What makes Islam likable as a person and fighter is that his trash talk is always surface level. You look at him grinning and laughing almost in a trolling sort of way, yet it never gets personal with him. That's healthy.

He was in the awe of humbleness of "islam makhachev" and khabib, as in they are supremely talented yet humble (everyones treated equal etc) plus living up to the expectations of the people of that region (where lots of champions have come out)

He doesn't do anything fancy, he stick to his game plan, i really believe, Khabib Gym in Dagestan is So Huge. They have multiple Weight class ,and these dudes are helping islam To Simulate any kind of Gameplan according to islam opponets. Just to get the feeling of fighting The same body type as Poirier.. they might even simulate poirier Boxing and approaches.
There's a lot of fighter with each skills.
Umar, Usman they have Thier own style that so different from Islam.

Chael after the future UFC Hall of Famer and David after my best friend that had passed away in a helicopter crash last March in Fort Campbell, KY.
