I'm 74, almost 75, and the sweetest memories I have are those that included Dylan's music. A young 17 year old with the world stretched before me. I am now more than ever grateful those memories are full of his music.
This song is so great on so many levels. Dylan’s lyrics, it’s Dylan’s voice in his prime. Dylan nails all the high notes. It’s like magic but what always gets me is Robbie’s guitar work on this song. It’s absolutely incredible.
inspiration for The Band's Robbie Robertson....what a heartfelt solo in tune with the lyric and melody...nothing overdone....all in one....that is playing music!!!

I often wonder now, what the hell happened that we're in this mess today with so much division and hatred. I guess human nature just cannot be changed.
@@ksullivan728I was having these very thoughts today. Thinking about the war and how the height of human attainment is epitomised in the ever more exquisitely technologically advanced ways we devise of destroying ourselves. If there's a God, and he is some controller of destiny, or merely watching our struggles, he must not be so pleased with the choices we freely make. So much creativity, so much beauty, so much destruction. Like nature herself. We are part of her and doomed to destroy what we should love and cherish. Breaks my heart .
Robbie R was such a fabulous guitar player. We were fortunate to have him in our lifetime. The same can be said of all those on that stage. Thank goodness this movie was made - not really a movie but a reel of life in those times.

Sorta funny, having parents 40+ years older than me by time rock music came around in the 1950s my parents learned to like some rock music from their kids starting w/ my oldest brother, a teen in '50s & Elvis and ending up with me as a teen in the 70s ( and mom hated most of my music including Bob Dylan.) Very impressive! Makes my soul shiver.
Every year on this day I share this song with a woman whom I’ve cared about in a way unlike any other ,she was a sort of first love. She now has a wonderful family, good man as a husband and I’m happy for her. Genuinely happy for her and thankful we are still friends.
❤❤❤ Nothing like our first loves!
Amo questa canzone! Bellissima performance! Immenso Bob Dylan! 😊🤗😍😘🎶🎸🎶💘❤️💋💯💯🌅
Forever the song of love. I dedicate this song to the daughter I will adopt, she is 11 but she will be forever young God willing. I hope this all comes together while she’s still young, my Alexandra.
I never heard this song until I saw the movie... FanDamTastic....The words are perfect
Simply fantastic song. Thank you for sharing. God bless everyone
