I’m a High school sophomore and I’ve been playing the euphonium for about 5 years now and you have shocked me with how well you played that and how well you articulated those notes. You are truly a talented player and I hope to be like you sometime in the future
Also a sophomore lol. I got some pretty good accomplishments under my belt and sometimes think I’m as good as I can be. This video shows me how much better you can be. Insane runs and super notes are just crazy to me at this point. Hopefully I can reach this level soon🙏
Outstanding intonation and precise tonguing young man!! Very difficult piece but well managed!! Keep inspiring others to challenge themselves with "our" solo performer...the wonderful euphonium. 👍
2:16 crushed my soul in a good way. I don’t even play euphonium I play tuba, but that is the most beautiful lick I’ve ever heard on a brass instrument. Phenomenal job composing this piece, and even more playing it.
Where do I start! Brilliant piece, even more brilliantly played. The range, the skips , the everything was unbelievable. The technicalities of this piece and the way it was played is historical! It's almost humorous to think about the invitation to download and play along on this one....I can think of maybe 2 people on earth who would be able to play this incredible piece! The musicality expressed by this piece is beyond amazing! Bravo, my friend!!
This is one of the most outstanding euphonium performances i have ever heard! As an euphonium player myself i couldn't keep a straight face, the precision, tone, over all control over you instrument left me speechless
Fabulous piece and playing. Well done. I'm a former Euphonium player with the US Navy Band from the 1970's. Every aspect of your playing was world-class. Congratulations!
I listened to this arrangement more than 20 times by now, just to be able to grasp every detail of it. As a brass player myself, i don't want to use the word talent here, as it would be an insult to the sheer determination and training you put in to reaching THAT level. The clockwork like precision while playing the fast passages, every movement you and your instrument make has purpose and nothing is random, the movement through the registers and you deliver the slow passages with such clarity, that is virtuous playing, i knew i was in for a ride hearing that jump at bar 20. Thank you so much for letting us witness this brilliant piece and playing
Bro this is unbelievable I come across this guy and I’ve never heard of him before and he literally blows me away. I play trombone and I can’t imagine how unbelievably hard this piece must be and i will never know how this guy plays it with a straight face. Kudos to you man you are absolutely insane

I haven't played the euphonium/baritone in 15 years, but I love listening to your uploads. As much as I would love to pick it up again, I have far too many commitments, but it is so wonderful being able to listen to someone as talented as yourself. I played for almost ten years in concert and marching. It brings me great warmth and nostalgia hearing such a mastery of what I aspired to be in my younger days. Amazing solo, your skills are phenomenal. You're surely one of the great ambassadors of our beloved Euphonium. Wish you merry Christmas and all the best and good health in 2024. Keep up the wonderful work on your Euphonium.
If I close my eyes, and imagine a chess game (used to play in HS in competition team) I can feel the tension building, and see the agony of surrendering the queen...onlhy to eventually be check-mated! Fantastic!! Kudos to both the pianist and the solist!!
I'm mesmerized by how amazing you played this piece. I've been playing euphonium for around 5 years now, and you are the player I look up to most. That part in measure 20, where you went from high notes to super low range, left me SHOCKED. I'm obsessed. I hope to meet you in the future. I love your videos.
