    Theory, reasons, and practicality! Absolutely wonderful, I will be an engineer in no time, thank you sir!
    Also, I love the speed and calmness of your presentation; for me it is perfect. In fact, I think I'm in love with you; strictly engineeringly speaking, of course. That's not to say you are not a stylish, handsome, man with a soul soothing accent! Please keep up the great work!

    At 21:30 [ Gear ratio = selected motor speed / required speed of machine ]
    Is what I think , kindly check .

    At timestamp 8:47, did you mean Speed ratio is 1 : 10? Cause gear ratio seems to be 10:1

    • @siddharthshah4929
      @siddharthshah4929 2 месяца назад

      Exactly. If gear ratio is 1:10 then speed will be 15000rpm and torque will be 0.5Nm.

    Thanks for your teachings. Can We get an Inline Helical or Planetary Gearbox with a Driving Speed of 30RPM to elevate to 900RPM as the Output to meet 1500 Nm using a backup Servo Motor to control de speed of the overall operation?

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  4 месяца назад

      As I understand, you want an inline helical or planetary gearbox that you will drive with a servo motor with a speed of 900 RPM? And desired output torque is 1500 Nm and speed is 30 RPM? Yes, surely we will find 1:30 ratio gearbox, but make sure the gearbox torque capacity should be more than 1500 Nm, which is quite rare,

    Hello,
    I have one Question,
    How to decide the ratio of gear box for particular servo motor.
    Suppose if motor rpm is 3000 then how we decide that require rpm is. .......rpm
    So that i can select gear box .......ratio

      Glad to hear that, Yes, I always avoid using fancy tranding english word, to make well understandable for everyone. also, I have seen we most of mechanical engineers are bad at english, moreover, I'm also bad at English pronunciation. it's hard for me to pronounce "nostalgia".
      But we have to move in right direction - Global English language and good communication skills. apart from most important core mechanical design skills

    I am curious about the SEW motor size selection. They are given a Rated motor speed of 1455 rpm and an output speed of 323 rpm. I am curious about how they have achieved such high output speeds. On both sides, there is an AT10 32-timing pulley with an 8-meter horizontal travel with an AT10-toothed belt & the travelling time is 10 seconds.
    Can you please help me on this topic?
    Rated motor speed [1/min]: 1455
    Output speed [1/min]: ??
    Overall gear ratio : ??
    Output torque Mamax [Nm]: ??
    Thanks

    Hi I want same calculations of pipe bending machine gearmotor capacity,
    I have 2 inch dia pipe and 5 mm thick bends as a cacular, I wand give force to pipe bends and gear motor drive pipe left and right

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  Год назад

      As I'm understanding, you want to bend the pipe in circular path and you want to calculate required gearmotor power, to push the pipe from sides in a guided circular path (made with ideal rollers, I gues), am i right ?

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  День назад

      Yes, gear ration is 10. it's same thing, but as gearbox is reducer gearbox, so we multiply motor speed by 1/10, (not 10) that's why 1:10
