English language at its best....pronounciation,clarity,nuances,intonation,tone,last but not least interesting stories...charm...what a delight to hear such a voice speaking, after all your unique singing that we were blessed to listen to.Bravo indeed,mr.Coverdale.
One of my very first concerts was Whitesnake opening for Quiet Riot in , I believe 1983 in Pocatello, Idaho. I met most of the guys as they were staying at the Holiday Inn. They were walking across the street from a restaurant called The Sandpiper. I got Neil Murray's autograph and said hello to Mr. Coverdale. Rudy Sarzo was nice too. Thank you David Coverdale for sharing your talent with all of us fans!!!! I was 14 btw. Unforgettable. 😊
I remember being at the airport picking up my younger brother back in February of 1996. And Christopher Lee had been on the same aeroplane. He came out first and stood right next to me with his entourage. I was tempted to say "Hi!" but I decided to leave him be. I felt like a midget next to him being 5'5" tall. Always liked him and still think he was the best Dracula. He was a master at playing a villain. RIP
I rarely comment on posts, but these are great stories…his description of people he’s met with such warmth and admiration is something that should be commended
You are so you, I've been a fan for 45plus years , love them all David Coverdale's Whitesnake love the tracks , thankyou for your contribution to music .x
You have got to love The Cov! Haven't seen Whitesnake for 39 years that was at D onington in 1984....correct me if I'm wrong sir. My favourite gig was watching the original 'Snake at Donington 1981. I also used to love 'The Undersea World Of Jaques Cousteau'. When I was 18 I worked at Selfridges and often served Vincent Price, you're right he was an absolute gentleman. By the way I'm very old if you hadn't already gathered that, 60 tomorrow ffs... can't bloody believe it! Love you Mr. Coverdale, you are a gentleman and a scholar, I 'Wish You Well' sir 😊❤.
The most talented, the most elegant, the most witty, the most intelligent, the coolest singer in the rock music scene. Thank you for making me dream since my childhood and helping me overcome difficult times with your music.
David has always transcended time and allowed music lovers to really engage in the rock genre no matter what year they were born. Not just an amazing singer, but a fantastic entertainer and front man. Like a fine wine, gets better with age. Hats off to you David for your amazing talent.
I love the fact you "Evolve" with the times, staying as relevant today as ever! Congrat;s on becoming a US Citizen and nice to have you as a neighbor at the lake! - All the blessings to you and your family.
Always love to hear your wonderful stories and memories ❤🤗 Thanks for sharing them with us dear David ❤ You have a heart of gold and you are the only one with so much respect and love for your audience ❤❤❤
I have been a fan since I can rightly recall. Every venture you were involved in was/is gold- your Whitesnake days are the soundtrack to my youth. I've said it before and say it again, Coverdale and Sykes were like sex on vinyl. Coverdale's sultry voice coupled with Sykes' undeniable wizardry on his guitar- it never fails to cause me to transcend to the years gone by.... thank you Mr Coverdale
I saw Whitesnake open for Motley Crue, July 4th 1987 in Little Rock, Arkansas.. David said “Happy Fourth” and then called us “snatch maggots”. Awesome show by both groups.
I’m from the USA. I remember Day on The Green, in the 80’s and To the crowd, You said; “ Don’t be Daft, Don’t be Silly, Put a Snake Skin on You’re Willy.” I use it to this day 😂 Cracked me up!! Love You’re music!!
Dragi Davide, samo Vi pevate srcem, dušom, emocijama! Svaki dan slušam Vaše pesme! Veoma lepo govorite! Divan ste govornik i Vaše priče su veoma zanimljive. Milina Vas je slušati. Mnogo radosti i sreće Vam želim! ♥️♥️♥️🍀🍀🍀🙂🙂😘🌞🌞😊
Wow, I loved the first question and David's response. What a historic time in the history of music... David in the band, just before Burn! Gonna listen to the rest now...
I am very glad to see you in good health and great mood Mr. Coverdale! I had a dream to sing with you together, but I'm afraid it's unrealistic... In any case, thank you for your creativity and long life! ✌️😎👍
Great David! I was at the first Rock in Rio. I traveled from São Paulo to Rio (600 km) to see Whitesnake (only Whitesnake). Come back after the show, without having slept and without having seen the following shows (Iron Maiden, I think, and Queen). It was worth it, of course. My question is: do you remember the moment when your microphone failed and you continued to sing anyway, at the top of your lungs? That was Rock'n'Roll, man. And I will never forget.
You are a legend my friend. Can't say enough good things about you. I sure hope you will be able to do a North American tour next year. Best of health to you!
Dear David, you can't imagine how much I've admired you since I was a boy and I saw the cover of the Made in Europe album! Could you tell us in a few words what really happened in Jakarta, when you were forced to flee? A huge hug, from Italy... Vale!
Oh my goodness! 🎉😂❤ Great stories and great voice and gracious guy! ❤ Hepburn is a first fave of mine. Christopher Lee, my favorite dracula (I did think Frank Langella was quite appealing climbing up the walls to the lady's window however). Fun "in the afternoon!" 💜💜💜💜 Sweet blessings to you! 🙏
More like this Mr Coverdale and perhaps the heads up why the Butterfly Ball concept ended with just the LP being produced without any progress with the movie.
When I was in 4th grade I remember loving seeing WhiteSnake videos playing on MTV. The white hallway sticks in my mind in IS THIS LOVE video. I always wondered where that was filmed.
Nice to hear some background on 'The Last Note of Freedom', gets forgotten within the Coverdale catalogue despite being in a Cruise box office success.
Here are 2 questions for the next QT clip: 1. Why are bands/musicians who started in the 60s or 70s still the best today? Younger musicians don't have the same high quality as the older ones! 2. Is there another chance for fans to hear new music of brilliant blues albums like Whitesnake or Northwinds by Coverdale?
Again I say… this man needs his own late night talk show. Truly gifted talker/storyteller
Man,,?
The Man@@stevedamien638
Sexy too!...
😊🎉
He definitely does! I love the fact that he answers the questions with his wonderful stories!
That is NOT how I envisioned David Coverdale speaking. He sounds like a very humble man.
Compare his singing voice to his speaking voice it is quite the contrast.
David’s memory is incredible.

I love David Coverdales voice he is proper story teller n one of the finest vicalist in rock history.

Love David Coverdale. Great voice, great personality. 🤘

He should be an after dinner speaker! Tells a fantastic story!
I saw Whitesnake open for Motley Crue, July 4th 1987 in Little Rock, Arkansas.. David said “Happy Fourth” and then called us “snatch maggots”. Awesome show by both groups.
I have the biggest friend crush on David Coverdale. What a cool guy.

What an absolute gentlemen the way he's speaking.
It would be great to have guest appearances by Jimmy Page and Glenn Hughes on the next Whitesnake album. 🎸
One thing: scraping + chafing = "scafing". Yours truly, the speech pathologist! ♥️♥️♥️

Sentence (001): I remember it exatly. Sentence (002): I think it was December. Yes! It's cristal clear
DC un placer este tipo de videos, fui a ver a Whitesnake varias veces y siempre sonó impecable, saludos!
Middleton, great call. Green spot is worth a try if that’s your tipple.
Great Stuff Cov
