Rumour has it that they intended to play all 3 movements, but had to give up because Matonizz is still splitting that octave G in the 3rd movement ;-) Nicely played sir!
Hello friends, my apologies for slightly late upload today. That being said, hope you enjoyed this awesome new arrangement of Holst's Second Suite in F made specially for this channel by my colleague Drew Fennell. Remainder movements will be uploaded in the upcoming days so keep an eye for it. Full score with parts in both bass and treble clefs are now available for download at patreon.com/matonizz See you soon peeps, best, Matonizz
As a euphoniumist, this has LONG been one of my favorite pieces of music! Even when not arranged for tuba and euphonium, it feature the voices of the euphonium so nicely. Well done and thanks!
i have to play this for band this year and im failing miserably. i play the baritone (im in 10th grade) and i couldnt figure out how my part was supposed to sound and the recordings of this by concert bands drown out the part i play and this helped me tonns thank you so much!! now i know what the heck im supposed to be doing :)))
Looking forward to hearing the rest! Great memories from playing this in my combined Colleges band in year 12 (Tasmania, Australia). Though, I was playing horn, so didn’t have any of the fun bits.
That's an interesting looking euphonium in the background there, looks like it's made out of plastic instead of metal. Nice playing too, really enjoyed it!
SInce our classes have moved online, our band director has us record duets and submit them for assignments. My friend plays euphonium and he made a duet of this same song a few weeks ago.
Playing this in band on tuba, but I’ve missed like 4 days of rehearsal because I had to be quarantined because someone in my class next to me had Covid symptoms...
Great arrangement. No holds barred on Tuba 1 range, eh? This is one that I'm really familiar with, so it sounds strange after listening to years of me playing it for myself on much smaller instruments.
Hi.. sir I am also a Euphonium player but I listened to you I can say that's God gifted fingers you got I wonder when I will became a player like you. So can u just tell me how to record 04 solos together in my mobile it mean which app or which camera is to be require.
I'll take that as a compliment :D that being said, if you know software that can produce midi like that, please share the link with me, would save me a lot of time :D
Would love to hear you guys perform some John Sousa.
I love the way the 6/8 section sounds. Always reminds me of pirates dancing around or something.

Hello, a euphoniumist here. I just played this piece and I love it. It’s so fun and easy to play! Love the tuba and euphonium sounds!
Glad you enjoyed it Alex!
You should do a consuelo ciscar Arrangement with 2 tubas and 4 euphoniums

We are playing this piece on our concert but we all hate it to play 😂
You should arrange and play antepenultimate tango
How long does it take to record and edit these types of videos?
I want you to play The Gum Sucker March Mvt. 4 please, Thank
As a fellow Euphonuim player, how do you get such good clarity and tone on the high notes?
Tempo seems a little quick for my taste, but fantastic, clean playing and heart expression!
can you do songs of the british isles
We'll definitely put that on the list, thanks for suggestion!
For Curiosity sake, what kind of tubas are those (make, model, and key)
How did you mix this?? It almost sounds like it was done on a midi.
I'll take that as a compliment :D that being said, if you know software that can produce midi like that, please share the link with me, would save me a lot of time :D
I think tubas should be a little louder :D
