Temple advised me to put kaffir lime cut abt 3/4 way thru, across on its side, 3 cuts. Put one infront of yr home n another at the back of yr home. Lime has to be in a disposable container, i made a container using aluminium wrapper. Leave it for 3 days. On the 4th day, check on the lime. Mine was dried up. But if it goes black, soft, mouldy then dat is a strong sign dat something sinister is there. U hv to wrap up the lime n throw it away out of yr home, rubbish chute is ok. I've heard that if you leave a room empty for about 3 days you have a chance to catch some supernatural activity. Longer periods increases the chances but 3 days seems to be the minimum. While I wouldn't recommend it, you can test it out by sealing off a room in your house by closing the door and leaving it alone for a few days or more. As for the windows, it is your choice. Closing it will at least keep the bugs, birds and bats out. There are ways to increase the chances further but I'll refrain from sharing it for safety reasons.

Ghosts or spirits were once like us, they think like us. So if they see someone come to try detect them asking them to knock things over to show their presence, they most likely wont, because they do not want to confirm their presence and give u the idea u need to chase them out. Iinstead of going over and asking them to open close drawers and knock things over, set up cameras there for days, and wait for activity
