This past year I played Holst’s suite in F and it saved me from giving up on the euph. If not for that song, I wouldn’t be as in love with my instrument as I am now, and I wouldn’t have found your channel! I’ve never felt more determined to really brag about being a euphonium player!
My favorite ever bass line is at D. Played it many MANY times in college. That 2 pattern in 3 is the best. I would get that “nice” smile from my director every time. Plus ya get the right guys and the weight of all those long note are amazing.
Hey, just wanted to say a big thank you for letting me hear awesome music from the Baritone/Eumphonium community. I recently switched from Baritone to Tuba in 2019-2020 school year and missed playing a Baritone lately. Just wanted to say a big thank you for all of this amazing music over the past two years. Have a good day!
Hi peeps, apologies for late upload this week but hopefully it will be worth the wait! Enjoy this 1st mvt of this awesome suite. Remainder two movements to come, will keep you posted. For now, don't forget to like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed this video. We would really appreciate it! Full score available for download at patreon.com/matonizz Have a great rest of the week friends! Matonizz
I love this arrangement so much! such a powerful brass band sound. A few of the chords sounded less piercing than the original, but that comes down to personal preference, it may just be that im used to the original. Amazing work again and I cannot wait to see the other 2 movements!!!
This is a very sweet arrangement. Brings me back to last year, when I played First Suite in Eb in my school district's honor band. Beautiful piece. P.S. I played percussion, so I got to mostly listen to the price and enjoy it
Now I’m wondering how it would sound if you guys did this with the William Byrd Suite. As a trumpet player William Byrd was quite the journey to go through.
I play a Kanstul. Clunky as can be....22 years old, played a ton and not all that well cared for. She’s the Millenium Falcon of flugelhorns-still has a few surprises in her.
Sure, send me an email to euphonium.legends@gmail.com and we can do it through paypal. Although it's cheaper for you to just join the patreon and download it. You can always cancel membership whenever you'd like, either way, whatever options works best for you :) Best, Matonizz
I’ve watched all of the mvmts (in reverse order since that’s the order i found them). The playing is so nice in all of them. This mvmt is definitely the least successful since I feel the Chaconne is so dependent on the Tone color changes that are missing here. Also I really just wanted someone to stand up and whack a bass drum in the last few bars.
This peice takes me back to playing Tuba in High School conference bands. Long live low brass!

I always love seeing professional low brass musicians and just hearing their beautiful like all the musicians playing this arrangement
An ALL TIME FAVORITE of mine when it comes to euphonium parts!

Very beautiful flugelhorn! Bravo!
I literally need the other movements to this because this is epic
Also, this is now my new favorite video on this channel
All time favourite. Beautiful brass ensemble 👍
I cannot explain how much I love this

Sounded like destiny first few moments ty for nostalgia trip

Love these types of videos, play pictures at an exhibition? ;-;
We were supposed to play this for our spring concert in my hs wind ensemble but yk corona
Pls do 2 and 3 movement
It will be out very soon friend :)
✨👏
Sounds great. Its almost too mellow sounding in a couple of spots without having a trombone player available (a good problem to have).
Now I’m wondering how it would sound if you guys did this with the William Byrd Suite. As a trumpet player William Byrd was quite the journey to go through.
May I ask why that first Tuba part goes very high?
Only 8 parts to spread all the instruments as well as having a very capable tuba player :)
Who needs woodwinds amirite

Can't help but wonder what the connection is, if any, other than musically between Drew Fennell and Frederick Fennell.
None. I met him once. Probably related back to the French Huguenot, but not closely.
@@TheMusicofDrewFennell Thank you for the reply.
What flugelhorn is used in this vid if you don’t mind me asking

Can you explain how to do bass parts in the new minecraft song called pigstep.
Is it possible to just order parts without joining anything?

It sounds so odd with the woodwind parts being played on brass instruments.

it is better with wind :)
Honestly, this piece feels better when it's a tad bit slower. This is a bit faster than I would like, but honestly a great rendition nonetheless!
Conical bores make everything better tbh
I accidentally clicked on this video and I was about to click off when I realized what song was playing
