buen cover =), te recomendaría una distorción tipo el Dunlop Classic Distortion o un Metal Muff de Electro Harmonix, esas se asemejan mucho al sonido de Frank y Ray... (Y)
Ok so I do hope that you will reply to this because when I was searching on how to play guitar because I've been trying to learn how to play for a long time and I just can't do it but I really want to learn it, but I came across this and I really like it. Firstly I'd like to ask how you recorded the audio because it actually sounds really good, second off i'd like to ask how you learned the guitar because one of the 3 things that has been preventing me from guitar is because I can't learn the notes easily, it takes me almost all day to actually just play the intro and that's still horrible.. 2nd is that I can't change between notes as fast which causes a critical issue for me because I'm planning to cover a lot of alternative rock, punk-ish songs and basically songs from bands like mcr, bvb and a lot more. I just said only those 2 examples because I think you'd get the point. Another issue of why I can't seem to learn guitar is that I really want to do it yet I just keep procrastinating and it bothers me so much.. I always end up returning to playing video games or watching things or reading books and it's either because I just want to take a break and I end up never returning to the song I was working on or I rage quit and I just really want to learn the guitar. I know to learn it it will take lots of time but I tried guitar several years ago and I try to learn it still but all I end up doing is what I did up above ^ so if you could please reply or even see this comment and try to help in the least bit that will do me a lot..
As a musician, I'd say that learning a musical instrument takes a lot of time and practice. At the beginning, We all struggle learning an instrument, especially if you've chosen Guitar and Piano because it requires using both left and right hand. I think you need to start with basic exercises and practice them really slow with a metronome. Also, try to memorize 2 chord positions every week. For example, C and G major. Then, try to change from C to G, no matter if it takes you 30 minutes, and after that, try to change to C again. I know it is difficult at the beginning but with practice everything gets better. Responding to your first question, I used to record my videos with an interface connected to my Mac. It is normal to procrastinate, I used to procrastinate a lot when I was learning guitar or even at school. If you get to practice at least an hour everyday you don't need to feel bad about procrastinating. God luck with everything and thanks for watching my video!
Thanks for replying. I thought piano was really easy but I guess not..? But I know how to play piano, it was extremely easy for me. I don't know if it was or not but I guess I just knew how to do it? And I would try metronomes but it would still be way too fast for me and even when I tried setting it to a slower pace I still couldn't catch up to it no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get my speed up. It might be because the guitar has a more "complicated" system and the fact that there are millions of different chords and notes that you can play on the guitar verses on the piano just seems ridiculous.
alex flores as a guitarist myself, I can tell you that after a lot of years of playing, its easy to play by ear, or if you're newer you could just look up the sheet music or tabs on some sites
