I once made some spinners from hole saw scrap. The hole saw had a .25" pilot drill. The discs were welded to the hanger stem from the rear, leaving a .25" blind hole in the face of the target. Center hits on the hole make a very satisfying POP sound! Lets you know right away you made a perfect shot. Do it more than one and the pellets stack themselves in the hole... Learning this gave me the idea of drilling a series of blind .25" diameter holes in a larger steel plate. Basically replaces ever needing to shoot paper again. Multiple aim points. Nice audible & reactive feedback. And a quick squirt of spray paint refreshes the face for the next go. Of course, pellets only, at a ricochet safe distance...
Great video and shooting as always.. can't wait for the longer warmer days ahead and looking forward to seeing more videos sounds like you have a lot of great stuff lined up ... Brilliant
Cheers mate, yeah it's going to be a busy spring for sure. There's loads of very cool stuff lined up and some massive changes to the channel and my business too. Very exciting 😀
Glue/screw a small magnet above the target on the backside and it will catch the target when it flips up giving a clear and decisive indication and will need a proper reset hit after.
The 'crack' when the pellet hits the hole in the hex bolt is the pellet compressing the air in the bolt void and it then escaping.....an instantaneous release of compressed air if you like.
I know, late to the party, but, if the front cover plate hole was lower on the flip target, there'd be more energy to flip it up. The higher the hit the less force to swing it. Great target!
I feel like I just watched a video of someone assembling the "worst DIY target kit you could ever make" haha *_20 parts included! You may need; A welder, an angle grinder, rivets...😂_*
@@LowkeyAirgunner I know mate 😉 I want to do a mad moving one at some point.. might be a little more involved than any so far... 10part series on how not to use tools 😆
Using FAC air rifles most of these targets don’t last long sadly even with a 30 FPE PCP. I find myself using 1/4” AR 500 plate and that’s about all I found to hold up.
Hello mate, i just watched your video about muzzle brake on air rifles. Iam thinking of buying an air rifle called kral n-13. It has a weird end to its barrel and i cant decide if that would do any harm. Can you please google the model and tell me your opinions?
@@tillysgunstocks What is that table you shoot off? May be a mute issue as I live in the USA. However it looked pretty weatherproof so as to leave it outside. Thanks Again, Paul

Sounds a fun project that! 🤔😉
We are all kids aren’t we 😂, love the eye shot

Nice idea, I need to try some reducers on my targets
Great build and a awesome target nothing better than a turkey
Great vid 👌
Love the turkey
The goose gives some serious side eye. 🤣
Great idea to use up old items given the price of steel these days.

Pmsl!! Wait till I get a plasma cutter 😆😎
3000 target making videos... 🫣
@@tillysgunstocksThis was not negative!
But this definitely is the most complicated "pre made target assembly" I've witnessed yet haha

Have you the link for the paddles on amazon please?

Use peg spring for the flap 😏
that's a 12 pound gun. You blokes really do some damned fine shooting with the bloody damn limits imposed upon you.
Cheers mate. If you want a laugh have a look at my videos out at 100 yards 😉 sub12ftlb. Jsb heavies 10.34gn 710fps..
May I ask what that is you use for a bench rest? Thank You!
Hi mate. The front bag is one of the cheapy Amazon ones ,filled with silica cat litter.
Works fine for the filming duties 😉

@@tillysgunstocks Cat litter is great and biodegradable.
I would have made the reducer out of steel....
It's ok, I won't be hitting it often 🤣. 😉
How does one pronounce Gamo in Spanish?
Beautiful target
🤣🤣🤣 brilliant fun 👍👍👍
Lol, nice vid, cheers
