey guys. I think those ducks are Mandarin ducks, I may be wrong but that's what I'm thinking. Love the video, you guys are amazing 👏 ❤
There either mandarin ducks or Peking duck 😂😂
@@FINDERSBEEPERS haha 😄 I think I prefer a nice bit of peking duck 😋
The bottle on the top of the telly looks like a Cocktail shaker.
Merry Christmas you 2
Good video, so funny you two, and ye we always made a wish with a wishbone
My Mother collected Buttons
For years ! There has to be
Thousands of them,
I’m Going to send them all to

Could be the "Amalgamated Engineering Union (AEU)" if he was in the army.
