    The best thing about being in our age group is seeing everyone live . I've seen everyone from Janis Joplin when I was 14years old Clapton and Rush both several times to Skynyrd the list is endless. I've never had the opportunity to see Whitesnake and I have to say David Coverdale is my all time favorite and I hope I get the chance to see them before he stops touring. Yes whenever I feel like damn it getting old sucks I just remember all of the wonderful times and people in my life and it's worth getting older.

      @Christian-fu8vx 21 день назад

      It looks like, but I know another anecdote about Mr.Coverdale and Mr.Bowie: In an interview in 1993, David Coverdale reached for his Gitanes pack and told a nice Bowie anecdote: He was in America and ran out of French cigarettes, what was terrible for him. As luck would have it, David Bowie was working in the studio next door at the time, recording something. He also smoked Gitanes. So he asked him if he could sell him a pack. "No, I'm sorry", he told him, unfortunately he needed the stock he had built up himself. Through various channels Mr. Coverdale finally found out which shop in Los Angeles he always bought these cigarettes from. He sent one of the guys from his crew there and bought up the entire stock of his favourite Gitanes. Two days later David Bowie called him and asked if he could buy a few packs from him. He answered as politely as firmly: "No!"😉

    My two cents: I wish people could say they are Christian instead of "spiritual". I also realize the word spiritual covers a lot of ground and means a lot of different things. I am a Christian. Jesus Christ is my Savior and the only way.

      People don't say they're christian if they think christianity is self-righteous bollocks for people who rejoice in the prospect of unbelievers being roasted alive for all eternity.

    David! I noticed I've commented twice on the same interview. I read my previous comment to you, come to Canada. You may be surprised at the turnout. Make it a cross country tour. Hit all the big cities. And if you need some Canadian marketing help, drop me a line. Graham

    Where is The MIGHTY JOHN SYKES?!?!

    • @toddvandell85
      @toddvandell85 4 года назад +1

      @terry miller
      John got himself fired during the sessions for 1987.
      He tried to get David fired from David's band, though John now denies that.
      But the rest of the band backed John, instead of David, who was out with a sinus infection.
      David felt the band was basically mutinying against him, so he sacked them all.
      Just in case anyone wasn't sure that Whitesnake was David's band.
      He does that a lot.
      It was funny that the version of the band in those famous 80s videos wasn't the one that actually recorded the songs.
      But that's where John is.

AND I thought it was cool that it took 2 killer guitar players to equal 1 John Sykes lol

      @@RogerMelodicMusic he’s STILL doing that!!! Lol I guess that 87 album was big enough to carry him all this time. Other than Japan I guess. I dig all except the Loveland thing. @@toddvandell85 LOL What. crock of shit! Coverdale was famous for firing ALL band members and keeping the money. You really need to sort your musical history out pal because the real reason was he was jealous of Syke's looks and raw talent (which is quite obviously leaps and bounds above Coverdales). Sykes was the reason Whitesnake hit the big time, he co-wrote that album and it went platinum and they haven't had anywhere near the success of that album since. It's no secret in our industry that Coverdale already reached out to Sykes more than once to get him back in the band but he refused - rightly so. "Tried to get David Fired" - what an absolute joke LOL!!
