Are you playing in standard tuning? It always looks like Billie is playing D-A-G open chords (I assume 1/2 step down) during the verses/chorus of the first half of the song.
Yep, the song is in Eb tuning with open chords :).

This is just the original tack of the song with his layered beneath it very quietly. It's not even a backing track. Listen to when it goes into the second part, you barely hear his guitar, but you hear a guitar. Same thing with the prechorus, he's just strumming yet you hear the individual strings being plucked.

The lead part seems to be pre-recorded or it's just the original riff from the song.
It sounds like just the lead from the song itself. It looks he did this all as one straight recording and probably didn’t overdub anything on to his recording

i think it is the gibson les paul special double cut custom. it was actually Billie Joe's signature guitar other than his other Les Paul juniors.

Wrong chords. The verse should be D A G in open chords. Did you even plug your guitar in an amp? I can't hear your guitar.

I've played it too and if i play along to the track it sounds EXCACT the same.
Jonas Tjelle that means you're both wrong. I got my tabs from the official songbook and its nowhere near this fakery. Its played in Eb tuning but he played it in standard tuning. The way he plucked those strings doesn't even match the sound from the song. This is so fake and bad.
The way Billie plays it is in Eb tuning yes and open chords. But so what? The guy who plays in the video just tranpose every chord one fret up so it sounds the same. AND SO IT DOES.
