You're definitely doing this model justice. Good flying man! There's another channel that reviewed it and stalled on landing because they ran out the battery. There's no excuse to run out of voltage with an Avian ESC. These people have to know that you can get voltage info from the ESC on-demand.
The best looks, sound and performance in R/C I have ever seen. They are worth $499 just to have one in your house.

I said I would get one. And it is a blast to fly. Super details, and reverse thrust is so cool on landings. Very easy to program the avian esc for reverse. I maiden flew mine today and the landings are so smooth. It feels a little heavier in the air than my 70mm edf f-16 but performs excellent. This is one SUPER WICKED falcon!!!!!!!!
Hell yes, I am get'n one. I love the way the 70mm edf flys. This one is way better. Fully loaded with all the good stuff. Super Wicked!!!!!!!!!

@@shelbyseelbach9568 I like Draco’s STOL capabilities, and the shocks (because I mainly fly from a cratered sand area). But for 100 dollars less you get a CUSTOMIZABLE 80mm F-16. And they were released within the same month. Because the F-16 is my favorite fighter, if I’m choosing between the 2, well I’m sold on the F-16!
@@aerospacematt9147 I'm aware that other people are enthused about the Draco. That doesn't change my excitement level one bit, and I'm not trying to change anyone else's. Merely stating my opinion.
F-16 looks great and because I feel that way it also appears to be a good value. The Draco doesn't appeal to me, so it's price is irrelevant really. If it was $100 it wouldn't be in my hangar, even though as a model it looks to be as high in quality as HH's other recent offerings. Everyone likes something different, great thing about this hobby.
All models are customizable if you're a modeler.
@@shelbyseelbach9568 I’m not really a Draco fan either. It’s a little too large (and a little too expensive) for me. I wasn’t trying to convince you otherwise, just mentioning that it’s capabilities would work at my flying field. As an F-16 fan, a Bind N Fly F-16 is an incredible model, and I would definitely rather purchase this than Draco! (And I’m excited that they offer 4 different squadron schemes, while you can technically customize any model, I wouldn’t go paint this up to be a Thunderbird)

That's what I love about the simple f16 airframe thr isnt any bad f16 I flown alot and they perform well now that eflite has one this will be a winner next to freewing 70s

Very nicely done in that wind, and a stunning model, great to watch. I just put a bit of thickish grease on the gear axles so it doesn't sounds like a shopping cart on landing.

I always thought someone needed to make a scale F-16 in a 80mm... hopefully the weight is right on point.
It fits the spot between 90 and 70mm perfectly. All of the scale fidelity of the 90 in a lighter more efficient package.

Ryan you are taking it to the bank, the drone footage is grate you guys have really stepped it up these last few videos. I was waiting on today to see if anything was coming out today, my jets skills are not up to the same standards as my prop skills. I love this bird , I have a problem with speed I fly every thing wide open and have a hard time slowing especially jets down.always afraid of a stall. I am going to buy a new bird this week this could be it.

I hope so too! The Thunderbirds theme is practical. It was designed to help you see the plane, which is a good thing when flying it from the ground like us R/C guys do. The gray and camouflage make it harder to see the plane.

@@jeffarab4947 Yeah Horizon/Eflite teaming up with FMS has been a great collaboration. The way I see it, you get the 70MM to rip it like a sport plane and get this one, which is 20% bigger with a ton more scale features, if you want a more scale bird. Both are fantastic.

I definitely have to have one, but will probably wait till they hit hobby shops ..... I would totally be down with being in on the pre-order like right this second ...but After ordering Draco inside of the first 16 hours of its release and showing in stock and now playing the waiting game....after doing the waiting game.....
I'm super apprehensive about pre-ordering to be honest.....Which really sucks because HH is great and I'm in the same situation as many people commenting here, just bought the 70 mm but not a big deal because I'm so excited to see an 80 mm F 16 I would be all on board ......but the Draco backorder thing, and how it did a lot of us, gives me pause....

It's 2021 and we're still flying planes for 3-5 minutes????? Nice looking jet but my nerves are usually shot on any maiden, let alone a jet and 5 minutes isn't enough time to truly discern the tendency of any plane...and then ya gotta bring her down. Do high alpha. Guessing it’s worse than the eflite 70mm which can pretty much hover on its tail.
We’ll try it on a better day. This vid is first flight in nasty conditions. Plus I’m nose heavy on purpose on maidens. Nothing high alphas like the FMS Rafale. Check my vid on that, super sick

How does speed compare to the 70mm Thunderbird version? I felt the 70mm is a great flyer just want a little more speed out of it. Does the 80mm give that?
