Hi I have a 2004 Mercedes-Benz e320 estate/wagon base model and I wanted to ask you how can I fix the little rubber hose on the front bottom part of the intake manifold by where secondary air pump is at. it has broken off and I cans find anything that shows how to fix it since the rubber hose goes all the way into the intake manifold, could you please help me out or point me in the right direction on directions how to fix it, it would be highly appreciated.
What was the main reason replacing secondary air pump? What was the syptoms? What is the kilometer of the car? Without these info your video only shows how to loose a bolt :(
I learned out to take it out from this video. These pumps usually fail because Mercedes uses cheap-ass relays that arc and eventually stick in the closed position, causing the pumps to run continuously and burn the motor out. The pumps are easy to test. Pull the plug and apply 12v using the correct polarity. It will spin up instantly and smoothly if it's working. Sometimes the relays fail in the open position and all you need to do is replace it to get your pump going again. They're 5 or 6 bucks online. If you go to the dealer, they will rape you. I've heard of people paying over $40 there for a $5 part, only because it has the Mercedes star printed on it. Total scam as usual.

I have 2006 W211 E350. I got P010 code. Watched your video to replace secondary air pump. Now I have code P0418 code. Replaced part number A002 540 1497. Engine light is still on. Please help. What should I do next?
