Good reaction. 'Metal Kingdom' is the opening track from the album so it serves a very specific purpose. It is pretty much a motivational anthem, it being the intro to the album and of course they also used it for the huge, theatrical opening number getting the crowd involved and singing along right from the start for the concerts they played at the end of January (their first in nearly 2 years) where this was filmed.
This was the official video and it was released within just a few days of the concerts where it was filmed, so the audio is from the studio recording - we will have to wait for the DVD to get the live audio.
This was at Makuhari Messe. There were two main stages - east and west. Su-metal and the thrones were on the west stage, Moametal started out on the east stage where the Kami Band were playing throughout the concert.
Joining the two stages and cutting right through the centre of the arena, so the audience were on both sides, was that long walkway and on the walkway a third stage which also moved from east to west and raised up and down as well. The girls spent the majority of the concert on that stage as they like to get as close to as many of the audience as they possibly can while they are performing.

These young ladies are maturing into a very epic phenomenon, Su-Metals vocals on this one are way deeper than I expected. This video is a live performance, but the sound is the studio track....we are anxiously awaiting an actual live performance of the songs from this album....the crowd energy and detail Baby Metal has is something special. Great one to react with, glad you decided to do this one! 🤘🦊🤘

This performance was filmed at the recent concerts in Tokyo at Makuhari Messe in front of about 15,000 fans each night. I was lucky enough to be there for both performances and it was every bit as spectacular as it looks on video and then some. Babymetal live in Japan is like nothing else.
Although Su started on the stage at one end of the arena, they spent 90% of the show on the round central stage, which moved along the central platform and lifted up about 25 feel in the air at times, so at different times during the show they were performing right in front of every part of the audience. Getting as close to the fans as possible is something that Su and Moa always want when they perform live, so the stages are usually set up to ensure they can perform for all parts of the audience.
Most of the crowd you see in the video is actually standing. It's about 90% Mosh'sh Pit and a bit of seating at the back.

BABYMETAL production crew used drones for some of the areal shots Fun fact the stage set up was in three parts. two smaller stages one with the thrones and the other one where MOA entered and the center stage. thus splitting the crowd in half.

The Fox Gate has been open...
    Let the METAL KINGDOM come!🙌
    -NotACult- 🦊🤘👑
This is why BabyMetal have no match among any other Japanese artists, top notch worldwide. Many others are finding Game Of Thrones resemblance on this stage setup, it just looks insane. The ten prophets are holding crosiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol "OO" and is the title of upcoming 4th album. The girls are carrying some kind of trident similar to the Spear Of Destiny or Lance Of Longinus from Evangelion anime series, if you know MoaMetal you know you gotta be careful with her. 🔱
Here's some official info about this song:
    METAL KINGDOM (THRONE)
_It is a powerful anthem ushering in the beginning of a new era while also representing the power and courage to step forward into uncharted territory. The track conveys imagery of one rising powerfully from the throne of silence, with a suitable fanfare announcing this new beginning._
Ending January at Makuhari Messe, they held two big live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they meet up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production.
SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. Those freaking cinematic drone shots making you feel like you're in a movie.
We were expecting this live proshot version but we'll have to wait next month for live sound.
We got so many big news and announcements, a new official member is coming (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, so we're guessing maybe some of the older kawaii metal songs they don't play anymore will be back with this new unit, so stay tuned for more but like always OTFGK.
You can find the official lyrics pinned in the comments.
Thanks for sharing this and don't forget to put your kitsune up!🦊🤘👑

A lot of this song brings to mind Daft Punk and the "Tron: Legacy" soundtrack, and Gregorian chant music.
BABYMETAL goes in a different direction - unfortunately, it is backwards. It’s an okay song for the sheeple, but to me, this is another disappointing song from BABYMETAL’s new album. Where's the metal? Where's the kawaii? Where's the mosh'sh pits? Where's the crowd participation? WHERE'S THE FUN? BABYMETAL made metal fun - not any more. Now they are just another metal band, and I seriously wonder if calling them "metal" is accurate.
Now don't get me wrong: I love BABYMETAL. I will be the first to say that Suzuka Nakamoto has a wonderful voice but, aside from that, I'm very disappointed with the direction that BABYMETAL has taken. Their first two albums and most of their third made metal music fun. But they aren't "BABYMETAL-ish" any more. They've devolved into a J-pop band. Aside from "Divine Attack", there's nothing metal or kawaii about them so far. And being kawaii and metal was what made BABYMETAL BABYMETAL! It's seems to me that they're trying too hard to make "epic" music when they need to get back to what made them great: songs that made you bang your head with a big, sh*t-eating grin on your face.
Finally, thus far, I get the feeling that this shouldn't have been a BABYMETAL album; it should have been a Suzuka Nakamoto solo album featuring Moa Kikuchi. But that probably wouldn't have sold as many albums.

Every Band needs to grow up. Yes they dont have much of the Kawaii Factor on their last Album but Collabs like the one with Electric Callboy show they have it still in them.
I would go as far and say they evolved from a Kawaii Metal Band into a Metal Fusion Band. For me it works, but im aware thats not the Case for everyone and that is fine.
Maybe they think doing another Song like Doki Doki Morning would feel odd now that they are grown up.
A Band has to evolve and i think thats what they doing now. They will lose some Fans and they will win some others wich like their actual Musicstyle more than their older Stuff.
In my Opinion, nothing is worse than a Band who stucks in a distinct "Vibe" just because its their "selling Point".
Such Stuff become repetitive very quick and forces the Band in a Corner where they dont have Fun anymore rather than getting stressed because they have to do something
they dont really feel. And you would definitly notice that in a Performance.
As for more Moa and now Momoko Song Participation, oh yeah i would like to hear their Voices more often besides Backing Vocals and short Passages in Songs.
Like let them have a Solo or two :) It would definitly make Babymetal more versatile.
For your last Point: I heard that Moa is doing most of their Choreos lately. is it true? I dont know. But it would make Sense that Moa is focused more on the Choreo-Stuff then
      the singing Aspect.
Oh and there is no Babymetal without either Moa or Su. ( And maybe even Momoko lately). Sure they where build around Su`s incredible Vocals but it was always that tripple Factor that made them what they are. No Wonder they where so happy when Momoko accepted the Challenge to step in the third Spot knowing in what gigantic Footsteps she has to go.
Damn now its way longer than i wanted to write :) I hope you give them the Chance to prove that they still are Babymetal. Just a bit more mature.
      Kitsunes up!
