- I found a Lugia with a pretty severe crease. Foil is typically hard to get results with but no matter what it’s always worth a shot. This one worked out a little bit better than I expected. Check it out, I hope this helps.

I feel like creases always leave scars when it comes to Pokemon cards. Nice improvement though!
@@rscabbage I agree with you. I almost didn’t even bother but I figured why not… Any improvements cool. This one worked out pretty well. It did take four days. I did little adjustments every day. But I was proud of it and I figured if anybody has anything like this, they would much rather have it small than the most noticeable thing.
And the scars remind us that the cards are real...
How do I get the cards dry again after the acrylic process if I don't have a humidor? My cards bend a lot afterwards...😕
Check out the tips here - www.kurtscardcare.com/post/card-care-guide-the-soak-and-dry-process
@@dennis8559 take a look at this chart, I can help you fix that. It only curves because you let it dry too quickly. You can always take a step backwards and put a light spray on each pad and let it dry thoroughly. if you’re on Instagram and you need me to take a look at a picture feel free to reach out. I’ll help you get over this little bump and you’ll be up and running.
What about tiny white nicks on the edges or corners? Do you use the same tool to smooth it out?
@@shan_navi you can smooth them out, but the white is usually the result of missing paint which is permanent
Does anyone know the material of the mats or where to purchase? Same question for the plates. Thanks in advance!
@@nmalele0909 I got you right here

Did you repeat the moisture-on-mats process several times in those days of work on the card? I've noticed the texture of the card becomes a bit…wet? If that makes sense, when I try this method. Could it be because I've used too much product? Thanks as always for your input, love your work
@@osiride yes I repeated moisture, but only when the previous moisture is dry. You gotta keep it real light. You can soak the heck out of sports cards and that’s how I treated TCG at first. I realized that’s the wrong way. I would ruin them with too much moisture. Just a light touch of it does wonders.
Which kit would you recommend then for a light crease like that? Also, if you can point out what clamps and plastic enclosures aswell? I’ve got a base set charizard with a damage just like that but not on the holo! Just the back side and would Love to give your product a try. For years I’ve regretted playing with my cards as a kid lol. You might just have what it takes to reverse the damage.
@@Jslaughter my Card care kit would be just fine, then you would want to pick up some acrylic plates and some drying pads

Does the care kit come with 2 mats? Also, are the “drying pads” the circle cotton pads?
@@Jslaughter the drying pads and the card mat are the same material. The card care kit comes with one, I have a vintage bundle that comes with eight of them. However, you’re gonna go through these things and I suggest getting more. I get this material on Amazon.

working wonders, nice!
Do you push along the crease lines or do you go perpendicular
@@Hugeness55 all of it, but I keep the pressure from my hand fairly light. I’ll go with the crease and I’ll go against it over and over and over…
Amazing work as usual, I'll hold out hope one day that some of the really bad ones I have can be fixed by you when you find some new crazy tricks lol.
Would you be willing to work on my first edition neo genesis Lugia? It has a crease like that on the back of the card. Only thing making it grade so low.
@@Boogsi_XBL no, I appreciate you asking, but that’s not the service I offer. I teach how to do this type of stuff. Or at least share whatever improvements I can make.
@@kurtscardcare I’ll keep watching the videos and practice on some cheaper cards first! Thanks for the content!
Hey, i recently bought your card spray. I tried fixing creases on some YGO cards and i have been getting some decent results with a little bit of patience.
I noticed that sometimes the porosity of the black mats gets imprinted on the card, did something like that ever happen to you? What could be the cause? I am using almost identical tools like you.
Thank you for your help!
@@sTraPattone I’m glad to hear that you’re making some progress. I haven’t had the mats ever leave a texture that I don’t like. If you’re using the same mats that I suggest it might be that you used a little bit too much moisture, and the texture got a little wonky. Let me know if that makes sense.
Hi, how do you call the tool you use for the creases? The pen with the head made of like gum? I can't find it on the internet
I have the same problem on a dark charizard, i will try this way
Thank youuu

Wowww thats awsome bro keep doing what your doing.
I cleaned a vintage card with spray and the shine this morning the card had folded up a lot 😢 did I do something wrong
@@chibearslight1900 folded? Did you get the card soaking wet? That definitely something that would mess up a card. You can send me a picture if you need some help. Just practice on cheap stuff if you’re new to this. No reason to make any mistakes.
What kind of humidor? Can I use a cheap one from Amazon for cigars
