Happen in late 2010, Old Armceg building at Seletar East Camp, 3rd story bunk towards the far right hand side facing near the basketball court, I book in late, used one of the male toilets around 11.45am - 12++ to take a quick bath, half way showering, lights turn off suddenly, pitch black darkness, couldn't see both hands in-front me. In darkness, feel my way around the cubicle walls to grab my showering stuff, told myself not to panic. Step outside the toilet, look left and right, corridor lights all lit up, all was quiet. Wondered to myself, maybe the toilet lights had an auto shut off switch? Very strange experience though.
A lot of camp lights are movement sensor-activated. And the sensor is near the sink area, so if you are alone bathing or passing motion, the light may go off after a while. Sometimes, mere walking past the sensor is not enough for it to detect you. You need to clap your hands very loudly or really move about very rigorously for the light to come back on.

Something are inexplicable, I experience it during my NS days in Tengah, way back in 2005, we (about 5 of us including my staff sergeant) were working in the ammo room, after work we will always lock the ammo room and leave. There was once we work pretty late, when we step out of the Ammo, my staff sergeant locked the room and the moment we turn our back and way few steps away. The whole door was like trembling, as if someone from the inside is trying to force open the door. But the issue was there was no one inside since all of us are already out…..
Heng Ah that I am still alive today. In those days our Live firing practices is done manually with each soldier carrying a large cardboard as target. There are twenty in a row and about 300 meters from the shooter. It was during my buddy turn to carry the target and everyone was already in the bunker when the order to take aim was given.A long time pass and was still no shooting. Curiously overtook me that I went up the slope and position myself exactly behind to peek what is happening when the order was order to start shooting. I was caught off guard and saw the bullets start going through the target creating hole and coming toward me in very quick succession missing me by mere inches. Panic I start climbing to top but could not. The bullets hitting the ground sent the soil flying hitting me all over. Suddenly the commander spot me and scream in the loudspeaker. I realised and run down. The commander tried to apprend the culprit but I was never caught.
