This is why BabyMetal have no match among any other Japanese artists, top notch worldwide. Many others are finding Game Of Thrones resemblance on this stage setup, it just looks insane. The ten apostles are holding crossiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol "OO"♾️ and is the title of this album. The girls are carrying some kind of trident similar to the Spear Of Destiny or Lance Of Longinus from Evangelion anime series, if you know MoaMetal you know you gotta be careful with her. 🔱

Ending January at Makuhari Messe, they held two big live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they met up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production.
SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. Those freaking cinematic drone shots make you feel like you're in a movie. There's also a dance choreo version performed first outside of Japan during this recent World Tour and some fans witnessed this even more gorgeous performance, later they did it in their own country at an exclusive show only for fans.
They're rocking out the Europe & UK Tour right now but so far this song wasn't part of the setlist, we'll see later on, still fans are enjoying a lot of new songs and some other hits they brought back for this World Tour.
This is a live proshot version but with studio album sound, we already got a live sound version with the WOWOW broadcast and the released DVD/BD version of BM Begins TOO live at PIA Arena MM now with the three girls on stage.
We got so many big news and announcements back then, a new official member was announced to come next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama, if you don't know MomoMetal was the one blessed by the Fox God as a new official member. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, they got new songs exclusive for them and we're waiting for more next year.

BABYMETAL performed in Toronto in September 2023, and in Vancouver (Canada) in October.
That was part of the BABYKLOK tour which they co-headlined with Dethklok.
They’re touring Europe right now.

Welcome back and good reaction. You got it, this was the big theatrical opening for their concerts in January - their first live shows in nearly 2 years. It is also the opening track on the album they released in March.
As this is the official video it has the studio audio dubbed over the live performance - they used the live audio for the BluRay of course and Su-metal's vocals along with the Kami Band's live instrumentals are even more powerful.
You were wondering do they ever go to Canada? You missed them just a couple of months ago ... they played in Toronto and Vancouver as part of their co-headlining tour (30 dates) of north America with Dethklok on the BABYKLOK tour. They are just nearing the end of their own headline tour (20 dates) all around Europe.
Well spotted with the kitsune (fox) hand signs too - and if you look at the throne Su-metal was sitting on at the start you will also see that is made up of swords and kitsune hands too.🤘🦊🤘
You have a lot of good suggestions in your previous BABYMETAL videos for more songs you might react to, so I won't repeat all of those now, but I hope you will do them soon.

Thanks for the reaction😀 Pls also check out another Japanese electronicore/kawaii metal girl group PassCode`s ``Groundswell``. They perform in a form similar to Babymetal (with a backing band) but their musicality has different intense from Babymetal. I like Babymetal, PassCode and more recently, Hanabie🥰

This is how they opened their two first shows at Makuhari Messe in late January 2023, after their year hiatus. The audio is from the studio track, though.
I see this like Empress Su-metal and Shōgun Moametal haranguing the hordes of kitsunes before the battle. 😁
Yes, the audience do the kitsune (fox) sign all the time. Way more than the classic devil's horns sign on a "regular" metal concert. And the ladies love it. 🤘🦊

Designed to open the show, it builds and builds and never really goes anywhere, well to the next song I guess:) I luv that we hear Su use a lot more vibrato than she normal does.
If you guys want to jump to the top of heap, there are two recent masterpieces, both released in 2021. They are From Dusk Til Dawn, where Queen-Su gives, perhaps, her greatest vocal performance. The other is Monochrome, Clear Night Version, where Su and Moa semi-officialy welcome MoMo as their new third member w/ a really touching group hug!

And race sight Su singing while just sitting down. Babymetal mixing things up again right from the start. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises

Great reaction, y'all! I can't wait to see what you react to next! I hate that you just missed them in Canada. Hopefully they will be back next year sometime. I know the wait sucks. I waited over 3 years to see them live thanks to the stupid pandemic, but I finally got to see them in Dallas this year. While it is not the grand epic production like in Japan, it is an absolutely awesome show! Kitsune Up!
