- Chaplain Barry Black is from Baltimore, Maryland and has been delivering the prayer before the Senate impeachment trial since it started. This particular prayer struck a chord with man.
“Lord, help them [senators] to remember that they can't ignore you and get away with it, for we always reap what we sow," said the Senate Chaplain.

i truly believe the Ruach HaKodesh, (Hebrew for Holy Spirit), is using the Chaplain of the UNITED STAES SENATE, as a mouthpiece , to speak TRUTH, to all people, that our Heavenly Father is Sovereign ...He is Justice

The vote for no witnesses was the Will of God.
You cannot believe him omnipotent and ignore this fact.
All that happens is overseen by God’s sovereign will. Yet because He values freedom among his creatures, not all that happens is within His desired or ideal will. It may indeed be God’s ideal will that there be more witnesses, or that Trump be removed, or even that he was not elected. But he is allowing humans to reap the consequences of their own foolish choices. But His sovereign will puts boundaries on the extent of the damage and evil inflicted. And at some point, as the good Chaplain says, they will all reap what they have sown, including the President.

Will this prayer affect the votes of the Senate? Probably not, since they seem to take their oaths so casually. However, it might be a genius stroke for the separation of church and state. Religion is a two-edged sword, y'all....
Best part of the whole trial! Those leaders up there and SO many need to listen to this prayer and take it to heart!
If the Senate doesn't do what is right, God will show them. America is about to pay for a lot, God is sick of them! You can get by but you won't get away. This man clearly thinks he is above the law and has broken the law but he will be shown he is not above our Father whom shoulder the government sits on. The Last shall be First and the First will be Last that's a Promise!

Even Jesus acknowledged this when he asked to be spared from his destiny after being overcome with human emotions at Gethsemane. Free will is not mentioned in the Bible. God is in control. Always. The names of God's elect are already written. It is all already written. It is already done. We are all just along for the ride.
You're just saying this because you probably don't like Trump. You are being swayed by human morality, which God is above. "Oh how could God allow terrible Trump to be president???" How could God command the slaughtering of the women and children in Canaan? How could he turn Lot's wife and an entire city into salt? Etc. God has done terrible things (what human morality dictates as terrible 🙄) to enact HIS plan.

The one who "taught us morals" is the same who commanded unmitigated slaughter throughout biblical history. He is God.☝😐

I doubt it Marty. I was hoping that he might interject but... looks like a no go on that one. It's sad but I have hope that maybe with a change in the Senate or just out of conviction maybe in the near future both sides will get together and amend some things to require our POTUS to act more respectable than what we have seen. I would like to see some stricter things on people even entering the presidency at all... It's hard to believe that integrity needs to be clearly defined as a requirement as POTUS but well... seems we may need to go down that road in the future... dunno... just a thought anyway.

Ah that's not fair to say... but man I would have been afraid to vote the way they voted after that admonition. Let's not turn this into a political hatred thing though you know? God used him to get a message out and he listened. I think it was a good message for all of us that believe in Christ. Dishonesty on both sides of the isle is something people should be concerned with imo...
