Omg.. I was from the same Mohawk company in BMT in 2002 It was my platoon mate that sadly passed away in the Tekong dummy grenade field.
It was really odd how his body was found several metres away where nobody would have gone to. One of the recruits that found his body claimed that the grass around him was flattened.. as if he was dragged. The instructors all got into trouble for missing him out in the headcount b4 we went back to company line.
Real tragic and a big mystery. May his soul RIP.

I was once a Seletar Camp HQ Medic in the old medical centre. In the past it was used by British/Japanese soldiers as medical bunks, and there was a small hut behind that was once a mortuary. Experience few scary unforgettable encounters especially during weekends night duty when the camp would be quiet n creepy.

I was from 35 SCE, Bravo, from year 2012 to 2014... we had already been using the new building... I was confined in camp due to a court order so I was confined for about 7 months... I was a storeman and I was in a 10 men buck by myself 😂😂 well I faced alot of weird stuff in the bunk but the most notable event was once I was laying down on my bed talking ok the phone to my cousin and I kept hearing as though one of the beds being pull like little by little but i didn't see anything, it was just the sound... well my cousin over the phone also at one point heard a metal screech sound... what was weird was that when I got up and turned around and saw my bed, it was actually my bed that was being pulled 😂😂😂 I ran down to the office and slept there that night 😂😂

My bunk was on the top floor, during one of the duty night when I was alone in the bunk. I was watching TV when I hear the metal chair moving sound. I just ignored it and went back to sleep. On other night, sometimes I do experience dream within a dream and sleep paralysis. On the lighter note, Seletar camp is a very green and nice place during the day times. U can hear the bird chirping away and has a nice view of Jb. 😀

I was ahead of him, I turn back and saw him was shaking with so much fear and keep screaming "Tolong, please don't disturb me, Tolong, please don't disturb me, Tolong, please don't disturb me.......". Also from 35 SCE 14 years ago, Support Company posted in from Pes C BMT Dragon Coy (June 2010 - April 2012). I saw the transition from the old buildings (e.g. old cookhouse) to new buildings. Old bunks at Armceg to the new bunks opposite Armceg. Witness some strange things (lights turning off on its own at around 12+ am) in the far right end toilets on level 3. The 2 years was an interesting experience for sure.

Every 7th month, the duty drivers will hear baby crying in the MT line at night and does not dare to sleep there. Also everytime while walking in to book-in from the main guardhouse, will feel something is among the trees and have tendency to look up for no reasons.

Had a colleague who shared that Chong Pang camp interior used to be rented out as manufacturing lots. Her dad had a place and had Thai workers on site. Very Keras, they couldn’t get rid of the spirit haunting the place and the workers were scared shitless. In the end her Dad gave the place up. Wonder if there’re stories from that camp.

I was part of the 35 SCE 2011-2013 batch. During an exercise in the camp, near the M3G washing bay, our entire company was laying sandbags on the ground when we suddenly heard a woman laughing or shouting in the nearby bushes. No one spoke about it; everyone just assumed we were too tired from the exercise and were imagining things.
We were also the first batch to move into the new blocks and use the new beds, which were still covered in plastic. We were probably the last batch to experience the old cookhouse, ARMCEG, and hangars near the wet gap.
    Anyone miss the lionscope sandwich?

Many of us still awake and witness at least 10 from different bunks but side by side people jumping down from the top bunk etc. The whole company assembled below and request for OC to booked out. OC said no at first we all just stress etc. But we told him, we will not go back the bunk and all stay below at the assembly area. He then discuss with CO and allowed us. By the time we book out, it was 0120hrs or later and we had to come back by 0630hrs. So many of us did not sleep and went out at the mamak store. It's a true storey

It was night training and CAT 1, so they opened up the MPH for the first time. I was on attend b that day so when time comes for water parade everyone ran for the toilet tap, with me being one of the last few. Note that The toilet lights were not working, but I was certain that there is someone still filling the water bottle beside meWhen I came out , sergeant asked “ underage! Any more people inside?!” I replied” yes sergeant! 1 more!” He shouted into the toilet: “eh hurry up la!”…. No reply. He turned and ask: “ underage you sure or not?” . I replied “yes sergeant!” He shouted once more: “ anyone inside?!!” …. Utter silence… he looked at me and I looked at him…. We took a peek into the toilet.. absolutely no one… we turned around and got out of there as fast as we could… I still get goosebumps when I recall this incident. And yes my nickname was underage as I was enlisted at the age of 17…. On a side note, the story about the officer posession… did this happened in 2005?

At 9:40, when Alwin Sensei talks about the cookhouse. Want to add a little bit of context of the building from my time there (June 2010 - April 2012).
So if you picture yourself standing inside the cookhouse building in the middle, to your far left end is behind the SADA Parade Square, to your far right end is beside this long curvy road that is next to the Muslim cookhouse and a small rubbish dumpster shed next to it.
The cookhouse shortcut leads you to a wooden gate entrance that leads you outside to a ''rectangular looking carpark'' followed by a 2 story British colonial looking building in front of the carpark occupied by Support Company. Next to it in the middle is the Seletar GYM that has glass panels all around it.
Sometimes when I book in late (10:45pm - 11:30pm). I will go through the old guardhouse, cut through this long windy path that has the SADA Bunks around SADA parade square and tall old looking trees behind the cookhouse with very long Scarecrow looking branches. I too also heard the radio Buddhist chants ''tok tok tok tok etc'' being played most of the time (2010 - 2011) before it was shifted to the newly constructed cookhouse building. Talk cock sing song about Buaya Battalion haha ... The officers club house with water front view, the famous prata store outside seletar camp, the freaky Ammo dump, yeah guarding that ammo dump was so freaky, even the RP and their guard dog didnt go to the end bit of the area during night petrol, the RP said their dogs would refuse to go there, so they petrol only to guard tower and turn around. Never saw any dirty thing just heard lots of stories, most scary was the toilet at the old colonial building beside the guard house of the camp entrance its near the cookhouse as well. A seargent went to toilet at night washed his face at the sink, then lifted his head to look at the mirror and saw an old lady's face instead of his, freaked out and fainted, we tried the widgy board one night with joss sticks the green stalk ones somemore, waited till 12am in corner of our bunk and nothing at all. So for some its super haunting for some its just a camp clear air relax surrounding

I took a drink and then went to play at the space invader machine next to the NCO mess. I was so intense in the game and halfway after losing 2 rounds… I heard a voice behind me asking me how many more I want to play… I turn around and saw the RSM behind me. Boat coy -
      1. one nsmen said he saw a broom flew horizontally out from the toilet one night when he woke up to pass urine totally defying gravity he simply ran back without using the toilet.
      2. Personal experience…many days at sea on exercise while on the way backed to base camp we were immediately activated to assist in the search and rescue of a RSAF pilot that crashed near Lim Chu Kang sea bordering Johor, the body was found on the 3rd day and proceeded back to camp. As we were out at sea for at least 10 days in a row I need to wash some uniforms as all my uniforms were soaked wet time then around 2am alone in the huge toilet..one of the cubicle door kept closing and opening and the toilet flushed numerous times, decided to check and noticed nobody was in the cubicle. Simply stop my washing push the pail to one corner and went back to sleep without showering!
Experienced someone kicked my double sided bed when I slept on the upper deck, confirmed it wasn’t my friend who slept below, anyway this wasn’t my actual bed as I fell asleep on one of my friend’s bed when he was out on standby out of our base camp.
Anyway I don’t really care because God is in my heart…
