    I didn't get the point at 26:00. How it can be right to assume that load like its rotating and to take it as equivalent moment of inertia, if it is moving directly and has no moment of inertia in fact. Can someone explain physics behind that, please?

    • @kamalakannan.1971
      @kamalakannan.1971 День назад

      Instead, you would typically use the energy equivalent of the rotational and linear inertias and reduce them on the motor speed to arrive at the torque. Let me know, if you need an example

      See, the belt is in contact with the surface of the pulley, so for any rotation of pulley, The load on the belt moves forward by exactly the same distance that the the pulley circumference moves, This means the load linear motion depends directly on the radius of the pulley and the angle of its rotation- if roller rotate x radian, load will move- X radian. r (if roller rotates full rotation - 2 pi. r)
      And the same condition will occur, when we put the load on the circumference of the pulley, right ?
      This is what i did here, i put the total load (100 kg as a point load) over pulley circumference, and we know the moi of a point load at distance r, here r is roller radius.
      But this is just an approximation calculation.

    Where did you get those values in coefficient of friction?

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  8 дней назад

      From bearings datasheet
      For ball bearings - approx 0.02
      For roller bearings - approx 0.05
      Between dry finish steel plates - 0.1 to 0.5

    Which type of compnay motor we have to use for roatry indexing table , If we develop in house rotary table

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  3 дня назад

      For fixed indexing up to 24 stations, we use a standard indexing gearbox with an induction motor- I have used the Orbital system. But there are lots of local brands.

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  7 дней назад

      This is just for an example. For LM rail and block- coefficient of friction can be considered as 0.02 to 0.05

    The cylinder will accelerate only at the start of the stroke, not throughout the whole stroke. It will accelerate and then decelerate.

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  11 дней назад

      Yes, maybe because air will not feed with the same speed, this is why i have mentioned - it depends on air flow rate
