Just finished putting mine together, can't wait to fly it. I appreciate you showing this as I am likely going to fly it off grass so hand launching might be the only way to go. It looks like there is no shortage of power to get it into the air. But also like that you showed it can fly slowly too. I dig speed but being able to slow things down just to enjoy it cruising past is sweet.
I found by far the best way to hand launch the F-15 by the pilot is to grab one of the thrust nozzles with you right hand and angle it up about a 45% and give it full throttle...i do that with No Safe on at all and have had really good results
The Eflite F15 is a fantastic flyer I like tossing under hand with the tossing hand on the fuselage on the cockpit. Very easy using only AS3X. Ryan great hand tossing and flying, Bobby love how you don't zoom in all the time, showing the ground with the plane, Jeff in LA USA
Great job guys! I am right handed and I throw mine with my left. I bump the throttle with my nose. It looks weird but I have my right hand ready on the stick. Thanks for sharing!
Very fast 64mm edf plane, tracks great. I have used quite some foam tac on mine but actually it still flies great. I always hand launch it and most of the times it pulled up just before crashing into the ground. Will try a little up trim too
So glad you showed this bird, this was the first EDF I bought and after lots of foam tac because of learning to land she is now my favorite EDF. And I do not have to fly it on safe anymore it is very stable and fun to roll and loop. Great jet!
Great video!!! This is a fun flying jet all the way around, flew off our grass perfectly with wheels , and flys faster without wheels, thanks for sharing guys👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
I have put in a mix on the elevator on a switch which when on gives a bit of up elevator trim. It only seems to work when I have SAFE selected, but that doesn't matter because I always launch in SAFE. It goes straight into a gentle climb, flick switch off and all back to normal and then select AS3X or whatever you want. I've done this with all my hand-launch aircraft and wings.
@@RCPlaneAddict agree; but if you toss it in SAFE mode, (nose up) SAFE will try and level it out and until it 'reaches flying speed', it will sink; so you have to be quick on the up elevator :-) ..most videos I've seen, don't use SAFE for a hand launch...
First jet for me I have a question you fly in non safe and high rates. In the R9s sim even in safe low rates the plane rolls like crazy your in non safe high rates and it seems so smooth...can you give your transmitter setup Also even in low rates any turn it wants to dive for the ground and using elevator of course will just tighten the turn... so do you have any mixing going on? Yes I know your well experienced flying so you will say practice. Great flight and I will be hand launching. Thanks Sterk03
Just flew mine and flew for about 30 feet then went straight into the ground I bought a new fuselage and am gonna try it again it was on safe too so idk what was wrong
Anyone whos getting in to hand throw edfs.. do a throttle to elevator mix where you get up elevator proportionally to throttle. Once in the air, knock the mix off.
Having difficulty hand launching it, crashed it twice already. I do have the landing gear and missiles on. Do i need to drop them to reduce wait. I had the throttle at the max but it does a nose dive as soon as it leaves my hand. I have SAFE on. Also could it be the weight or placement of the battery. Any advice?
I've had nothing but failures with hand launching this plane. I recommend using the wheels and doing traditional take offs. I know it's not fun watching your nose get snapped off over and over again!
Ryan, great flight! Did I hear you right, is this a bank and yank plane, no rudder? That safe launch was a bit hairy, glad you were able to get on those sticks. Another great video. Keep up the great work.
HI RYAN SIR THANKYOU FOR A GREAT REVIEW OF A FUN GREAT FLYING JET SIR. IT'S PERFECT PLANE/JET FOR ME BEING A PARK FLYER. THANKS FOR FILMING BOBBYK.🇬🇧💂 PILOT RYAN MEDIA 🇺🇸🗽♥️💯✌️🕊️

Excellent work on the sticks and lens. I think hand launches are one of the ideal uses of Safe. Way to toss it and Boss it.

Pilot Ryan thank you for that Eflite F15 Eagle shake down, your flight skills is so amazing, great experience and confidence is really grate to watch
Epic. I know I'm finna crash first time. Man makes it look easy. It is NOT. Epic video my son will love this
Pilot Ryan, Your breaking my Hanger Rat Bank. Later this week I will Order it thru your link 👍😎🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🗽🎬🎥✔

Master class dude
Awesome! Thanks for the details on the hand launch, much appreciated 👍
Look at Pilot Ryan Fly that thing man that thing is burning up the sky look so cool 👍✌️🇺🇸

I like it. Wheels are coming off. Looks alot faster

looks like the king of thumbs down was here too, nice job Ryan on your flight!
Cool 👍 Links in the discro
Super gnarly video Ryan and Bobby k!!!
Nice hand launch and man that thing rips! Safe hand launch almost wasn't as good as your first one! Third launch was money!
Awesome hand launch Pilot Ryan and the sound from that edf is amazing 👏
This could be a good beginner jet?
I’m on my third one. Love it.
Looks like a very smooth fling plane.
Dad flew the real F15 strike eagle. This man canFLY. you don't need luck brother this is beast mode. How do i support channel
That might be a great candidate for a bungee launch
Just bought one :)
Nice job guys

5 clicks work for me, great advice 👍
That was Awesome! nice flight.

Added a switch controlled mix 50% up elevator at 100% throttle for launch. Works like a dream.
Way to go!
Cool beans!!!
great looking flights. Up trim seems like a good idea using SAFE; tries to get the nose back down(level out) at launch...
I thought that was strange too, like SAFE almost appeared to be a harder toss, when you would think that it is the "Safer" choice.

Nice video! Maybe my next plane?

Did you reinforce the stabs? They are flimsy and make me nervous. I haven’t on mine but thinking about it
I did not
I like that airplane.
Just flew mine and flew for about 30 feet then went straight into the ground I bought a new fuselage and am gonna try it again it was on safe too so idk what was wrong
Hi Mr! Does I need to register with FAA to fly airplanes?
If you are in the United States, yes
Anyone whos getting in to hand throw edfs.. do a throttle to elevator mix where you get up elevator proportionally to throttle. Once in the air, knock the mix off.
You make hand launching look easy. Just locked and predictable flying little jet.
It looks much better without the U/C. 👍🏼
Do you guys know what a good first rc plane is for learning

Move the battery back and give yourself some up trim

Yes, no rudder
1:40 ask Mr Eagle, turn your head and cough 🤩BB
I use the EDF unit that's in this plane in my Freewing 64mm F-22 and it makes it just as zippy as this bird.
I'm getting one tomorrow never flew a plane before will I crash it
Probably, yes

Arrows Marlin or E-Flite F-15 64mm: which should I purchase? They E-Flite has SAFE for the hand launching. 🤷♂🤷♂
Both fly well
Can you fly these licensed under 107?
That was a perfect first hand launch without SAFE. She does fly smooth. Eflite just genuinely and consistently puts out great flying planes. 👍👍😊
