As M H said steel wheels are great to off road with due to the durability of them. You can hit that thing bend it and just hammer it back together. But nothing says that having your regular wheel on with a nice all terrain or mud terrain tire will go bad. It’ll be lighter for sure and more agile. But you run the risk of cracking it faster etc. just depends. But you be the judge of it there are plenty of great steel wheels as well as regular wheels out there!
Man sorry for the late reply. And it might be a little too big honestly. Do your research man don’t do my mistake and go with a legit lift. Not lift blocks or leveling kit. They are trash.
Amadeo Alvarez you know I need to get a spare that is the same size so I just need the tire and I shall be good, planning on getting a roof rack and setting that spare on the top
I have a 2015 2.0 latitude VCT it hasn’t let me down but it’s basically a mom car for sure. Can’t imagine the 2.4 is much different. Not trying to be negative. That’s just might thought on this fail for keep. Like I said I got the CVT that might be the biggest problem. But I don’t feel it shift and non of my clothes have coffee stains on them pulling on the freeway with the slow ash thing can be worrying
@RallyWrex 915 Hey bro. How can I get mine done without rubbing, I have a 2015 Jeep Patriot Latitude and I'm thinking of buying a set of YOKOHAMA 215/60R17 GEOLANDAR or the same tires as yours on the factory rims that came with my Jeep Patriot. Please I need your response on this issue thanks.
Hey brother sorry for the very late response. RUclips won’t send out comments much. But I’d say 17s are way bigger than I’d like to be when off roading. I usually would like to keep my wheels small and fit bigger tires due to rocky terrain or sandy terrains. It would be a personal preference after all for looks and drivability. But for sure it’ll rub man even with my size. Get a good lift and go from there
@@RallyWrex915 damn thats great man, in the future I would love to own a patriot and have the same set up as you so I'll subscribe so I can keep up to date! Thanks man and keep the content coming!
I’m happy to see someone doing work on our patriots man I was thinking about trading mine in
It was a blast man! But I sold it now! Moving onto better things!
Can't stand the rough idle so annoying
They get good gas mileage apparently one of the keeps best economy cars
Don't have to cut the wheel well protrusion. Melt it with a heat gun. The new tires look awesome!
I’ll definitely try that thank you
What size of wheels and tires do you have? Do they overwrite?
Did you use spacers for the wheels?
No spacers
What size rims?(15”)
Tires? (245/65r15)
Overall what is the size of the wheel?(rim & tire combine)
Yes 15 inch by 8 wheels
30x9.5 15 tires
@RallyWrex915 what's the offset? 0? -12? +12?
This looks so cool! You think this size will fit on a 2010 Patriot?
Thank you so much! And yes absolutely. It will scrape maybe get a little smaller tires though
@@RallyWrex915 what about the 2014?
Jeep patriots are good for a geology student, I'm looking for a new car that can handle off roading at times like normal field work on dirt pavements.
Absolutely great for light off reading!
is there like particular wheels that are best for this? like i have a jeep patriot 2017 and wondering if the default wheels is good on that, thoughts?
Pretty much any steel wheel with a closed-face design (minimal or no open spaces between the spokes) are good for offroading.

Hi. Congrats! Awesome looks. What about the spare tire? Were you able to fit it in the trunk? Thanks!
Amadeo Alvarez you know I need to get a spare that is the same size so I just need the tire and I shall be good, planning on getting a roof rack and setting that spare on the top
Watch out for tweakers. I’m from Arizona. They love to steal rubbers
What the size of your replacement bf tires ?
I didn’t get a spare for it but I’d say if you’re going to get a spare then get the exact size of that of your mounted wheels and tires
@@RallyWrex915 What’s the biggest size tire that will fit without scrubbing
Como se desempeña la CVT con esa medida? Tengo entendido que si toma temperatura excesiva se desacopla hasta que se enfria.
This is so sick, wheels make a massive difference
CHEAP JEEPER hey thanks for tuning in and he’ll yea they do man! Waiting on the lift to make it better 🙌🏻
Good choice, hi from Ukraine

Jeep eyem shore thares wicked Moree spilling mixtaps end eyem sorry spell check only fails me!!!!
It’s still a good little SUV, can do a lot of things to it. But even having the 2.4 is not enough power to go full off roading out on hard trails

I'm looking for a lift kit for the 2015 patriot sport so fwd. Is there any?
I’ve heard this kit fits but, I’m not sure if it does or not. Don’t know if any other ones
Hi man, is that the variable gear ratios (CVT) gearbox?? what's the fuel consumption u get with it??
No i believe regular tranny. At least that’s how it felt. I was getting around 15-19 on a good day. Sorry for the late reply
I really want to see the update :) it stopped rubbing with the lift?
sharon matute next video is the update on the Patriot 😏
Hey bro just seen your video awesome video I want to know the tire size and rims size I want to do it with out a lift kit I'm new to RUclips
Pretty much you will rub if you run my tire size but I have 30x9.5 15s for tires and 15x8 wheels
Does the dashboard say your tires are low because of how big the tires are
What size tires and rims are they?

Orlando Zapata no problem brotha
Is it to heavy for those that's a 2.4 engine right
It’s not too bad, but the wheels are heavy
