  • Using a couple pieces of scrap plywood I created this quick and dirty shooting range for a BB gun. The BBs have no issue knocking the target over and I added a lever you can pull to reset all the targets at once.

You need a deeper, slanted backstop for a regular metal BB gun target or you run a serious risk for ricochet. Also, many modern air rifles will shoot right through a unsupported single sheet of plywood.

@@DIYBuilds nah, get yourself a remote controlled lever from china for 3$. Also you have put in all the hard work, making an awesome box, but cut corners on the finish line. Giving it a decent paintjob, getting a 2$ polymergrip for transportation, put in leds for ilumination...small cheap and effortless stuff like that make a decent thing special awesome and lasting.

If you have a shop with tools and some old things laying around house and some scrap wood you can male this for free i took a old stainless steel industrial coffe machine I had in my kitchen for 15 years finally went put and j saved it to be able to use the stainless steel flat metal off it for projects and recycle the pump in it and electronics to use on kther projects so i got stainless steel targets on mine lol. Thanks for sharing this with us. I'm 29 years old and I got my old BB guns and pellet gins about 10 different ones from wjen i was a kid replaced all seals on them and they all work lile new amd i built a giant version of this with 26 targets three levels and me and my friends love it and i ised a rd airplane servos for each level to reset it with a hand held little remote to reset it. Make sure they are metal gear servos and find a electric motor type product that has a wire less remlte and use thebelectronics to power the servos or just make a long 20 foot wire with a simple toggle switch as well to power servod to flip the targets back

Oh hell no! ... LOL.. I stopped when the tin snips came out to cut all those disc...my BB trap isn't all fancy schmancy like yours- I just used cardboard and some envelopes. mine doesn't have the big discs for targets (yet) , but I'm looking for a way to incorporate them into an inexpensive backstop.
(and in truth, I did watch the rest of the video and your skills -and your shop- are impressive.)
