Your daughter is lucky to have a DAD like you. keep up the good work. How about some vids on the house construction, without disclosing its location.

Awesome idea and construction. I give you two thumbs up for teaching your daughter how to shoot and how to safely handle guns. Whether kids grow up and take an interest in the shooting sports as adults is ultimately their choice, but teaching them how to shoot and how to be safe with and around guns is responsible parenting. Cheers.

That was pretty much my upbringing, although I was more into fantasy/scifi and had to make my own crossbow instead :)

Cool. Funny you should mention making your own crossbow. My brother and I did exactly that when I was about 8 years old! Cheers.

The politically correct (PC) society today is so full of shit. I am mid-60s, so I grew up in the 1950s and 60s. I received my first air rifle (from my mother - didn't have a father) when I was 8 or 9 years old. I got my first .22LR single shot bolt action Remington rifle when I was probably 11. Back then seeing a rifle and/or a shotgun on a horizontal rack in a pickup truck back window was common. If a high school boy had driven his truck, with back window rack and highly visible long guns, into the school parking lot, the vice-principal might have come out to talk to him... and compare their preferences in guns and maybe swap hunting stories. I grew up in a large city, but I spent my weekends and summers in the country on my grandmother's farm. Guns like this were less common in the city, but EVERYWHERE in the rural areas. Granted that was Texas, but it was common in many other states in the US. AND that pickup in the school parking lot with the guns in the back window probably had its windows rolled down. No one was going to steal those guns, or the ones in numerous other trucks in that parking lot. My point is that all this was NORMAL and not the exception. At least not until the Marxist college radicals of the 1960s became the professors and deans, wrote the textbooks, and taught the future teachers, spreading their ideology to the last several generations of children. That is when this culture started going downhill.

I like it. My boys are too young for air rifle shooting but I'm pretty sure this project works for slingshots too. Thank you Hannes =)

Would have been nice if you could have somehow attached your plans on making this, but it is somewhat straightforward on doing it, it would have just been nice and easier to have something to print out... Thanks for the great video and kudos to your daughters !!!

Okay, that is very cool. And you will need something to keep the kids busy while you're "rolling your own". **My dad let me shoot BB gun alone. One day I killed a bird - didn't touch that rifle for a month! I imagined that little bird's happy life I ended every night for a week - crying in my pillow.

My son has been shooting air rifle since he was 5. He is 8 now and shoots 10/22 and a 410 single shot.. 10 years old? Anyone criticizing that needs their head checked. Wish this channel was still around.

if people would have a fit over a 10 year old with an air rifle, they'd lose their minds if they came to my house lol at 10 you can hunt big game in Montana, that means a real rifle with a couple years of practice first... I'll let you figure out the rest

With all the guns in the world I personally think more exposure to guns makes a safer person. If a person finds a gun or god forbid has to use a gun for self defense, they will have the training already. There would be nothing worse than a person needing to use a gun and not knowing how to use it or to be afraid of it. For this same reason I believe a person should be taught how to swim as early as possible. We teach our kids early about the danger of fire, guns should be no different.

my daughter hate this stuff if not technology or none related to out doors and building off grid, is bad to her and I get die or leave me alone, for loving simple life than inner city living and off grid final goal. I have to wait till she out on her own before I can go off grid as much as I can.

lol, my grandpa put a gun in my hand at age 7. By age 10 I was shooting the flame out on a candle without hitting the wick. It's always good to teach kids responsibility and get them excited about the shooting sports.

I remember wearing roller skates that strap to my shoes instead of the newer more conventional way of swapping out your shoes for roller skates that had boots attached to them...
But to be honest, the first pair that I wore, and for the most part, I did wear the newer style of roller skates...

  • @lamesniepaienne5041

    I saw "Target": I click !
more seriously, I thinked about why you always get demonetized, and I think it's not only because of the weapons (obviously weapons are an excuse), but because of the theme of your channel: this video is a perfect example, it's dedicated to people who does not really want, or be able to live a consumerist life... so they perfectly know that nobody in your viewers community is gonna buy the stuff featured in their commercials... they cannot ban you, thus you get demonetized. what a sad world !

Take it from an old fart who grew up zero Nikes in his life or video games but we did have a black and white TV with no remote and only could watch TV in a dark room and only a few hours a day but hell like today there was not much to watch any way . Today we have a million channels and nothing to watch Go figure . But this could be the best thing that happened to your kids very little electronics not a bad thing really we raised ours with very little and it worked out no problems other than the same things I went through so good look young man you and yours just might survive after all . Happy trails .
